Hard Drive on ASUS laptop replacedOperating system upgraded to Windows 10Reinstalled Adobe Acrobat X StandardDownloaded Acrobat Reader DCAnd, new operating system had Adobe Acrobat Distiller X already on itBefore the hard drive replacement, was able to create PDF's and, using the "Add Attachment" option in the left side menu of the PDF form, browse the C-drive and select files to be attached to the PDF.Now, after the new hard drive and the re-loading of the above software, when opening a previously created PDF containing attachments; the attachments appear in the left side of the PDF form but the option to "Open attachments"  (add new attachments) is grayed out and not functional.The option to "open attachments" previously enabled browsing the C-drive to locate files to attach to the PDF.Not sure what has to be done to enable the option to add attachments to an existing pdf formAny suggestions will be appreciated

I am trying to add a calendar field in a form I am creating in Adobe DC, does anyone know how to add this, I found the date field but does not give the calendar option to chose a date.

We have multiple users who have Office 2013 installed with Skype for business 2016 installed (a piece of Office 2016).  These users are unable to combine excel files with Adobe Acrobat, all other Office File types work fine.If we remove Skype for business 2016 and revert back to the Lync 2013 install everything begins to work again.Has anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if this is a side effect of installing partial Office 2016, since the SfB 2016 install creates all the relevant Office 16.0 folders. We cannot update these users to full Office 2016 due to corporate standards but I'm hoping someone else out there with full Office 2016 can confirm combine works or someone with just 2016 Skype for Business can confirm functionality as well.Thanks!

I have a computer in the middle of nowhere without an internet connection but I need Reader on it. I was looking around on Google and I found the link below. Is this the best link to download the complete file executable, burn it to disk and bring to the disconnected computer and install it? I know this is probably an ignorant question, I just didn't want to get out to the computer and realized I burned the wrong file.http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise

I have downloaded the installer but when trying to install Adobe Acrobat 9 on a new laptop it says the SN is invalid.  I have confirmed through my adobe account that it is correct.  Any help?

Hi, first things first. Assume I know nothing! I have never written code and never used Javascript. I am using Acrobat Pro DC on Windows. I have created a requisition form. In that form I have a field where people will enter two letters. I want those letters to be converted to UPPER CASE if they have been entered in lower case. In the field properties window, I tried to create a custom keystroke script. I clicked on the custom keystroke script editor and inserted event.change = event.change.toUpperCase() which I found in a forum. Then it prompts me to "Go To" and opens another window "Go To Line" where I am to insert something. This is where I am stuck. It seems like such a simple task I am trying to perform and yet....3 hours later...no results. I would really appreciate anyone's help.

I have a PC using Windows 10.  Recently to get rid of a nasty virus, I had to refresh my computer, which means I had to reinstall everything.  In trying to install my Adobe Acrobat XI Standard, I got the error message:Error 1335.  The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for installation is corrupt and cannot be used.What do I do?

That file has a button set to do two things: Open a new file in the same window, and close the current file.The new file is set to open in full screen, but when it opens I get panes on the left and right sides.  I don't want the panes to appear...how do I keep them from displaying?I'm creating the files using Acrobat Pro XI, and the files are being viewed in Acrobat Reader XI.Thanks!

when using an if(  ) && ( ) statement, is it permissible to test for two different conditions. Meaning, can I say, "If the apple is red, and if the car is blue, then..."? Or, does it have to be something like, "If the apple is red and the apple is large"?The below code is not working as I would like, and I'm wondering if the problem is the && statement.Situation: There are two classes. The calculable field is suppose to return the life insurance death benefit, depending on the conditions of the class and income. It is ignoring Class 2. When I save a file as a PDF and send it as an attachment via Mac Mail, the recipient gets the following message...Acrobat could not open "ABC123.pdf" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't decoded)."Any help would be appreciated.Andrew

Hello community,Thanks to try67 I now know how to put an expiry date on a single PDF printout.Now my boss has another task for me...;)Is there a way to define a field already in MS Word htat is taken over by Acrobat and when the PDF is printedit says "Printed on <date>, document expires <date + 3 (2, 1, 0...) days>As I said, try67 already gave me the Java script to implement a text field into a single PDF form,that does the trick. I have Adobe Acrobat XI.  The Adobe software was pre-installed on my laptop when I bought it.  I do not have a serial number.  However, just today a message appears on my screen on start up that a serial number is required.  I cannot start using Adobe and the website is no help.  Any suggestions?

Is it possible to extract a stretch of PDF (pages x-y) and preserve all associated bookmarks? "Extract" does not do it (bookmarks get lost). I've seen references to "Splitting" but that is not an option for Mac ("Split" merely creates a doubled window vertically).  Tried Printing the selection and saving it as PDF, but that's not allowed.Can this be? Is it really impossible to do? tx

HI there; I have the same issue trying to re-activate Abobe Acrobat 8 over the Internet, and unfortunately Adobe currently does not provide support over the phone for that version.  Please provide step by step help to try the "manually configure proxy settings" option that most of you guys have stated that works to solve this issue. We're trying to wrap our heads around an oddity we've been hit with in Adobe Pro X. We use InDesign to create newspaper pages, then export as pdfs, which are transferred via folder to our printing site. I admit up front I don't know what's under the hood, but suffice it to say it works - our pages have separated properly day in and day out as far as we know, until a recent episode. A page was handled exactly as all the others. Looking at the print preview, the four-color page had all four inks nicely represented - including the black for four color photos and considerable text. However, the pressroom says the photos arrived there with no black. The copy was there, but the black portion of the photos - which can be seen clearly in print preview - didn't make it through the system.Without inviting ridicule, we wonder if anyone can explain how we made this happen. It didn't happen before (using this process). It hasn't happened in the week since, despite dozens of pages and many photos. C

Hi,I use to be able to save a pdf document under save as, but recently within the past few days, when I go click on save as I get a blank box with four boxes in the middle and the boxes just rotate blue as if its doing something but nothing happens. Can anyone help me??

Hello therei see this issue answered by DOV but it is not working for me, any assistance would be greatly appreciatedIn my preflight pane i am setting everything as needed (at least i think so)I have created a single fixup named 'k to cmyk'And after i run the fix it does absolutely nothing to my 0,0,0,100 black text, not sure whyin the image i am 'OUTPUT PREVIEW' selecting the 'layer1 black' textmy layer 2 is already set to 30,30,30,100 which is what the fixup should be doing to the layer1 text as wellThanks again for any input, i have wasted hours over this tiny detailDave
