Adobe Aero

Hello. I built an AR experience in Aero and I am trying to share it with someone. I exported a REAL file and I am able to open it on my desktop with Aero, but they are not. When they try to open the REAL file in Aero the window opens and the name of the file appears at the top, but there is no content. They've let it run overnight in case it was just slow to load and nothing ever appears. The file is 9MB so it must have content. We are both running the same latest version of Aero (v 0.17.2). My only guess is they have a much more serious firewall and network protection than I do. Would that have an effect? Or is there something else I can try? The only solution I can think of is to send them all my assets and have them rebuild the expereince on their machine... which is not a great solution. Do they need all the 3D assets as well as the REAL file for it to open?

Is there away to make the boats within Aero move around the lake object. The animation included with the boats are just floating movements. What do I need to do to make the boat circle the lake and come back continously.

I have been trying to figure out how to get the Geospatial Creator. Apparently it is a link that I have to download? I have tried the advice from previous posts but some of these posts are over a year old and no longer are applicable.  Does anyone have a link that is functional? Thanks,JOs 

We want to aim an iPad at a real object and have the iPad display a digital shadow cast from a virtual light source. How can this be accomplished using this tool? Thanks for thoughts and suggestions!

A .glb file that previously opened without any issues in Adobe Aero is now failing to load. This file has not been modified and remains structurally identical to the version that worked before. It opens correctly in other tools such as glbviewer.net and Blender, indicating the issue is specific to Aero—potentially introduced in a recent app update.

I wanted the item to move back and forth but that option box is greyed out.  I could not find any details on this behaviour. What criteria is required for the "back and forth" box to be available ?

I have NEVER been able to get this to create a link. Corporate account. Lots of missed oportunities that this would have been used for.

in stager und auch in dimension wird der export eines ausgeählten objekts für aero angeboten. der export auf den rechner als GLB funktioniert. um aber die datei in aero zu verwenden muss sie in die cc dateien. der upload funktioniert aber nicht - fehlermeldung:  "1 datei konnte nicht hochgeladen werden, bestimmte dateitype werden nicht unterstützt" damit geht dann auch die veröffentlichung mit web-link nicht.—system mac 15.4.1 (cc updates aktuell)danke für hilfe

I was working in Adobe Aero. I want to reopen a Aero project I was working on. I see it in my cloud but theres no "open in Adobe Aero" option.All I see is:Open in webPreviewRenameDuplicateMove and deleteWhere is "open file" or something along those lines?

Hello, need some help with Aero please. Aero is not working for android users. They are not able to download aero beta app, it says that it's in early release. Is this a bug does Aero not support andoird devices?The links from aero are also not working.

Aero has bug, I cant see Antthing, when I scan QR code, maybe Aero can't turn on camera in mini app.

So, Adobe Aero was officialy released in November 2019, today is April 2025.  over 5 years have passed and we are still in Beta?Is this software going anywhere?wouldn't be better to just remove the software availability and end it? so much promisse for no delivery. There is no information on this software roadmap or even if it is still being developed, so I will not expect any updates.Adobe investment in 3D, AR, VR, MR, XR.... it is very short of providing good results and tools, substance is the best one and it was not even developed by adobe (adobe just bought it).Adobe is only good for photoshop / illustrator, inDesign,  premiere and after effects and even on these you are loosing ground (I prefer davinci resolve to premiere and after effects) and even photoshop is loosing ground to other providers that have decent software with perpetual licences.

Hi all!Long time XR developer, first time Adobe Aero user (surface tracking beats all other webAR options rn - very nice!)I have a tree with an animation exported from Blender. If i import this back into an empty blender file, everything is there and works as expected, animation is looping properly after 8 seconds/200 frames. If i import it into Aero and play the animation on start, it always cuts off at 4 seconds.I checked the few settings in the Aero animation panel, the clip length is set to 8, speed to 1, no transition and it's set to looping. Even if i extend the animation to 16 seconds (since i thought it might be a bug where it just cuts the animation in half) it stops and jumps back to start after 4 seconds.If i import the same model as fbx, it works fine and plays the animation in full but the materials don't look as nice. Any tips??

