Page limits make zero sense in a digital age. My computer does not get full of pages, it gets full of bytes. I just had Adobe self-sign refuse to accept and certify a 3 Mb (megabyte, not gigabyte) document signature and save as read-only. The document is a journal, comprised of short text pages and zero images. In what universe is a 3 Mb document too big to handle? This is a major Adobe fail. Any suggestions (I have Adobe cloud at $700/year as an individual creator, so "upgrade your account more" is not a reasonable answer.
I have a document that is password protected that I signed using the iphone app. It is still showing in my documents "waiting for you" area. When I check it, it shows as signed. Not sure how to move it out of the waiting for you area.
Hi Adobe,Let me explain my scenario where I’m stucked in Mac desktop application, I have a mobile application where the private key is stored securely. I want to push the certificate to the keychain securely from the desktop application and through API call desktop app will get the certificate from the mobile app. So while pushing the certificate to keychain I am unable to change the private key reference to my C++ dynamic library (dylib) so that when I click on the certificate from the adobe certificate signing list, this dylib will get called and it will perform signing on the server side as it happens similarly in cryptographic token but I’m not using any hardware here.First thing where I’m stucked is how to list my certificate on adobe pdf signing because it is without private key, it is not listing the user certificate but i am able to add the certificate in login keychain. Second thing how I will give reference of my .dylib file which will help in performing signin
We all got new Apple PowerBooks with Apple Chip end of 2023 running Somona 14.2.1Usually we use e Signatur included in Desktop Version. This is not running anymore. A white box appears and Acrobat hangs up.Adobe Sign web version runs without any problems. This is our emergancy plan because we use actions for workflow and now we have to start on desktop version then open Adobe Sign to finalize. Anybody an idea? Thanks. And: happy new year!
I recently uploaded and sent a documents for signature. The form has some errors in it and I want to cancel it. I am one of the signers and the document was sent to me as the first signor. However, as there are errors, I want to cancel, but the option to cancel does not exist. Only "decline" to sign which will notify the other signors. I would prefer to quietly terminate the document and reissue it. Please tell me how I can do this. Thanks.
Hi there,Is it possible to customise the Home page and add a shortcut to a certain workflow? The process of selecting Start from library, then Workflows, then selecting the actual workflow seems a bit long. Any ideas on how it can be optimised?

How do I go about removing password lock for a document that was fully exeucted using acrobat sign? I don't have an issue with a password locking the contents of the PDF but I do have an issue with a password required to access the contents of the PDF. These files are shared through various people in a large institution.
Is it possible to create a recipient group through the API, and use it to send a signature request through the API ?
Posted this in the Acrobat forum first but was told to post it here, so just copied it over.I use a template form to send multiple documents for sign-off by up to 4 people at a time. Each person has their section to complete and sign. Since I use a template containing text boxes, signature fields and multiple radio options, I use the same template for multiple different products. I previously used the "Pre-fill" option to allow me to change the document's title for each iteration but now that is no longer available. The only way to continue using the template form and fill in the title as required is to add the title in the "Default Value" section of the text box. I cannot edit the PDF beforehand as the template is set up with a lot of radio options, this takes me a good 30-50 minutes to create. I cannot possibly do this every time I need to send the form. I would probably lose my job for wasting time. The pre-fill option was fine, why did you have to remove it? Let me k
Hi Team, We have a use case where we have integrated Adobe sign with AEM, since we are unable to assign the fields to the signer, we have two signer once the signer fills the details and signs the document it then will be sent two signer two but signer two is not allowed to fill any details he can only sign as of now.
Hello, I'm attempting to create a E-sign template that can be sent to 2-3 participants to fill out over the course of a month. An issue I'm ecountering though, is that the signatures are not being saved inbetween each session, where as text and other data are. Is there anyway for signatures to be autosaved after only partially filling out an e-sign document? Thanks for the help!
Is there a way i can fetch dynamic values from CRM and put it into this form fields and keep it as a template which i can use for other agreements. ?
When I am using Adobe Sign at work, it is always for the same document, a contract that is sent to other businesses. I would like to set up a signature template to make this process faster but I have been told by management that, in order to keep the signer's information secure, I must send a new copy of the file. My questions are:Is this even a concern? After running a test signature on the template, I was able to view (and send) the blank copy to another recipent, but I don't know if there is still a security risk going this route. Is there a way to apply a signature template to a copy of the same document, but not the exact same file? Thanks!
Hello, I have create a filable form and I am wanting a message to appear if the value of a text field is greater than a certain number. I have no idea how to get the formula to work. I have seen many other formulas on the forum but I don't understand any of them... Any help is greatly appreciated.
