Acrobat SDK

Is it normal for Acrobat DC to bloat files after commenting is added to them? I began with a smallish file (under 10 MB). It grew to 40MB and is now over 100MB after a few days. One factor: I sometimes use PDF Express with iPad to add comments. I've noticed some interference occasionally in going back and forth. I know that even in Acrobat Dc alone you get bloating but not to this extent, or rather I haven't seen this happen to this extent. Thoughts appreciated. Latest version of Acrobat DC Pro and El Capitan (both).

Recently reinstalled software from scratch, including Acrobat Pro DC.Received email-based review request from another writer -- when I opened the document, I did not get an option across the top of the pdf to 'Send Comments' back to the initiator. I know it was there in XI and earlier, not sure if it was in DC earlier. Thought maybe the other writer had simply saved as reader-extended with commenting on.Now, when I sent an email-based review today to a SME who is running Acrobat Reader DC, he also did not have the Send Comments option. I verified with another SME that it still *does* appear in Reader XI.I'm hoping it's just hidden somewhere in menus. Does anybody know if the option is in a menu somewhere, or if the functionality has been removed, or if this is a bug?It's like pulling teeth sometimes to get people to do reviews, so adding in one more little roadblock (requiring them to save the pdf, then manually create an email and attach, then send) just adds to the frustration &#1285

I've had periodic issues with Tracker for some time, but for the last while it's been working mostly okay.Haven't been able to *remove* email reviews, but can initiate them.Recently, they once again stopped being saved into Tracker. That is, I can initiate reviews, but they don't appear in Tracker, and the review requests don't save to my Sent folder in Outlook.Looked at the list of reviews in Tracker.... there are a *lot* of them now 🙂Tried to remove them (right click, remove from tracker, say yes I'm sure).... doesn't remove them.I figure my best bet is to remove Tracker completely and reinstall it. But... I don't know how to do that.Help?Thanks.

I am not getting an action tab in prepare form when I select properties in a field in Acrobat DC. I only see tabs for "General", "Appearance", "Position" and "Options" .

I am making a form to determine the weighted GPA of up to 9 courses and I want to find a way to have the calculation ignore a course line for which there is no grade (this may be the GPA of anywhere from 4 to 9 courses). I'm having problems entering some blank field on the letter grade export value that doesn't calculate to "0", which of course would skew the GPA. From the grade points and number of credits, I will have the PDF calculate weighted grade points, divide that by the total credits to give me a GPA. I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on OSX 10.12. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Hi,I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro xi with no problems, first time it never even asked for the serial number. A few days later, Adobe opened a window that said to Validate my serial number. I clicked Validate, but then it claims my computer was not connected to the internet. Clearly, I am connected. About two times it has taken me to the next step of entering the serial number, but then says my code was invalid. I would have to keep entering it in, and eventually it accepted it. I have uninstalled, reinstalled again and again. The last time, it worked perfectly...for about four days. Day four: the window for the serial number validation popped up again. I just would like to fix the problem. I don't understand what I am doing wrong and do not want to continue to uninstall and reinstall the product. Please help.Thank you,Kristina

Hi,When I converted a dwg to pdf (with pdfmaker in autocad) I lose the picture. I did a lot of testing and nothing works.(Reduce the image quality etc.)Only when I use "export" in pdf I RECOVERED my picture but I lost my hyperlinks. I need in   my final  PDF  , layer, hyperlink and pictures.Can you help me ?   I use  acrobat pro DC and autocad 2014thanks

I can create a .pfd file from my scanner or by converting from a Word doc.  However, when I come to read the new .pdf file, it automatically reverts it to a Word file that is an aberrant version.  Is the software faulty?  I have also been frustrated in searching for answers because Adobe only lets you find answers to set questions and there is not email or chat facility.

I want to OCR text from an image, but the document has headers and footers that are already in searchable text format. Acrobat thinks there's no need to OCR because it detects searchable text. I have to print to paper, scan, and OCR the entire document. Thanks!

drop down says, "please select a device"  but when i choose the drop down there are no choices. my printer/scanner is not there.  but i am able to print successfully.  meanwhile the "options" button to the right of the drop down is greyed out.

Hi, I do not see this issue answered in past questions.Being UK/Europe our paper size is almost always A4.Whenever I scan a document on Acrobat, it presents 'letter' size as the default size to scan to which crops either top or bottom of the document scanned.I know how to change the paper size and have read Scanning Letter size document results in Legal size PDF | HP | Adobe Acrobat.Surely I do NOT have to select another paper size to 'letter' EVERY time I scan.I set up a custom tool to scan to pdf so I can quickly scan rather than all the tiresome selections from File/Create/ etc. But selecting that auto puts it to scan 'letter' size.I used File/Create/PDF from scanner/Presets and set paper size to A4. This makes no difference to the scan from custom tool.I used File/Create/PDF from scanner/Custom Scan to set to native interface and product the printer interface when scanning. This only holds for one scan then resets and makes no difference to the custom tool for scan.Surely, surely,

When I scan for a document the scanning always aligns with the sheet feed.  The sheet feed scans in the middle of the glass in landscape format.  If I want to scan from glass, I have to guess where the center is  and leave the glass with equal top an bottom margins.  Printer is an Epson WF-7620.  Windows 10.

By visual basic and throughout macros word to create a PDF document to sign an electronic signature of the user . User to submit such parameters as needed, it can be used for n number of people. I use Acrobat Reader XI or Acrobat Reader DC. The end result should appear in the document rectangle in which ID the man his name and others data from the certificate of the signature.

I bought acrobat xi pro in 2013 registered and have been using it sense my computer broke now when I go to reload it all my account details are gone and my program has been given to someone else. how dose this happen. I have the down load instructions emailed to me from adobe with the product key which i have paid for. I won't be buying anymore of your products ever again. We are supposed to trust you with our details not anymore.
