Acrobat SDK

I just purchased Acrobat Pro XI to use for digital signatures.  When I look at the tutorial it says go to preferences to st up digital signature.  My edit drop down doesn't offer this option and on the menu my last option is Combine files into PDF's while the tutorial says Get document signed.  Can anyone help? Called support and they couldn't help.

I have 10 fields that need to add 5 every time the field has been filled out.

I have a form I created in excel and created it in Adobe. One of the fields needs to be calculated by rounding up the Annual Salary (another calculated field) to the nearest $10,000. I'm not familiar with Java Script, so I haven't been able to find just the right type of code to put in place.Any help would be much appreciated.Thank you!!! Jaci

Hi!I am new to Creative Cloud.A business associate recently sent a multi-page PDF file to me via e-mail. The file is basically a series of scanned-in pages of a multi-page grant application form. The pages are all crooked; they need to be straightened. The blank form needs to be filled in as well. (Both text for answers to questions and signatures and hand-written dates.)In the past, if I received a multi-page form via e-mail, web download or scanned-in hardcopy, I would open each page in (older versions of) Photoshop Elements. I would use PSE to superimpose text on the form's pages. I would then be left to find a way to merge the individual pages into a single, large, consolidated PDF file. I could do remarkable things with PSE, but it was laborious.Now that I'm learning to use the various apps of the new Adobe CC, I'd like to know if there's an easier way to edit this PDF form to add in the text and straighten the pages. What can I do? Are there any demo videos to show how this is do

I am creating a fillable PDF and need to add a submit button, but the "OK" button is not an option, nor visible in my tool bar when I am editing/creating the form. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.Thanks for the help.Lisa

Hello,I do not know if some of you can help me, I have some technical problem with an InDesign file. This is a file that I have taken from someone else and it seems that even if the Tagged PDF option is checked, the paragraph styles are applied, the exported PDF will nerver include tags. There is probably an option that has been changed previously by someone else and I do not know how to change it.Hope someone can help me.Regards

Hello,I am trying to write a conditional if/else statement that puts a text value in a box 3 when specific conditions in box 1 and box 2 are met. Box 1 and 2 are drop down boxes with set values. I've tried searching all over the web and have probably rewritten it at least 10 different times. At one point I was able to get it working with only one of the boxes factored into the code but my computer crashed and I lost that part. Here's what I have:var n1 = this.getField("likelihood").value:var n2 = this.getField("consequence").value;if ((n1.value=='N/A') && (n2.value=='N/A')) {     event.value = 'N/A'} else if ((n1=='Not Likely') && (n2=='Insignificant') {     event.value = 'Low'}This would continue on another 14 times to account for the various combinations that can be chosen using box 1 and box 2. I have also tried placing it in the 2nd combo box as an action item but still no luck. Any help would be much appreciated.

downlaoded and installed ACrobat DC Pro and now I can't unistall Acrobat Standard v9.5 from my computer.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro that came with Adobe Design Premium failed to launch.  I found the original CD and reinstalled the program.  The installation went straight for the update (version 9.5.5)  which failed to launch.  What is Adobe's timetable for fixing the update?[Moved from the non-support, general, all-of-Adobe forums Lounge to a product-specific support forum - moderator]

When placing a signature with "Use an Image" under the Fill & Sign tab the signature previews but when placed a box with an X through it appears.  Is there a fix for this problem?

I would like launch an email template file (.oft specifically) from a button action. Is this possible? Or is there any way to embed the .oft files as attachments into the PDF?

I have Acrobat Pro 7 which stopped working.  It won't allow me to reactivate it even though that is what it is asking for.  I have removed it and reinstalled 2x and it; 1. Can no longer connect with the activation server at Adobe. 2. Will not allow me to use it in any way until this is completed.Do I have to get a newer copy of Acrobat Pro?  I was running on W7 and nave upgraded to W10

I just want to add a field that allows a date to be selected.  In the old program it use to be a preset tool, however I am not able to locate it now.  Is this a tool that is located somewhere else in the tools section

Hello, Is it possible to batch redact handwritten numbers such as banking, checking accounts?We have loan documents and one page is filled out by the customer for ACH.They supply us with their checking account or debit card info for payment.These are handwritten and so far I cannot get Adobe to recognize the numbers even though they are in the standard format.If this is not possible, can Adobe batch delete the entire page in question as a batch?Thank you, Paul

Acrobat recovered my previous document, and I verified that it had my changes, but then some other Acrobat license or agreement screen popped up and my recovered document disappeared and I was prompted with the file open dialog. I have looked, it is not in the "windows" menu list, nor is the recovered file in the previous documents list. I previewed the original file but it does not have my changes saved. I have not closed Acrobat yet, please help me locate this recovered file! I'm on Mac.

We observed on the release of Acrobat DC that plug-ins could not set tool icons for high resolution ("retina") monitors, and instead got a generic icon. With 2015.010 Adobe added new APIs in AcroView API HF version 0x000C0003, including AVIconCreateFromPDF and AVToolBarSetIcon. These work fine in the continuous ("subscription") version. We assumed that the API was not going to appear in the classic ("perpetual") version, and so it seems; we continue to get a generic icon. BUT we have seen screen shots showing a different plug-in with specific icons. They look like scaled low res icons, but they are there. Does anyone have any idea how to set icons in a way compatible with the retina screens (Mac OS) and the classic version of Acrobat DC 15.008?Additionally - is there a way for CC subscribers to run the Classic version of the app for testing, as the Continuous continues to diverge?

When we try to install Adobe acrobat 11.0.17 in couple of machines it fails with "Error 1706.No valid source could be found for product Adobe Acrobat XI Pro". The install works fine in some machine and fails in majority of the device.  I tried to run the AcrobatUpd11017.msp directly from package and it prompt the below.When i select the acropro.msi location from user source it works fine and also uninstall complete adobe acrobat pro XI and installing back it fixes the problem.We have not faced similar issue earlier releases.

I tried to load my adobe acrobat x pro program on my new computer that is running windows 10.  I could not load it but was able to download the trial program.  The programs works fine but Windows 10 does not recognise the serial number.  I continually get pop ups stating the serial number is invalid. Does anyone know how to fix this. I do not want to buy DC.[Moved from Comments forum to an Acrobat forum... Mod]
