Acrobat Reader

I feel like I'm loosing my mind! I've been doing the same thing over and over and over and over for years and years and years....When I create a document and name it: Invoice #21023 Waiver 2.11.21I have ALWAYS just hit return and it would add .pdf to the end of it, AUTOMATICALLY.Now all of the sudden...it's saving as a .21 document, which is obviously nothing... Is this a setting or a change to the software?Ugh, I've done it for so long, I can't seem to remember to stop doing that and add .pdf to the end of all my documents. Remember, I've got a digital filing system that's been consisten for years - if I start putting the date somewhere else, it's going to make things very difficult for me to manage between clients.

I'm working in a organisation and we had to disble this Button in the new Adobe Acrobat DC. Is there a regkey we can use?

After the latest update in the morning, Acrobat reader DC does not print anymore. The message says "Il documento non può essere stampato", the document cannot be printed.Strangely enough, it gives Acrobat installed as:Acrobat installato: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exeVersione: 21.1.20135.421056Data di creazione: 2021/02/02Ora di creazione: 06:49:20 Do you have any clues about how to solve the problem? Hi, I am unable to install Acrobat Reader DC. It says (new version already installed). I dont have any version installed and therefore I am having issues. I tried several things but failed so far. I am attacking screenshots for your reference. kindly help.Thanks and regards.

Hello, We have Adobe on Citrix environnement VDI. We use Windows 2012R2 as master and we face an issue with the lastest version of adobe reader. We have bugs like first screenshot :Something went wrong. And when we open Adobe reader it's ok but when we open any pdf, the software is completly stuck/freeze, we need to open task manager and kill it. (second screenshot, you can't view but it's stuck we can't zoom, can't up or down, can't add text or underline etc etc) In fact we open the pdf you can zoom dezoom up dwon etc for 2 seconds and after that stuck/freeze for infinte time.Do you face this issue? Regards 

Hello, I was working on filling in a dynamic PDF Questionnare for an application process. It worked perfectly fine to download and save the file, and I had no issues saving, reopening, and editing the document the first 4 or 5 times I worked on it. It is a large PDF as part of a rigourous application prcoess, and I spent over a week doing work on it already. I need to be able to repair this file as I do not have time to start from scratch. My Adobe Reader is up to date, and I attempted to repair the installation, which did not help. I have no issues opening any other PDF's on my desktop or in Adobe Reader, so I assuming the file is corrupted. Assitance repairing the file as soon as possible would be unbelievably helpful, please!!

Hello,  Using Acrobat Reader DC 2020.013.20074 the option to 'enable playing of 3D content' is greyed out under 3D & Mulitmedia in Preferences. How can we get this option back? We can't enable it, and also the yellow banner asking to trust this document keeps reappearing constantly.

Is there a way to auto fill an excel document with info inputted onto an Adobe document? I'm in charge of managing and tracking my organizations purchases. Right now, anyone that would like to make a purchase has to input the same information on multiple documents and websites and I know there's got to be an easier way to get all of this info inputted into all the systems without having someone take the time to input all of it. 

I'm currently filling out a larger document with several drop down fields. Most of them work fine, but there are two that do not allow me to select anything. Nothing.As they are mandatory, and the document is used for an application, I cannot proceed in that application due to the auto-checker telling me that both those mandatory drop down menus are empty. Yeah, no kidding.  I assume that I am simply not hitting a prerequisite for those fields or that they are not recognising me having filled out the previous step.  I'm really at my ends and don't know how to proceed - is there any way I can manually delete the drop down fields and write the information in there myself? Or can I save the document without as some kind of print document in a way that the auto-checker won't notice that I did not fill out those two fields?

It's a fillable immigration form, the problem I've ran into is not all the fields are fillable as they should, for example for flling in an address I select that it's an apartment but it won't let me fill in the apartment number. This seems to be a problem with Macbooks and these fillable pdf forms, I do not have this trouble in PC.  I'm currently on an m1 macbook. any help appriciated!

Hi, I prefer typing up equations and explanations on a word processor, in this case, it's Google Doc. There is an add-on that I use very often called Auto-LaTeX Equations that allows me to type equations using LaTeX code, and then using that extension to convert the typed-up equations into images of equations. In the Google Doc linked below, you can see that all pages in that document contains the images of the equations that I typed along with a hyperlink to that image. Whereas in the attached PDF, only the first ten pages of the PDF file contains images of the equations, and the rest of the pages contain substantial blank spaces with only the hyperlink to the image if you click on the blank space. I need the images to show up in the PDF in order for my professor and the grader to grade my assignment fairly. I've scoured the web reading everything I could in a couple of forums (Google's and Adobe's) to try to fix this problem. Some solutions I've tried that gave me unsuccessful r

I just downloaded the latest version of Reader (20035) on a new computer. Now my pdf files with images show as gray pixels. I've tried several different pdf files. I've tried some of the same files on another windows 10 computer with the same version installed. Everything looks fine there.

I just replaced a Toshiba laptop with a new Lenovo laptop, and cannot print a PDF document. I have contacted Geek Squad, Lenovo, and Epson, and have not been able to resolve. Epson provided me with driver and network downloads, but still not able to print PDF. Any other items will print just fine. So who can provide a solution. I should mention that when I click on print for the PDF, the printer just spits out page after page of gibberish at the top of the page. Sometimes 2-3 lines. Sometimes 8-10 lines.I have to turn the printer off in order to get it to stop.I am frustrated to say the least. Thanks in advance for your help. 

Hi all, I recently moved files over to a server which is using DFS and can only open one PDF at a time unless I turn off Sandbox Protection. This is happening to everyone and I've narrowed it down to be an issue with Adobe Reader and DFS. That being said: Is Sandbox Protection worth having on?Has anyone else had this issue and were you able to resolve it?Thanks

Hey everyone, We have a HP Desingjet T790 that is shared with our server (windows server 2019). Since we updated driver and firmware, we have the following issue: In the print preview, the dokument is centered on the sheet:The actuall print however looks like this:These are the print settings used:First I thought this was a printer issue, but the strange thing is, that if I print the same file on the same printer with the same settings form Foxit Reader, the print looks like it should. I'm really greatful for any help or hints!-Tobi

hello my comptuter is an IMAC OSX version high Sierra 10.13.6. when I open a pdf file with acrobat reader DC I got thsi message failed opening rster file or this one failed "filter". my printer is a brother DCP-7045N. I proceeded to a software update of this printer without any success, still impossible to print. But if i try to print the document as an image it works. Can you help me. I called brother support without success to solve the problem.

I ams o frustrated. I save a lot of documents from web or print as PDF and save to separate disks (not hard disk) with my computer.  ALL of them come up with error as damaged or invalid.  I have used two "recovery" software programs.  One failed miserably, the other gave me a "root object" missing error.WTF is going on that all my PDFs are inaccessible.  Is it my security stuff (AVAST)?I have lost so much important info.When I look at the PDFs they are only 32KB or 64KB in size.Is there any other solution other than trying all the recovery programs out there?J

when printing off my email and saving to pdf for printing some file are oversized and are longer than the width of the paper.   I have to reprint several times after reducing the the size of the text several times to make it fit.  Is there a function that does this automatically.  thanks

Hi, I did an upgrade from win7 to win10. Adobe Reader no longer opens. I click on pdfs or the program, it runs in the background, but it does not open. I tried to give firewall permissions, to do a clean reinstallation with cleaner tool, but nothing. With the clean installation it works the first time and the next time at the pc restarts... the same problem. Help!
