Acrobat Reader

Ok Adobe or at least I think it is from Adobe is a dding a "AdobeARM.msi" file to my computer everyday.  It is flag by Immunet as virus/malware.  It is loaded in my C:\ProgramData\Adobe\ARM\S\20673 another file loaded at C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Adobe\ARM\S\BITBC67.TMP yet another C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\IE\7T1K7LRX9\AdobeARM_1824406920[1].msi I submitted some of these files to www.virustotal.com and only ClamAV (Immunet) has flag it as Virus/Maware.  So I don't they they are Virus BUT the question remains.  Why is Acrobat Reader and  Manager loading files everyday on my computer??? Can any one tell me what are these files for?? P.S my task Task Manager said Acrobat Reader and  Manager runs in the back ground all the time so I think it is from them.  thanks

Hello,I made a bunch of comments in a PDF file using the "Add sticky note" annotation.  Now whenever I open the PDF, all the sticky notes automatically show up, obscuring the actual file I want to read.  Is there a way to hide these comments?

In having searched online including this forum, I have as yet been able to figure out why (not unlike so many others) I have been unable to connect to my Gmail or another email account from Adobe Reader dc to attach and send a PDF file attachment using the send file by email menu item or icon. For whatever reason, whenever I try to sign in, I receive a display window stating 'Couldn't sign you in. This browser or app may be insecure' followed by the Adobe Reader message 'Authentication failed. Please verify your user name and password'. Believe me when I say I have tried virtually every suggestion I have read to date regarding this issue and nothing has worked to resolve this matter. Ironically, I have no problem opening my Gmail, Thunderbird, or server email account, attaching a PDF, and sending the email to the party intended as this works without fail each and every time. I am creating a fillable pdf that will be available on a shared drive for internal users.  I want to set it up so that anyone can fill it out but it requires them to Save As so that they dont mess up the master copy. I have googled and searched forums and cant figure out how to do it!  I dont know if it matters but I am creating it in Adobe Acrobat DC.  Most users will have Acrobat Reader.

We are having an issue in our Citrix Published Desktop environment (v7.15) where Adobe Reader randomly crashes with the error message invalid plugin detected. Does anyone know if Adobe Reader DC requires access to adobe.com or even access to the internet? We have a firewall rule that blocks adobe.com currently. 

Hi all,I have Google'd this issue, which seems to be a common problem, however the only way, like others, I can get Reader to work seems to roll back to an earlier version. I have tried things like disabling reader's "Protected" mode which does not work. I have tried not opening a document at all and just letting the app start and just run without doing anything, but it still crashes after about 30 secs, so it is not a document issue. I have tried re-installing Reader 11 as well as re-installing XP SP3, but it makes no difference. I have also tried several times running Reader DC but that just crashes as well. The versions I have that do work are 7, 8, 9.5.0, 10.0.0. As for other apps running at the same time are concerned, it does not matter, it still crashes irrespective of whether it is the only app running or with other apps running. What is the best way to to sync the movement of a rotoscoped character to a new vector based background in After Effects? Example: Rotoscope a dancing character out of a beach scene and place them in a vector snow background. Hola, A raíz de actualizar el acrobat, todos comentarios subrayados de todos los documentos que tenía editados con acrobat han cambiado de color. Han cambiado a un color muy extraño que impide su lectura. Al borrar un comentario y volver a subrayarlo, el programa me lo subraya con el color adecuado pero los viejos se quedan en otro color. No puedo andar borrando y volviendo a subrayar cada parte de todos los libros en pdf. Qué puedo hacer? Muchas gracias

I've searched for this, but haven't found a clear answer. Will there eventually be a free version of Acrobat Reader for Silicon Macs with the M1 processor, or will Mac users who don't want to use Preview to view PDFs be required to subscribe to Acrobat Pro? So I have been researching and a current idea on a project has been majorily eluding me on how exactly I can accomplish it. The issue is that the project is going to be taking unstructured documents that come in, they will be scanned into a digital format from the paper (or from fax or email) and then an electronic signature will need to be applied to them. However, everywhere I read I see things all about Adobe Sign but it appears to be taylored for structured documents where the signature field is always defined and placed. This is why I am looking at the Fill & Sign feature inside of the Adobe Reader DC. It has the capability to sign a document, move that signature where it needs to be, resize it, and save the document. However, I can't seem to find the ability to use the Fill & Sign feature anywhere outside of the reader itself. Am I missing something? Am I able to use the Fill & Sign feature outside of the Reader itself? Or is there another way? Thanks.

When converting Scanned PDF pictures to JPEG they come out as Zip files.  Anyway to get them to convert to JPEG only?

Hi! I have been using Acrobat Reader for a few months now, but all of a sudden today it is not allowing me to type into my PDFs. When I click on a section to start typing and filling out the application registers me clicking that location, but when I start typing nothing happens except for a small noise for every key I press.How can I fix this?Thanks!

Hello there. I spent all afternoon searching for a way to fill and sign a legal-form type pdf with a digital id but I found no way to do this. I downloaded tons of apps from the AppStore and nothing did the trick. Is there really no way to do this via Adobe Reader on powerful devices such as iPads Pro/iPhone 11/12? I mean the 2018 iPad Pro's A12X can handle macos big sur but you cannot port the desktop Adobe Reader app to iPadOS?

I have a PDF document to be signed by three different persons. The last person must block the signature. However, when he tries to tick the box option that enables to block his signature, it doesn´t appear. I am neither the person who must sign or the person nor the person who has created the document, but I had written on it before it was signed by the first person How can I enable the blocking option for the last person who must sign? Thank you in advance   

I have a staff memeber that is having a No Error Popup when she trys to open PDF's in the Adobe Reader DC. I had her send me the same PDF's and I was able to open them on my laptop.  I unistalled and re-instaleld the Adobe Reader DC and verified it was up-to date and shes still getting the No Error Popup. Any Idea's on how to fix this?
