Adobe Fonts

Hi,I need some help... I am experiencing difficulties with the new interface of Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Fonts. It seems that the recent changes to the platform have made it impossible for me to upload or add an external font to Adobe Fonts.This issue is causing significant disruptions in my workflow, and I would greatly appreciate any guidance or support to resolve the problem. Could you please let me know the steps I should follow or if there is a known solution to this issue ?

Hi there, I've just tried switching from the regular Halyard families to using the new Variable family, but have found an issue with the Display family. The 400 weight setting is heavier than it should be – if I switch to 401 or to 399, the weight is correct. But 400 specifically seems to be heavier than the original Halyard Display Pro 400 weight. I've added some screenshots to show the difference. Not sure who to reach out to for help on this, so thought I would post here and see if anyone else has the same problem!

Dear Sirs,We have a counterparty, that made the opening credits for a serial film that we produce for TV and internet broadcast.The opening credits list all the participants of the film and the font used for this - Futura PT CondHe has an Adobe subscription and the font is included in his subscription.Accordingly, the Counterparty transmits to us the finished product, which is shown within our serial film on TV and on the Internet.Do we need to buy an additional license for the font mentioned above in such a case?

I tried to install a font called Hondafont in Creative Cloud desktop on my Mac for use in Illustrator, but it will not show up in the drop down font list in the Illustrator character window.   I downloaded the font here:https://freefontsfamily.com/honda-logo-font-free-download/ After going through the normal installation process for a font on my Mac,  I tried to add the font to Creative Cloud.  CC says it is installed: But it does not show up in the list of active fonts, and I don't know how to activate it: The font shows up in InDesign: but not in Illustrator:How do I activate this font for use in all Adobe products, especially illustrator? 

One problem I keep having with finding Adobe Fonts to use is that it seems like I can only search by name of font, not by keyword. Like, say, if I want a 'multiline' or 'art deco' font, searching by these descriptive terms yeilds nothing but fonts that might happen to have those words in their name. Am I missing something? I'm often searching the web for fonts via keyword and seeing lots of results, but naturally I want to be able to use an Adobe Font if I can, as I'm already paying for that service.  

I am creating a free to play game that will be launched on Steam. Can I use an Adobe font in TextMeshPro in Unity? I have seen conflicting arguments that on the one hand Adobe fonts cannot be used in Unity as I am creating a desktop app, but I also saw that TextMeshPro turns the font into a JPEG so it is okay to use it. What is the rule here?

Willys, here from Brazil speaking. Generally I like to always install the full Creative Cloud Desktop font families for Illustrator. Some fonts from various families suddenly in the Creative Cloud Desktop window started to have conflicting problems (I have no idea what this conflict is) and cannot be reinstalled. I highlighted an example with a magenta outline in the image. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? I look forward to your help, thank you. 

I have an Acrobat Pro Teams subscription with 2 licenses. Creative Cloud comes with it and it's foundry of fonts. I was very happy with this and synced fonts across all my devices, including iPad. It used to work just fine and I primarily used these fonts while using Microsoft Word on the iPad and Acrobat, etc...I'm not sure what happened a few weeks ago, but I noticed the fonts were not available on my iPad. When I went into the Creative Cloud app and into the Fonts section to re-add the fonts, I get the message "Not in your plan". Why would it be available on the desktop, but not iPad?Why did it work a couple weeks ago, but not anymore? There was no change to my plan... I chatted support and didn't get much help.I called support and got bounced around until someone told me that they don't support the mobile app. Adobe doesn't support the mobile app? I'm having trouble installing a font. It wont sync. Also my fonts icon on creative cloud is missing. Anyone else experiencing this? I tried restarting my computer, enabling / disabling the font, logging in and out of CC (both desktop and web). Not sure what else to try.

I made a static layout within Illustrator and it worked just fine, and obviously I'd then like to use it for an animated version, but nothing I've done to try and troubleshoot has yet worked (the usual uninstalling, quitting, restarting, etc.) Hopefully someone may have a solution. Thanks.

Hi everyone, I am interested in simple way to import a particular Adobe font (Garamond Pro Regular) into a different video editing software called Capcut. This would not be for commercial use — rather, personal use.I found the particular font available for download easily from a 3rd party platform called https://font.download. My main question is, will doing this violate any kind of licensing or copyright agreement with Adobe? I can also see that by setting up a Create Cloud account, the same font can be downloaded directly that way, but it seems much easier to simply download it directly from this free platform. If there is anything else I should be aware of in terms of Adobe licensing and use of fonts for personal use, I would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you so much!Susan

When I type in the  name of a font I want to activate, its name appears but when I click on it nothing happens. No filters are activated.

