Acrobat SDK

Brandon keeps getting a message saying that ‘acrobat XI adobe could not perform ocr because this page contains renderable text’ when he tries to OCR a document in acrobat XI. When he tries to OCR the same document on another employee’s computer with acrobat 9 it works fine. Brandon looked online and the only solution he could find was to turn the document into a TIF file. How do I fix this so that he doesn't have to turn the document into a TIF file to perform an OCR?

Team,We are using Adobe Plugin for OCR extraction process in C# .net development tool.we are facing stuck and freeze issue with Adobe Dc while OCR process is running, Application which invoke OCR plugin get stuck and when i take RDC session on that machine then application starts atomatically..(not sure what was the issue which is resolved by taking RDC session of that machine)Can you guide how we can resolve this issue, this issue comes randomly, i mean there is no specific file related issue.Please suggest if there is any Patch or fix provided for the reported issue.Note: Below version information,Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Release (Perpetual) | Version 2015.006.30033Thanks

I am running a Paralles desktop windows 10 on my Macbook Pro.  Acrobat X Pro does not recognize my scanner. I can scan documents on the Mac OS10 side with Mac Previews and an application called PDFScanner.  I have repaired the Acrobat X Pro installation once.  Are there any suggestions?My Printer scanner is a anon MX870.  I've updated drivers reinstalled them to ensure they're current.

Hi,I was just wondering as to how you make a fillable form clear once each section has been completed.I have managed to make the form fillable, and each section is highlighted in blue, however when I fill the form in I want the blue section to disappear and become White.Is it even possible to get rid of the blue colour once its been filled out?Please let me know.Thanks

HiI have some pdf files(around 1000) and each of them have multiple files. Is there a way using  Acrobat DC (grammatically or using any feature or tool ) I can edit them all in batch to have an image at the bottom of each page ?

I am the sole user and administrator for my Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe DC Acrobat accounts.  I am prevented from saving, resaving, and editing fill-in pdf forms due to security settings on my computer.  However, to my knowledge I have never set up any password protected security protocols on my computer.  Can someone please help me with this problem?

I created a pdf fillable form from a word doc.  I have tested it and all of the calculation fields work fine, but then I go to post it on our website and all of the calculation fields do not function.  The formatting within the field does not appear as well meaning that when I created the fillable form I made theses fields to represent currency (ex. $5.00) and when I post it on the web it appears simply as a number (5) and nothing in that column adds up.Any suggestions?

Did I waste my time making tagging changes?I received a legalese pdf document to make accessible. It was a Word file styled so that almost all paragraphs were headings. Headings 1 and 2 were usually short text and Headings 3 through 6 were typically a paragraph of a few long sentences. I converted the document to pdf and made a few changes (not related to headings) and the file passed both Acrobat's and the PAC 2 accessibility checkers.Thinking about how a user might navigate through the document headings, I changed the Heading 3 through 6 tags into lists. My reasoning was that it would be easier when navigating headings to just listen to/navigate through the top level shorter text. This was tedious work and now I am not certain it was useful. The multi-nested lists may be harder to follow than if I left the paragraphs styled as headings. The file still passes both checkers.

I want to make a pdf accessible. The pdf is created using LaTex tool. I'm facing following issues1. There are mathematical expressions in a paragraph which are not readable using JAWS or NVDA screen reader. In order to fix it, I'm converting the mathematical expression (given in text form) into figures to insert alt text using 'reading order' tab but still I'm not successful in making it accessible as the screen reader skips or does not read in one go. Refer to the screenshot for the pdf structure.

I wanted to try out Adobe Export PDF, I bought it on September 2nd, I remember seeing that the plan could be cancelled within 14 days for a full refund. However since I've had it all it says is "you'll be able to manage this plan shortly" under my plans & products. I waited to see if it would change but it never did. Hi.Enfocus PitStop (13.2) plugin gives the ability to trace the modifications done in a pdf. To do this, one have to first launch the logging process of PitStop. Then one must "Enfocus Sign and Save as…" the pdf. At this point PitStop joins a signature to the pdf: "Certified PDF 2 Signature" So far so good.Then we enter PitStop edition mode and move around one vector path or set it a new color, etc. After that we choose "Enfocus Sign and save" (not save as). At this step, Acrobat send an error message "Fail to create digital signature"After that the whole history of edition gets corrupt.I made a short video screen capture to display the workflow.Enfocus PitStop Corrupted Certified Flow - YouTubePlease note I encounter this issue on Mac and Windows. This is now day two of this error code. We restarted our computer Friday uninstalled Acrobat then reinstalled and seemed to work fine. now at the end of my day it is happening again. my question is why is this occurring? and how do I get it to stop.

Hi there, I am wanting to purchase the acrobat student edition but some are saying that even though you pay the advertised price, to be fore warned that there is also a monthly subscription to pay. Is that information correct? Do I have to buy the product and then on top of that pay a monthly fee to use the product or is the subscription fee for cloud storage (which I do not need). Is someone able to confirm is the purchase price is all that is required to use the software or you have to purchase it and also a monthly subscription. I tried to ask a sales representative at Adobe by so far am on hold for over one hour and 20 minutes, so am trying to seek assistance through the forums. Thank you

Several years ago I received a PDF doc that included... how should I say, bundled / grouped pages within the main document... document within a document.  At that time I needed to extract the grouped pages (forgot how I did that). Now however, I would like to group (combine / bundle) pages within a PDF document to make a "sub-document" - is this possible?  Thanks in Advance!

Is it possible to duplicate a table with text fields and combo boxes on multiple pages using a button? The field types need to remain the same but the names would need to different so as not to duplicate the actual data entered. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I am trying to get info on which Adobe product to buy, have been on hold for almost 2 hours, don't know what to do.This is the 3d time this website has made me type in my question.I can't unselect In A Community but the Adobe search facility tells me Canada has no community.I think Adobe is wrong, but that's another issue altogether.My question is very simple.  I can now do anything Adobe lets me do free of charge on my Windows 8.1 computer.I will not repeat not ever upgrade to Windows 10.I need to highlight & make corrections in an Adobe doc using Adobe tracked comments/corrections.Can I do this free of charge?  If not, what do I need to buy and what does it cost how to I learn how to use it?Thank you, whoever you are.

Acrobat pro 9 suddenly won't print pdf except for print image.  Started within last 45 days after Adobe update.  Have installed updated drivers for Canon and restarted, but no change.
