Acrobat Reader

Sometimes, open the  PDF, the Acrobat Reader DC will frozen and white out on win10, need to logout and login again, then open such PDF again, it's normally.  Why and how to solve?  Thanks! The Acrobat Reader DC could not be closed or killed, need to logout and login win10 again, then it will become normally.  Tried to update and re-install the reader, it's still the same issues. The Acrobat Reader DC version is listed on below. Adobe Acrobat Reader DCVersion: 2019.010.20098win10: 1903 18362.535 

Hi,We are facing an issue with Acrobat Reader DC when clicking on the envelope in the reader.The issue I am looking into is for a customer of mine.The issue is for all users on a Citrix multi-user environment.Latest version of Acrobat Reader DC is installed.Windows Server 2016 StandardOffice 2016 (16.0.13127.21210, Click-To-Run, 365) When a user clicks on the envelope a mail is opened with as subject the name of the PDF file but the PDF is not attached.User closes the email and the Reader is frozen.  It is not possible to get the reader back and you need to close it using Task Manager.What was done:- Repair Reader.- Uninstall Reader, cleanup tools and reinstall Reader.- Repair Office.- AV was disabled.- Appsense security tools have been disabled.None of these actions helped.Does anybody have any suggestions please?Thanks,Stefaan

Hi! I can no longer open PDF files with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC anymore, and not even the application itself. I have to open them with my browser. I have tried most things, but nothing works. Adobe support couldn't help me either when I let them control my computer. Is there any way i can retrieve my data in my adobe reader old version? Ive logged in with my gmail account all the time

This may sound crazy but Acrobat Reader just got removed from the vast mojority of my organizations computers. Has anyone had this issue.

I have an application that does simple automation of Microsoft Word via COM calls - I can open a document, merge application data, and either let the user review & print or execute and print silently. However, many of my customers use fillble PDF forms generated by a third party.  I would like to automate these forms in a similar fashion to save users the hassle of re-keying data that's already entered in my application.  I don't need to edit the PDF itself - just fill in the edit fields and check boxes. What would I need in order to do this?  Is there a SDK of COM calls for automation, and if so, is there a way to identify and retrieve the names/handles of all of the fill-in fields & checkboxes on a PDF?  Alternatively, is there an ActiveX component that would enable me to do something similar? As things stand, I've been creating Word documents patterned after my customers' PDF files, but that is a horribly tedious and imprecise exercise.  PD

Hello, This is in regards to a certain Adobe Issue that I am facing. When using InDesign there are something's that adobe acrobat acrobat dc 2019 fails to pick up. For instance if there is a super script in the InDesign file the pdf sometikes fails to incorporate it in the pdf and the same thing happens to  figures in the chart. Some time it pick up old chart files figures. Do let us know if there is some bug in the Adobe PDF system. As this has been a recurring issues. Hi I have created a PDF in Adobe Reader. It's an A4 sheet but with with A6 templates displayed (2 along the top and 2 along the bottom). I have added cutting lines but exactly measuring where half way is along the top and side. When I go to print I have selected to print it borderless. However, when it prints out I am still finding that the cutting marks on the page are not coming out on the page at the exact half way marks along the top. The cutting marks along the side are okay though. I would appreciate if you could help, as I want to ensure once these are cutting up they are all A6 size and this doesn't seem to be working for all of them at the mo. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

I am very confused with this Acrobat Reader 8 and higher. I am trying to fill a form that was downloaded and its asking it needs this Acrobat reader. i have purchased several Acrobat pro etc. but it is just not working I am so frustrated. But getting No help. Time too is of the essence.Thanks 

I am trying to send a document to be signed by someone and everytime I try to attach the pdf, it says that the file is not supported. How do I fix this so I can get this signed as soon as possible.

I need help.  I have Adobe Reader saved on my MacBook Pro and I use Chrome.  Everytime I want to download a document to use with my students, it automatically saves this document in Adobe Reader.  I do not know how to export it to my computer (where I would like it to save and not in Adobe Reader) so I can use the document with students. I'm frustrated by the fact I may have to pay to export this as a pdf, etc. in order to use the document.  I didn't have this issue with it saving to my computer before adding this product to my computer because of work related situations.   How can I stop my documents from automatically downloading and saving in the Adobe Reader platform?

Afternoon All, Try to solve a user problem in the following environment: Server 2016 RDSOffice 2016 - 16.0.5122.1000Adobe Reader DC - 2021.001.20145 I have a PDF that is opened from a network location. When click email, it opens the draft in Outlook but never attaches it. Adobe then locks up and I need to end the process. Copying the same PDF to the desktop and following the same steps works fine, no issues. I have rebuilt the users profile twice. On both occasions is works a few times, but on log off and back on it starts failing again. I've reinstalled / repaired the Adobe install, no help. Any ideas? Rick

Hey, I have made an interactive PDF in InDesign and everything seems right there until I open it with Acrobat DC Pro. The videos play when I click on them, but the controls aren't showing. Even though I made sure to have InDesign Version 14.03, an MP4 video and selected PlayOverAll as controler. When I preview the page on InDesign I can even see the controler. But not in Acrobat DC Pro.The annoying thing is, that it is for my Portfolio and not even my Professor has a control bar when viewing the videos in the pdf. Which gives a bad impression of me when I would send it to clients.

Hi there! Im generating customer invoices as HTML and would love to print these invoices to a PDF for eMail.Printing to PDF from any browser (Firefox, Chrome etc) always results in that some (!) not all texts in the invoice gets converted to an image. I would like all text to be actually text! Any ideas how to get all text as text when printing to file? What am Im doing wrong? Thanks in advance!  

Hi.I try to send a pdf, no matter what size, with Adobe Reader DC by clicking the "MAIL" Button. Now it takes up to 2 Minutes till the Email will be sent with Outlook 2016. What is the problem? If i drag and drop the file in a mail, everything works fine.I am suffering!Regards

Hello, I am attempting to open a fillable pdf on an iphone and iPad using Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF downloaded from the app store. when i attempt to open the pdf it says "This form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for Mac or Windows". Does anyone know of a way to open a fillable pdf on an iPhone or ipad when this message is given?  Thank you

hello, i updated my system to big sur and now my adobe pdf is not opening. Please help me get this to open. i cannot open any documents. it is quitting unexpectedly and saying that i do not have permission to open the application "adobe acrobat"

Alright hello everyone.  So I'm in a new environment, and my past experience with deploying Adobe DC products does not apply here.  I am taking over the Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC product deployments, and something is not working and I cannot put my finger on it. Using the Customization wizrd, I built my install to not even install the ARM service, I dropped the row from teh direct editor, and it is working as expected.  However, it only works as expected if its a clean install.  If My deployed version has to uninstall a previous version first, when it installs the new version, it also installs the ARM service. I verified the ARM service was not installed prior, and if I run my deployment with no previous versions, it does not install the ARM service.  This is how I need it to work.  Has anyoen seen this before?  What am I doing wrong?  Thanks in advance.