Hello. I have installed the Memoriam Pro font for both Adobe and non-Adobe apps; however, it does not appear correctly in Microsoft Publisher. The bottom appears fine, but the tops appear cut off. When used in Microsoft Word, the font (specifically the 'h') appears different as well. Is this a problem with how Microsoft apps display the font, or is there a way to get it to appear correctly?

HelloI am trying to figure out if I can use a single letter of a font in a digital art print for sale eg a monogram initial.   Font would be outlines, and in a jpeg format so not editable etc.The licensing states:"Can I use the fonts to make stencils, stickers, jewelry, or anything else that features a single letter or glyph?No. You may not create a product that is individual glyphs from the font files, e.g. an alphabet set of each letter to spell out your own phrase. Creating products from individual glyphs is not allowed in any format."

Wondering licensing wise, if I'm allowed to take an adobe font and modify it to look like sand like the attached picture? Not doing anything to the actual font software. Just making a word in photoshop. Does that break any licensing agreements?  

HalloImmer wieder werden bereits aktivierte Fonts nicht erkannt und meine Dokumente werden dann falsch dargestellt (Ersatzschriften). Wenn ich dann in der Adobe Cloud App nach installierten Schriften schaue, sehe ich nur minutenlang ein Ladezeichen aber keine Fonts. An- und abmelden bei der Cloud, PC neustarten und dann funktionieren die Fonts wieder. Das betrifft nicht nur InDesign, sondern alle Apps. Hat jemand das selbe Problem? Windows 11 Pro auf dem neuesten Stand. Ebenso alle Adobe Apps. Ziemlich nervig.Grüsse - Oliver

I have no problem syncing Adobe Fonts on Mac (Adobe apps + non Adobe apps) but when I use my iPad the fonts do not sync. I'm specifically having issues with Keynote (non-Adobe application). I never have this issue on a Mac desktop or laptop. There is no Adobe Font or Creative Cloud app for IPad. What do I do?

This question has been asked before, but there was no answer that worked for me there, so I'm trying again. I'm trying to check something about an activated font. So I tried looking through the list of fonts under the "Manage Fonts" section of Creative Cloud, but there's no way to scroll through the list; I can only see the first few names, and can go no farther. And all of the dropdowns under the font family names are fully open, so if you were able to scroll, you'd have to go past every "Bold," "ExtraBold," etc., each taking up an entire line. Am I missing something? This is quite useless as it stands.  I'm on an iMac, using Ventura 13.6.1. As far as I know, I have the Creative Cloud app updated.

I'm thinking about making the switch from CS6 and the OTF Font Folio (on old computers) to the subscription model. Access to the current Adobe Fonts catalogue is appealing, but there doesn't seem to be any equivalent of the old Font Folio manual where each font would be presented with icons indicating if there were a full set of ligatures (ff, ffi, ffl, etc., not just fi and fl) true small caps, and oldstyle figure options. If I'm typesetting a book, I can't waste time with fonts that are not full-featured. On the Adobe Fonts page it looks like we can search for fonts that have oldstyle *default* figures, but not necessarily oldstyle/lining toggle options. There seems to be no way to search for fonts that have true small caps; if I search for "small caps", I get a bunch of ancient pre-OTF hits for fonts with small caps and oldstyle figures back when they used to be relegated to *separate font*. I seldom look at the Fonts panel in the CC app, but I received an alert from Adobe that one of my fonts was going to expire ... what? Not that it was going to be removed from the Fonts.adobe.com library, but that it was going to "expire." So I looked at the Fonts panel in my CC app and saw a different interface that I remembered. There's a panel for "Expiring Fonts" and it said that one of the 100+ synced Adobe fonts I have, Elza, is going to "expire in 2 days." There was a Renew button, that I clicked, and it said "Congratulations! This font is renewed." and was remove from my Expiring Soon list.  What the heck is this about?  Also, on the left of this window, there are two categories, "Added Fonts" and "Installed Fonts." The category "Added Fonts" shows, I think, all the fonts I've ever synced, including those are currently synced. The "Installed Fonts" ...