Good afternoon, I have recently been able to have access to the signature tools of the Adobe Pro and am trying to utilize the features for sending out files for signing. For whatever reason when I try to use the request e-signatures button in the acrobat online tool I am able to select a file however it never reaches the next page, it permanenetly loads and nothing else happens. Also when I try this through the desktop application I cannot access the feature without seaching for it specifically and I can use it, I am albe to input an email into the field, then when I try to specify the location of the signature field it sort of cancels and it opens the fill and sign tool and the esignature window is gone. I'm not sure what's going on.
My company uses Adobe Sign to have clients sign legal agreements. The process is:1. The Sales Rep click on the link to generate an ADobe Sign link to send to the client2. The Sales Rep then copies and emails the link to the client3. The client fills out the PDF and e-signs it4. The compliance department is notified of the signature. What I would like the Sales Rep to be able to do is: When the link is generated, the Sales Rep is able to fill out most of the available client information, save those changes to the PDF, and then send the link to the client to fill out the information required that the Sales Rep does not know and the client e-sign the document. Is this possible when using Adobe Sign and the link that is generated? If yes, is there a tutorial out there or a process that needs to be done? When at a previous company where I worked, they used DocuSign, and the Sales Rep was able to fill in the information, send the document, and the client could fill in missing infor
Hello community, I am getting an error mentioned above when trying to sign a document on Acrobat Sign on iPad. Can somebody help me with this one? Appreciate it. Daniel
Hi, I'm embedding the signing URL in a web view/iframe in my app. I'm wondering if there's any way to protect the signing URL from being opened by an unauthorized person. For example, can I pass a token to the URL or header? I don't want to use the AuthenticationMethod as it requires an additional step from users since they already authenticate through my app. Is there any way to achieve this? Thank you.
I have a template contract with 2 people to sign (employer and employee) We want to add an "approver" the only way to do this is to add them to the Participant list when using the template, however if we add them as number 1. it adds them as the first signer. and then it will not let us send to prefill because it is saying we are missing a signature because when we add the approver it pushes our 2nd singer to the '3rd signer' I am unable to add an Assigner to the template setup (our only options are participant, everyone, anyone or pre-fill) We do not want the approver sign anything, what are we doing wrong? This is so confusing to explain so i have tried to explain in photos. BASICALLY WHY IS IT ALLOCATING MY APPROVER TO SIGN.
Two users perform the same task in Acrobat cloud using the same workflow. The e-sign wizard looks different for each user. One can successfully prep and send the document, but the other person's wizard will hang on preparing. Tested with same workstation, same Windows profile, same browser, same (shared) e-sign template, same Acrobat license but different Acrobat accounts. The user having trouble can successfully e-sign send via cloud when NOT using a template, but this requires more clicks. E-sign send using the desktop client also works, but requires more clicks. We've tried rebuilding the e-sign template w/ different forms and they also hang for the one user having trouble. Looking for suggestion on how to change the e-sign template wizard? I couldn't find any prefernce settings. < successful wizard view > < hanging wizard view >

Hi,Can you tell me if we can set a default signing field size? I've see a previous answer 6 years ago, can you maybe give an update on this topic if someting has changed.Regards,-Jakob
I have been using the IOS version of the Acrobat Sign app for years, I have had to sign in again recently to the app. After entering username and then password twice the app appears to divert to Acrobat with an error message stating"Something went wrong" "We're sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again later" You try again and get the same result. I tried to get help via chat with one of your agents case number ADB-30732198-R0F0 but they couldn't help me referring me to this forum. They also suggested to use the browser on my mobile and use acrobat.adobe.com to be able to send documents for signature, however I get the same error message "Something went wrong" "We're sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again later" and still no ability to send documentsd for signature. My business needs to send a number of contracts for signature via mobile and for "in person signature" at this point this part of my business has stalled. I am very disappointed with the lack of support for a pai
There seems to have been an update that completely screwed over our forms. On the "Prepare a form" side, it shows all text boxes & signature spots marked as REQUIRED, as they should be. (These forms have not changed since March 2020). Now all of a sudden, when I go to "Request signatures", 30% of the required text box fields and signature fields are no longer labeled as required. I have to go through and redesignate them as required. This is a 9 page registration form for potential clients- I don't have the time to redesgnate the required fields as such. What happened? Why did this change? Also, I received the message "Unsupported fields have been removed from this document". So what happened between Thursday, 12/21/2023 and today? The fields were always "supported" before? This is enough to make me cancel our subscription.
