Acrobat SDK

Hello! Has anybody ever had an issue with the "printed comments" wigging out on certain comments? Doesn't happen with every PDF but enough to where it's annoying and too many to go in and replace each bad comment box just so it will print correctly. I have tried every combination with the options available but they all do the same thing. Thanks for any suggestions! Oh... I'm running Adobe Acrobat X Pro v10.1.15 and I really don't want to upgrade to the newest version. The Abobe Acrobat 9 Pro that came with Adobe Design Premium CS5 package no longer launches.  I tried a suggestion to reset Preferences by moving Preferences from Adobe folder to Temp folder and that did not work.

Hi All, I need to overlay two radio buttons in the same spot. Is it possible to make the top one transparent so I can see if the one below is activated by another selection on the form? I want to be able to select the top button without activating the bottom button but I want to be able to see if the bottom button is activated underneath the top button. I'm trying to create an interactive piping schematic for a client. Using Acrobat's rollover buttons to display info has been incredibly helpful. I have been using form fields simply as text or image displays. I am sure this is not their intended use, but it serves my purposes.However, due to the the size of the schematic, I have had to overlap many of my fields and it has simply become unworkable.  Is there a way to hide a section of fields while editing so it will make it easier to place others? If not, is there some sort of layering option or script I can use? I will eventually need to add even more images than these. Maybe Acrobat isn't the way to go. If not, any other suggestions? I have checked the earlier answers on the forum and followed instructions re add new header and footer and choose 1 of n.It does not seem to work. Pleas help me add page numbering.Can anyone help me figure out how to add page numbering in  Acrobat X Pro?  I need to be able to add page numbering like 1 of 50 or page 1 of 50 or something similar.  I have 97 pages.Thanks in advance!

The Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro that came with my Adobe Design Premium CS5 package no longer launches.  I haven't made any changes to my computer and am using Windows 7 Professional.  I've tried to repair and modify from my computer's Control Panel and nothing worked.  I've also tried to download the updates from Adobe by clicking on the update for Adobe Acrobat 9.5.5. Hi All,I want to disable/freeze tool & comment pane in adobe acrobat x permanently while view/read pdf file, with that everybody can't edited pdf file which already signed or add comment.Please help.RegardsHaerudin

Having moved to Windows 10 I find that I am unable to open or save pdf on the local hard drive with Acrobat XI pro.  I can store them to an external hard drive and work on them there but not on the local C drive. I have tried repairing Acrobat to no effect. It says access denied but the account is a standard user access and even if I make it an administrator account it still cant access the files.Any suggestions welcome please.

I have a PDF form with many popup fields asking «Yes», «Maybe» or «No». I need a way to collect all the answers, and sorting them, all the «Yes» first, than all the «Maybe», than all the «No». When I need after that sorting of the three answer, is put this into a «Results» field with the contain of the Tool tips for each popup and the ability to add some bold text, between the three sorted answers.I was able to found some javascript in the forum here to collect the field data only. It does not seems to be easy to modify if you have many fields to collect/sort/extract.Any help or direction to do this will be appreciated.Thanks!

Morning everyone,New person here so apologies if this isn't in the right place or it's covered elsewhere.We're publishing a large number of information PDF's to a website. Preventing our competitors from downloading them and republishing them on their own sites is very important to us.We've been doing 2 things to prevent this. 1. Using a watermark, and 2) then restricting editing by use of a strong password under the properties tab. Encrypt all documents box is ticked, with 128 bit encryption. Putting myself in a competitors shoes, I've googled how to unlock a PDF and have come across a large number of sites where you can upload one of our secured PDFs, which then removes the password for me to be able to then remove the watermark etc. Just need to google unlock PDF to find them.What is the best way to prevent this from happening? How do I "remove security" from "encrypt".  I don't have a password.  I can open the document but I can't put stamp on it in "annotations".  The sender is not aware of any security placed on the document.Thank youDave

I am re-installing acrobat 9 pro onto a reformatted computer (that previously had the software on) but when I try and reinstall it tells my the serial number is invalid, I have been on the live chat and they were horrifically unhelpful. Please help!!

I am trying to bulk convert .tiff files into PDF using adobe standard version 2015.006.30033, However i keep getting errors on certain files. The only thing i could see different is that the files producing the errors have jpeg commpression. Does anyone have any experience with this or have run into similiar problems. The error says the file can't be opened or corrupt. Interestingly enough if i open the file individually it will open and i  could print the file to PDF. TIA

I am printing from a Mentor CAD application to a pdf file, but the file is not showing all the graphics.  I am using Adobe Acrobat X Standard.  My collegue is using Adobe Primo and it shows all the graphics when he does it.  Do I need to change a setting somewhere?

Hi, I have been supplied an 8 page PDF which requires a little editing.This has an embedded font, which although embedded is not previewing correctly.In the acrobat properties under the fonts tab it reads 'AvantGarGothBold (Embedded Subset) Type 1, Ansi' (also in book and ital) which is what I would expect for an embedded font - this shows in both the original and the re-exported amended file. However, in none of these documents does Avant Garde preview. I have a new pc but prefer acrobat xi, I know I can roll back the download on my old computer from Dc which I have done and I keep ignoring the updates but can I somehow install xi on my new pc? I can't see anywhere to do this in the creative cloud window. Any suggestions please?If not possible would buying a stand alone copy of xi work or would there be a conflict with the licence for the rest of my applications? I really don't like DC !

Hallo liebe Community,Ich möchte aus Indesign ein interaktives PDF erstellen. Da ich mit schwarzem Text auf weißem Hintergrund arbeite, möchte ich dass beim "Abspielen in Acrobat oder im Reader" der Hintergrund im Vollbildmodus automatisch auch "Weiß" ist.Ich weiß, dass man im Acrobat in den Einstellungen die Hintergrundfarbe definieren kann, aber ich möchte dass das schon im PDF eingestellt ist, da diese auf vielen Rechnern angezeigt wird und nicht nur auf meinem...Kann jemand helfen?Liebe Grüße,Conny Sasse
