I have been informed that digital signature is much more secure compared to e-signature, so digital signature sounds like a better option over e-signature.I don’t understand the need of a self-signed document which is valid on my laptop but when I want to send it to someone, the signature is no more valid! The message appears on top blue ribbon that one of the signatures has a problem. After talking to Adobe customer service, it has been advised that the receiver has to validate my signature on their side. What´s the point of having a document self-signed with a digital signature and receiver has to validate my signature! This issue is also applicable when requesting multiple signatures. I would really appreciate a logical response to this as this seems to be an important functionality. Please fix this as soon as possible or at least tell us the purpose of digital signature!
I am unable to send documents for eSignatures via Adobe Sign when I use the Adobe Acrobat DC application that has been installed on my PC. I am opening the document that I wish to send for signing using the ‘Adobe Acrobat DC’ application and then clicking on the ‘Adobe Sign’ icon from the task pane on the right hand side of the screen. I enter the recipient’s email id in the ‘To’ field and then click the ‘Continue’ button. I get a screen saying 'Uploading' but it gets stuck at 70% and doesn't move forward. This has been happening to my colleagues as well so I was hoping for any solutions to remediate this issue.
A few employees with Adobe Sign licenses left the organization and their user accounts in Active Directory have been deactivated (not deleted). As IT admin, what would be the best practice to retrieve and archive all agreements processed (initiated, signed, or approved) by these employees? Thank you!
Hi I am currently on a Free trial version and would like to test the Digital Signature (not the e-signature!!) feature of Adobe Sign. However the Digital signature field is not listed under signature fields. Does it only show up under a paid plan? Which plan?
Hi, I'm having an issue with Adobe Sign. We're trying to enable documents with multiple signatories to be signed in any order, rather than in email address order. All user guides list a 'Complete in Any Order' switch that can be used at the web form set up stage. However, this option is not available on our Adobe Sign. I was just wondering if there was a reason for this?
Is it possible to send a document requiring two peoples signature at once but the parties not see each other's email?
Hey there, I work for COMPANY A that is owned by COMPANY B - we have a group license assigned to COMPANY B. Company A uses one license for Adobe acrobat Pro DC to send out legal agreements on behalf of a client but the agreements are showing up as coming frrom COMPANY B who noone has heard of. I want to be able to change the automatically generated sender name in Adobe Sign so that it doesn't show as COMPANY B but as COMPANY A on behalf of CLIENT. Can this be done without all Adobe programs being affected? We would want this change to be specific to COMPANY A's license, because no one at COMPANY B knows what COMPANY A is. I also want to know if there is a feature that would allow our client to sign multiple pending legal agreements with one click, instead of e-signing them one by one. Is this possible? Thank you in advance for your help
Need a straight forward answer on this. I have spoken to several companies and they all say "of course we can do that", then after two weeks of beating my head against a wall i get told "it's not available yet". So here goes: Will Adobe Sign support the following scenarios: Upload of a completed PDF package to obtain signatures on various pages of the PDF; initials on some other pages, and "fill-in" of two pieces of information on one page. The fill-in has to be completed by the signer(s). What I envisioned was this: clicking a button in our app to upload the PDF to Adobe Sign, This may require an automated login, etc. Once the PDF is in Adobe Sign the user can select a template to apply to the PDF which ONLY consists of signature blocks and the two fields that need signer input. From there they can send the PDF for signature. Sounds simple right? Just my thinking. The other option would be to click a button in ou
We would like everyone in our office to receive email notifications when one of our clients signs a document. Is there a way to have this signed document notification sent to MULTIPLE email addresses?
I have created a word document (contract) that I then converted into a form using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Now I want to turn this into a template that I can use to send out for signing. When trying to create the template using the online version (I don't know how to do this in Acrobat) I get given the option of assigning to either signer or participant 1, 2 etc. As my contracts will someone times need to be signed by 2 people which do I set the fields to in order for it to automatically do it when I create an agreement for sending? Do I set it to the signer and then choose names when I have the email addresses or does it go to participant 1 for their part and participant 2 for theirs? I'm trying to make the process as fast as possible.
We have had repeated failures getting documents to route to signers whenever there are any non-signature fields defined in the docs. Posts on this topic are outdated, and the recommended solutions are not available in the current version fo Acrobat. The online chat reps were very inattentive and unhelpful (long pauses between replies...are they playing TikTok videos or something?) How can we solve this?
