Anybody know the URL?What is the URL used by adobe to convert a PDF to a word document within Adobe software? I need to whitelist it.

hello, wanted to know if anyone knows some software to manage PDF files, such as a database, to sort by author or by size pag I have more than 500 files pdf and find nothing, there was a software named BENUIRD PDF but this is discontinued someone can help me?

I am trying to convert an excel document to a pdf.  I have tried printing as pdf in Excel I would get "Missing PDFMaker files." and an option to run the installed in repair mode.  If I click yes, it times out after 10 minutes and did nothing (and the problem is not fixed).  If I choose "no" then it closes and I have to start over.I tried the convert to pdf option inside Excel, same issue.I have tried to convert to pdf by right clicking in file explorer, same issue.I opened Adobe Acrobat Standard DC and create a PDF from file, same issue.this is a new Windows 10 machine with Office 2016 and Adobe Acrobat Standard DC version 2015.006.30119

I am fairly new new with Acrobat OCR - After Tools,Recognize Text, All in this file, Find all in this file to highlight all possible words that may need editing, then Find first subject, running along accepting and changing. I have been able to create a form that will spawn new forms from a template, and work the way I want it to. None of this would have been possible without the info and scripts I found here, hence this request.The auto tab function would be useful in the drop down boxes after entering the key data about each team. There are 5 drop-down boxes in a row, each of which must be completed before they can start entering players. I have made each drop down box read-only until the previous box has been completed. This is necessary to be done at the time, so that they don't have to go back at the end to find uncompleted fields. Hello. I'm working on a project that has rows of 3 text fields for which the values must be added and as a total for that row in a fourth field. This goes on for many lines. Something like this:[total.0] = [A.0] + [B.0] + [C.0][total.1] = [A.1] + [B.1] + [C.1][total.2] = [A.2] + [B.2] + [C.2] and so on.I wanted a script that calculated only the appropriate totals when one of the corresponding values was changed, instead of recalculating everything all the time.It was suggested to me that I should use a validation script, so that it would only run when a value was committed to that text field. Hi I would like to know how can i create a pdf file that when i open it up. i can choose from between different template/form. Like for example i have file A, B, and C. When i open the pdf i can choose to work with file A and then next time i open it up again i can choose to work with C and so on and so on.

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC crashes randomly in Windows 10 after working with several files. I have had this issue on multiple PCs and it has been going on for months. Today Oct. 31, 2016 I had a crash happen on a new PC and which has the most recent updates applied. I am opening pdfs that have vector files, raster images, and text in them from Revit. The crash occurs while making red line notes in the pdfs. In years past this has not been an issue. I am ready to switch to a different software pdf editor if this continues, since all work edited is non-recoverable if you don't do a save before the sudden crash occurs.

2 issues:1) if the file is large, it fails to convert it from PDF to Words, which was the whole purpose of me purchasing the Adobe Reader.2) for small files, Adobe does not convert the file in to an editable version on Words, however it just transfers pages as if they were photos and place on Words documents, which again, defeats the whole purpose of me purchasing it.Please let me know how if there is a way around these two issues, or how to get a refund for what I paid.Thanks

I've been using Acrobat 8 for years now; it has always worked fine, even if I have changed OS at least three times over the past 6 years. I now have Windows 10.Today I tried to open a PDF file from internet, and strangely received a message telling me that my version of Adobe Acrobat needed to be updated. When I checked the properties of the program, I discovered that it was version 8.0, whereas the last time I had checked it was version 8.1.3. I tried repairing the program, but was told that the Adobepdf.dll file was missing. I have downloaded it and placed it in the Adobe folder, but this makes no difference. I cannot update the program.Does anyone know why my version of Acrobat has gone back to 8.0, and how I can fix this short of doing a full reinstall?

How can I make a writable PDF with TONS of check boxes? I don't want to create each and everyone of them. Is there a way Acrobat can recognize them?

How can i use the highlighter in pdf allways in freehand mode and not only if the pdf page is a picture ? it changes between the textmode if my mouse cursor is on a text and the freehand mode if the cursor is on a picture ?it's much better for me to highlight the text with my surface pen in the freehand mode.Thanks for any solutions and help

I have recently been making PDF Portfolios but some of the documents within the portfolio need to be edited, however, whenever I click "Open Document" the program stops working and comes up with "Adobe Acrobat DC has stopped working". I don't have any other documents open either, as I have had issues with having to many pdf's open in the past. Is there a fix or work around for this? I don't want to have to recreate the portfolio every time I have to change a document.

Hi I have the following problem: it i make a note in a pdf with my surface pen and with the pencil function, and my notes includes some dots like i- dots and i will remove a part of the note, adobe remove not just the party with i wanna delete it removes also the dots automatically. for example the letter Bianca includes the i and i just wanna remove the B it delets the B and the i-dot! how can i avoid this ?need any help please!

Is the Acrobat that comes via CC the same as Acrobat Pro?

I'd like to create an action, using Action Wizard, that would allow me to downsample all imagery to 72dpi and apply a medium quality JPG compression. I am using both Acrobat DC and Acrobat 11, and neither seem to let you specify the compression settings within Action Wizard.Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I just spent almost $200 to get Adobe Pro because my previous Adobe Acrobat install was NOT working and I couldn't open ANY PDFs.  So now I have tried to install it with Internet Explorer and Chrome and I still get ..Error 1923. Service Adobe Acrobat Update Service (AdobeARMUpdate) couldn't be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.Verify WHAT and with WHO?

I've got two laptops - both with Adobe Pro XI installed.  Last night, I created a document action called Script1 so I could run some initialization scripts when the doc is first opened.  Things worked fine - no problems.Today, I opened the PDF on the other laptop.  When I went into the document actions, Script1 was not there.  However, it appears that the action is still running when I open the document.I can't modify any of the actions that are in the list.  And if i create a new Document action, double clicking on the action does not open a javascrip window.Any idea what could be going on?

Help!  I am such a newbie and I have tried to utilize the other posts which were similar.Here is the simple script.var C5 = this.getField("C5").valueif(C5=0) {event.value=0;}else {event.value=(1000/C5);}When I change the value in C5, nothing changes in the calculated field it just keep displaying 'Infinity'.I am using acrobat for the form creation.

I'm creating a form to use in an Ipad and when selecting a field I would like to have the Number Keyboard come up first.  How do i do this?
