help pls

I just got a new work computer and am attempting to activate my existing Acrobat product on my replacement computer.  When I enter the activation key it says its already activated....but my old computer is no longer in use.

I'm trying to "optimize" or "reduce" the size of a PDF that is 241 mbs.  Acrobat either crashes or endlessly runs when I try either of these (I've run for over 20 minutes with no results).Does anyone know if there is a file size limit to either or thee functions?  Or know another way to reduce the size?  Zipping the file won't work in this case as I need to file to fit on a device with less than 200mbs of space remaining.

HiWe have some problems resizing a PDF document to a smaller page size (f.e. A4).It seems Adobe Acrobat Pro DC creates a PDF document with a page size that is larger in width than an A4 document.We already tried the following things:We printed the PDF file to an A4 document with the Adobe PDF printer, but this causes all our form elements to disappear. 90% of all form elements are also not accessible anymore in the printed PDF.We tried to set the page size using different options like f.e. "organize pages" => "set page boxes" => "Change Page Size". However, when we try to set the page size to the exact dimensions of an A4 document, we get the well known error "Page Size may not be reduced".Finally we used a trial version of the MapSoft plugin to changed the page size to that of an A4 document.This works, but in our opinion this should be possible in Adobe without using external plugins. Could it be that we missed some kind of option in Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro DC?Thanks.P.S.: If

This would allow 3rd party web applications to open Acrobat Reader from a web page, using the specified web resource, and without the use of an ActiveX component.  Furthermore editing, commenting, etc. would be possible if the provided web resource is valid WebDAV class 2 resource. I have an org chart in which I'd like to change the color of the boxes. I think it was created in Word and saved as a PDF.   I could export it back to Word but I'd have to ungroup the object and recolor each box.Here's what I've tried in Adobe:1. Select shape (box)2. Right-click, Edit using MS Paint.3. I select the entire image. 4.  Click on color selection5.  Click Fill Button6. Object is deselected and no color change s made.Any suggestions?     Sue

I want to send a PDF form to customers however they can't assess the prepared form on mobile devices...I'm unsure if this is possible?

I apologise but I really don't know what I'm doing!  I have to fill in a form, I was working on it on my laptop (not Mac).   I saved it once to my pc then I guess I started saving it to the cloud.  After freaking out 😕😕 I did find it again but I can't seem to edit it??  I would like to copy it and put it back on my computer but I really don't want to lose any of the information so I'm scared to try it.  Can anyone help?  Thanks, ArohaI got brave and downloaded it--Whew!  It worked!!  So I figured it out.  Thanks anyway

     Hello I have created a document like and application for someone to fill sign and email back.   however when I try to send it though adobe it goes through the steps for the account and I enter my profile and enter the recipiants email and it seems to send it.  from there though it never gets delivered and I have tried many different types of email providers sucjs as gmail. yahoo, outlook. and notne of them receive the email.  also I never get any sort of error like this coldnt be sent, or anything.  so does anyone know what the problem is?

I would like to buy Adobe Acrobat XI and download it.  It doesn't seem to be offered on the Adobe website unless I've missed it.  Does Adobe offer this product or do I need to find it somewhere else?

I am using Acrobat 11 on Windows 7 Enterprise.I am trying to reply to the PDF comment of another collaborator this way:1. I right-click the comment's pop-up note and select Reply from the context menu.The original comment opens in a pop-up window, and a reply box is appended to it for me (See attached).2. I try to type into the reply box, but cannot enter anything.I have unchecked the Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) > Enable Enhanced Security check box. Still, I am unable to type anything in the reply comment box.How to fix this?

I use Acrobat on daily basis in a way that I build websites based on designs in the PDF files. I do like this for many years, but with new Acrobat version i cannot see font weights anymore. When i switch into editing mode and select some text i can see for instance it's Verlag 12pt but is it Verlag bold or semibold or book or light? I know i can open PDF in Illustrator and get the information from there, it's something i do now, but in the past versions of Acrobat i could select some text, click with right mouse button, and pick 'properties' and i was getting all the required info. It was longer than now where the information shows on right hand side panel but more detailed information. I prefer Acrobat as i can more quickly jump between pages as i have all them in one long PDF and it uses less resources than Illustrator. I suppose it may have something to do with fonts not being installed, but this was never the issue and i do websites were i have web fonts. And i know i can sync type

The"Create Preflight Droplet" appears in the drop down but I am unable to select it. It appears to be a  light grey and all the other options that I am able to select are black.I am using a new Mac that I just purchased.

I have a some forms that have been made and while I can get it all to work on my computer, others are having trouble saving forms and emailing them. I would have thought this was a pretty basic service so as you can imagine my client is starting to get pretty pissed off. How do I fix this?These are the messages they are getting.

My employer ordered my Adobe Acrobat Pro DC subscription so I am not 100% positive what was ordered. One of the reasons I asked them to purchase this option was for the Send and Track and E-Signature capabilities. When I open up my Adobe Acrobat Pro DC application the Send and Track option and the Send for Signature option is not listed under Tools anywhere. I do seem to have the Adobe Send & Track extension on my Microsoft Outlook. Any help or insight greatly appreciated.

Many PDFs we use have embedded/attached files. When viewing these I always forget to check if the PDF actually has attachments embedded.  Is there a way, when opening a PDF to immediately see or be notified that there are embedded attachments without having to Open Tools Attachments ?

how do you centre align text in a text field? Trying to create an editable field for a client but need text centred.

I have worked happily with Adobe Acrobat for several years. Now I have had to buy a new computer and re-install Acrobat it is not working properly. Here are the facts: my old computer had Windows 7, my new computer has Windows 10. My version of Acrobat is Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard which I bought in 2010. It appears to be 32-bit but I was not offered a 64-bit version. The errors are:1) when it creates the pdf the timeline telling me to wait because it is reading never disappears when the green line gets to the end.2) when I open the new pdf I find some (not all) hidden codes appearing on my pdfs, eg carriage returns and codes connected to the creation of boxes.3) when I try again to create a pdf I get a different kind of timeline which keeps on repeating the reading process. 4) I can't then open the new pdf until I cancel out the reading timeline and if I then open the new pdf the programme crashes, producing an Acrobat screen with nothing visible on it, and I can't close the programme.

I created an editable text field in Acrobat DC and would like to customize it beyond the options provided through the properties for the field. I selected the font and size I want but want to curve the text to match a circular logo. Does anyone have suggestions?

For a while I've been noticing some seemingly buggy behavior when I edit the text in a PDF. The PDFs I'm working with are generated by printing Word docs to PDF. Some things I've noticed:-Occasionally I will edit text and save the document. Upon reopening the document some of the letters have seemed to have disappeared. The remaining letters are still spaced correctly.-Sometimes if I paste text into an existing textbox, it will completely resize it, and if there were any lines of text below where I pasted, they get relocated to the spot right next to where I pasted, and their formatting is changed to match. A fix is generally not achieved by simply placing my cursor at the end of the text I pasted and hitting enter -- I usually have to do a bit of adjusting, or, I undo, move the existing box down, and type new text above it.-There are definitely more issues, but they are minor enough that I fix what I can, ignore what I can't, and move on.