I must admit - despite having integrated to other oauth solutions that i can't find out how to get started with Adobe Sign API.The terminologies confuses me: I've created both an Applicaton ID / Client Secret token ... (API Application) AND an "Personal Preferences - > Access Token"But how do I get a access_token WITHOUT a popup window?I want to automate post of request of signing documents and don't want a user to accept each time. I looked at :https://secure.adobesign.com/public/oauth? redirect_uri=https://myserver.com& response_type=code& client_id=CBAThIsIsNoTaReAlmPBvPF& scope=user_login:self+agreement_send:account Which - in a browser - gave me a popup ... I've already "granted access on the API application ID ... Is there no way to provide the Application ID + secret ... and get an access token directly? POST http://api.adobesign.com/oauth/token? code=CBNCKBAThIsIsNoTaReAlcs_sL4K32wCzs4N& client_id=CBA
When trying to create an agreement in salesforce i hit an error saying this -- "Invalid user ID or email provided in x-api-user header". Can i not send to any receipient outside salesforce users? Can anyone help me this?Recipients
Hi, I am attempting to set up a .csv file to autofill certain aspects of a document for me upon sending to certain users. Is it required that the column name on the .csv file starts with "_es_signer"? How is the .csv file read by Adobe Sign and what determines the pretext to the field name? Example:I have a column "salary" in my .csv and in order to have it fill on send based on that column, I would need to name that field "salary". Would the column name "salary" in the .csv need to be "_es_signer_salary"? Thank you.
I have a document created as a fill-in that includes a required signature. This needs to be sent to several people to fill out for themselves, individually. The only way I can figure out how to do this is to send to each person individually through Adobe. If more than one person's name is put in the "TO" line, it goes to one person first, then the other (more like a contract that needs separate signatures). Has anyone found a way to get this done?
Hi, We have entities relation and data flow as below(1 OOB entity(Contact), remaining all are custom entities), we want to collect data from all the entities into one document and send to external users for their esignature. We are looking support for our below questions. Is this 'Adobe Sign' will support to collect data from multiple entities which are interrelated? Our main application record will have multiple child records, can we have data mapping for all these records into single document?Do we need to use any other Addon(DocumentCorePack from MSCRM-Addon website) for complex data mappings or AdobeSign itself take care? Can we get eSignature on only one piece from different user and remaining from main user on same document? And this one piece data should not visible to main user and vice versa. Is there any limitations in Adobe Sign for specific to Dynamics CRM 365? Data flow(entities relation in CRM): Thanks in Advance!
Dear all, I solve one of my questions how does work AdobeSign, because from other companies with who we are cooperative has offered to use Adobe Sign, but we currently sign all documents via Adobe Reader. Is possible that other 9 companies will sign a document via AdobeSign and we are as the last one will sign it via Adobe Reader or all document signed via Adobe Sign must be completely signed via Adobe Sign? I´m sorry, I found so many information about that and I´m confused about that. Or need I have Adobe Reader PRO for that? Thank you
We are using Adobe e-sign to sign documents in Workday. While the adobe document is open for signatures in the signers workday account, the document has a download button at the bottom of the page. Once you click on this button, the button opens up another tab with a blank URL but the form does not download. Is there a way to download the form? Why does the download button takes to a blank URL?Any insights will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance,RJ
Is anyone having issues with bounceback today?
I'm wondering how to streamline signing documents when I have multiple to sign. Each time I sign, it takes me through the signing process, then I have to click back out to the dashboard or my manage folder, click on the next one and wait for it to load, sign it, and do it again. Isn't there a way to sign a document, then once completed, it automatically goes to the next one to be signed instead of pushing me back to the beginning? This was a feature DocuSign had and its sorely missed. It takes 3 times as long to sign with EchoSign as it took be before using another e-sign tool. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I signed an Adobe Sign contract sent to me via email but I didn't get a copy of the document after signing. Does that mean the other person didn't accept my signature? I need to get a copy of the document but now I can't because the sign link says I already signed
I have successfully used the API to upload a transient document, use that document to create and agreement and have it notify the participant.I created a webhook to update my system when the participant signs the document. Everything works fine but the AgreementID and DocumentIDs provided by the Webhook "parameters" do not match any values returned from the API when uploading the file or setting up the Agreement.Based on current results, the IDs in the Webhook callback are basically just randomly generated and have no relation to anything. Sample transientDocumentID (returned when pdf is uploaded through API [ POST /transientDocuments ]): 3AAABLblqZhAAnpiRlTbjyqgKc7LeA3mKVVUVdtIote4eOsHbxebHYUfxyHhl60v0Crh1kYGd4yJsuHMPmZhTdWZwet0Jqh9vsgTsFN_hzZ1fhIx6_VmMU2zZyv_VEVkC4zUG21kZ7O4aglUI3ifXiy9EohYGZ8NNtaVCfivQeKmiEW5o3RIZAORHWlhW0lzGk_YyRqdfnzh8pETVzbJsOBRZdmK7UPPv0EAFuChplMp6HwlHw9DLXk4cKAW7BA8nD33XQ76NLSa5miZ0Xp3zmqGZEXVwaqNIBRoFmMpI_CGUHKgjD_An8Xgq9o7iduAO3b-Avmlz5cglbf4YIW3izMukKxdZm1Mq