I’ve created a commercial location-based AR experience using Adobe Aero, and I have a question regarding Android devices.According to the official documentation on “Available language versions for Adobe Aero Player (Beta) on Android,” only English is listed.Does this mean that devices with a Japanese language setting are not supported, regardless of the device model?Additionally, I would like to know whether the limitation is due to the device’s language setting (e.g., Japanese UI) or the device’s geographic location/region setting. 

I’m planning to shoot a live performance video of a musician using Adobe Aero with AR objects included.I’ll need to color grade the footage later, so I’d like to shoot in LOG.Is there a way to incorporate AR using Adobe Aero while keeping the footage in LOG format?

When will more devices be added?Just tested the aero beta, because working in a marketing office, this could be a great tool to use.But the lack of compatibility with mobile phones makes it a No Go at this point (My phone is not that old, and I can't install the aero viewer app).On my brief testing of the software, one thing I think would be good is some control over lighting, even if it is just changing hdris and environment rotation. Until this issues (mostly compatibility) are resolved, there is no point in even test it unless you have a an iphone or a recent somesung galaxy to test... but to make a professional work is useless. I.e. If I create an experience to be used in a museum, only a handfull of people will be able to use the ar. There are better options at the moment, hopefully Adobe will make this a great tool.

Hi I'm Andi, a 3D-artist based in Munich. I recently started experimenting with Adobe Aero and imported some assets from Cinema 4D. So far I haven't found a way to make transparent materials like glass to appear correctly in Aero. Is there a way to make this work? Most of the other Redshift materials I've used work great so far, unless there are some more complicated nodes involved.Another question that came up if there is a way to add lighting in Aero or does it just work with baked lighting? Would be great if there is a way so that the model catches the light and reflections of the environment. Is that something that's on the roadmap?Thanks for any kind of help. 

Hi everyone,I'm currently using Adobe Aero Beta (Desktop) and I'm having an issue where imported assets (including built-in assets) do not show up in the scene. The strange thing is — these same assets were showing properly before . Now when I add them, I can see their names in the Scene panel, but nothing appears in the viewport. And also, my previous project also show nonthing in the panel.Here’s what I’ve tried:- Delete & reinstall Aero- Restarting Aero- Creating a new project- Using different built-in assets - Checking position/scale (set to 0, 0, 0 and scale 100)- Internet connection is stableI’m using ASUS TUF Gaming A15 with NVDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU.Is anyone else facing this issue or knows how to fix it?Thank you!

I am new to Adobe Aero and downloaded it for an assignment, but when I go to create it will respond to any button except, starter assets. There is no response and nothing will apear when I click anything under it. Is there something I am missing as to being to use Aero? I have beta for desktop downloaded.

I have a question regarding how Aero does things after my license runs out, or I switch to a different account. I made a few AR-experiences with Aero for an important project (with active QR-codes). The problem is that my Uni Adobe license run out of time and I only have 6 more days of access.  My question is can my experiences still be accessed via QR-Code, or are they simply gone? And or is it possible that I switch to a new account, and can I have access to the experiences then? 

I'm experiencing multiple issues with Adobe Aero: Installation Issues: I’ve tried installing the app on three different computers. When I click the installation link, it opens Creative Cloud but does not download, and I can't find Adobe Aereo in the Creative Cloud app.Crashes on Publishing: On one computer where I had previously installed Adobe Aero, the app crashes every time I try to publish a link.Android Visualization Issue: On my Android phone, the AR experience displays as a black screen. I’ve seen others reporting similar issues, and I’m unsure what to do. Has Adobe Aero been discontinued? It seems like there are multiple unresolved issues affecting users. I’m giving a workshop on Adobe Aero next week, and I’d like a clear understanding of what’s happening with the tool and why people are having trouble installing it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I know people are asking about updates. Is there a time for Aero to come out of Beta? I attempt to teach it every Winter semester. As it's been stuck in Beta for the last century our IT department will not install it which limits what I can do. Why is it still in Beta?
