Hi,I'm an IT technician that would try to disable the automatic update of Acrobat Reader DC due to a problem with SAP's preview/print.I've read some post in this forum and using the Adobe Wizar I've build a new installation package with this "main" parameters. This solution didn't solve the problem because Acrobat Reader DC continues upgrating itself.In the "task scheduler" I've found a task called "Adobe Acrobat update task" enabled. Is that the problem?Could someone help me? Is it possible to find a wizard's guide more detailed that can help to understand how to solve the problem? Thanks in advance for your collaboration.(and sorry for my bad english)ReguardLuca

My application locks and shuts down when attempting to open a pdf saved within the program. My IT guy and Tech Support with the application are unable to determine a fix. Any assistance will be appreciated. (I think I posted this originally in the wrong group)

When converting a PDF file, I have some chapters that have a 1/2 line in between the first and second line that is cannot be corrected. I also have noticed that the indenting is off. Any help with correcting this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I had the same experience. In addition the Adobe processes used up 100% CPU after the latest update. I never signed up for creatie cloud nor adobe's cloud propositions. I just want to use adobe PDF. 

Hello  I'm having some weird issues while saving PDFs with Acrobat Reader DC. Randomly, I get the message "The file maybe read only. The document could not be saved. This file is already open or in use by another application" This happens randomly. Sometimes when I click on Save, it simply saves the file. But, then for the same file, sometimes it prompts me for the location and whether or not I would like to overwrite the existing file. If I say Yes, it would throw the above error.This happens randomly. Another issue that I have seen - If I say Yes to overwrite the existing file, Acrobat renames the file by pre-populating a series of random letters followed by .toThen if I close the Acrobat reader, and look for that tmp file, it's gone. I'm running Win 10 pro version 20H2 with the latest version of Acrobat Reader 2021.001.20145 I have tried to repair the installation and reboot (no change) Change preview pane on/off in explorer (no chan

Reader DC version: 20.012.20041.1044in previous versions in measuring tool mode i could select a measured area and I could see the total area and the scale that had been used. Now in measuring mode i can't select the box (the cursor does not turn to a pointer cursor).  I can select the box in comment mode and see the total measurement but not the scale used.    

Hello, I'd like to print with a command line, but when I execute adobe reader with the command /t, then a PDF file is printed on a default printer. Is it possible to print with a command line and set printer and print settings?

Hello Adobe Support Community I am trying to send a Word file to print with a company and have sent it as a PDF.However on printing, the document has some areas that are darker in tone.The company tell me I need to flatten the PDF with Adobe Acrobat Distiller.I currently only have Adobe Reader version 2021.001.20145.I believe Adobe Acrobat Distiller is now unavailable. I hope you can reccommend a way in which I am able to flatten my PDF. Warm wishesElaine

When I open a PDF, it is fine. As soon as I click on it, it becomes unreadable and pixelated. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Removed and added drivers. I'm not sure what to do next.

I want to achieve that calculation and also want the color of Y, N, P and NA appear according to excel file. I think posting here will help me to solve my issue. 

This is by far the worst touchscreen ereader app I've ever used. Not only does it default to page LENGTH, but when I manually fix the zoom to page WIDTH, then the stupid thing resets on every single page turn. Adobe, you've got to fix these bad zoom behaviors. There are so many other Windows Store apps that browse PDFs better than Adobe Reader Touch.

When using any "text" .pdf that is downloaded and fillable my highlight tool does not work. When I highlight text with the cursor then select the highlight tool the comments box indicates that the "highlight tool" has been used, but no color is added to the text. This occurs no matter what color highlighter I use, nor the opacity setting. All other tools (e.g. - underline tool, add text) are working perfectly. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I am using a Lenovo Windows 8.1 machine and running AcrobatReader 11.0. Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions. 

Hi all,I encountered a problem when trying to open hyperlinks from a pdf document (to other pdf's) in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. The hover state of the button wont even appear, in IE (and the Reader itself) however it does. Does anybody know which setting has to be changed either in the browser or the Reader in order to open them from Chrome/Edge/FF, if possible at all?  

i have used this program for many years and had no issues. However the last 6 months every time i click on screen in adobe DC reader the screen converts to this. ive reinstalled the program 3 times and have no clue where to go to from here.

Adobe reader can't timestamp document.Server returns: Rejection.Reason: There is no Authorization field in the HTTP Basic auth request.I have tried the same thing with JSignPDF and it works perfectly.In Adobe Reader I have set my timestamp server under Preferences > Security and my credentials also.The timestamp server is hosted on the Linux machine.Here are 2 screens. First one Adobe Reader, second one JSignPDF

Hey guys, my colleague and I have this issue with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, whereby whenever we tick the box "PRINT IN GRAYSCALE (BLACK AND WHITE)," to enable grayscale printing, our printer prints in colour (pink, to be exact).  We have no issue with this when we use it on another program, so it's not the printer issue. Can someone help us to fix this issue? Thanks.

Hello,I have a problem with printing pdf via Acrobat Reader. Chrome, edge, and others all are ok, but I can not switch to chrome because this program is used by my client (licency), so I have to make it work here.When I print PDF (9+ pages; generated via puppetter/chromium) using Acrobat Reader, always after few initial pages which are ok, suddenly printer starts to print empty pages or with missing elements (added screenshots).I found out that it is not happening on all printers (for instance my coworker got epson printer and everything is ok - but it is like one printer working vs 10 with printing problems).I thought that it could be a new release problem so I checked AR version from September 2020 but problem still exists. Then tried to update AR, tried to reinstall printer drivers, PC turn on/off (of course), reinstall AR. Nothing works.Has anyone encountered such a problem? Or have any idea why this is happening?I will appreciate any help!!In attachments:- three jpg photo examples

I'm wanting a good file reader for my emails.   Does Adobe have that?  I haven't used Acrobat Reader for a while, so I don't know if it will do the job.   Just asking your opinion.  A new file reader costs.Thanks.   Dianne.   severs54@eastlink.ca 

After a recent windows update, I can't print a jpeg to PDF without 3/4 of the middle printing white.  Help please
