Adobe Learning Manager

If I want to easily see the total of a learner's enrollment, is running a report the only way to go? Sometimes I just want to quickly pull up someone's enrollment in the UI. I really do not need to configure and download a Learner Transcript. Thanks in advance.

Looking for a better solution than the one I've come up with so far. We use fillable forms a lot for things like documenting goals and mentorship interactions, which then need to be communicated to the trainers and occasionally managers. There has got to be a better way than relying on the Form Submission for all of this, right? With form submission, user responses don't pull in an excel report of their learner transcript, you would always have to go back to the original file upload. It would be a tremendous amount of work to switch all the forms into a captivate, but is that really my only other option to report on the data within Prime. I've looked into easygenerator (https://www.easygenerator.com/homepage-new/​) which does output a Scorm 1.2 package but doesn't give me question and response data within Captivate Prime.. Only pass/fail. Any insight, suggestions, clever workarounds are appreciated.

Hello!We have created a learning program with 3 courses, each having 3 modules. As a learner completes, it moves from module to module within a course no problem.However, we noticed that the Continue button on the Learning Program screen actually doesn't continue where the learner left off, but restarts the learner on course 1.Any reason for this? The progress on the individual content modules is saved as the learner can click on the module they were on and it returns to the slide they left off at. But, the continue button above doesn't.The average employee of ours will take the training in pieces while on the clock. They will intuitively click on continue thinking it will start where they left off.Any help will be appreciated.

I'm not able to upload a CSV file containing a list of "first/lastname", "email address", "title", "Manager email" and I wanted to know if even though my manager accounts have already been created, whether they would need to be added to the CSV file regardless of their existence. I get the following error proceeded by a request to select what the Manager's Id field contains, which is blank: tValues in the Manager's ID (parent) column could not be processed.

I am wondering if Adobe hosts user group meetings for CP admins? If so, where can I sign up? If not, is there interest in starting one from the community?Another LMS vendor I used to work with hosted these types of meetings and I found networking with other Admins in like businesses very beneficial when troubleshooting, problem solving, and finding work arounds in the system. We would also combine our forces together to ask for development items and enhancements.

Hello,I uploaded a course to Prime.I see it when logged in as Author and Admin.But, when I login as Learner, the course is not there.I've had learners in my company try to take the course and they don't see it either.Any ideas why this would happen?Thanks,Thomas H.Master Electronics

I have created a short course and when I view the ToC in Captivate Prime, two of the eleven content items show a question mark next to them.What does this mean and how can I remove them?

Hello!I'm curious if there is a way for learners to upload documents and complete the course once the documents have been submitted? I'd like to have a course that requires uploads then will allow the user to complete the course and move forward to the next course but only once they have uploaded documents. On the flip side, I don't want the course/module to be marked complete or move on to the next course if there is NOT a uploaded file.Thanks!

Hello,We are trying to build some extension to underlying Adobe lms by building a in house we app. We have done the application setup and got the application id and secret key. Now in the course of integration with Captivate Prime api's we need to do an oAuth authorization. There is a browser based URL provided in the documentation that embeds a redirection url -  GET https://captivateprime.adobe.com/oauth/o/authorize?client_id=<Enter your clientId>&redirect_uri=<Enter a url to redirect to>&state=<Any String data>&scope=<one or more comma separated scopes>&response_type=CODE. This typically works on a browser but not with a program - rightly so as oAuth would require re-direction. Also the oAuth code generated is pretty short-lived. So our problem is how do we, through a program, do a oAuth authorization without redirection? Or if there is no alternative to redirection - how do we increase the time span of oAuth token so our api's work synch

Hi All,I have created a classroom session for a course provided by an external vendor. I'd like the course to be visible in the catalogue to allow learners to enrol to it, and based on the interest to schedule a session.Can anyone provide advice on what would be the correct setup? can I use the default instance for the first scheduled session or do I need to create a separate instance for that?Thanks Roni

I'm writing a program that keeps track of all the enrolled users. In order to get a user's information though, I need their UUID. From what I understand, there isn't a method in the Captivate Prime API that returns a user's ID based on their name or email address. Is there a way to get a list of user ID's with their corresponding name/email? The only method that comes close is the GET /users call, but you're limited to 10 results per page, and you can't filter out by name or email.

Hi,Our organization has a lot of department transfers and promotions (many per day). Each department has it's own set of enrollments automated by learning plans and defined specific user groups; namely job title and department number. We are encountering the scenario, where if a user transfers to a new department they retain their old department's enrollments. Users are calling in to support to remove these old enrollments after they have moved departments (the training is no longer relevant to them). The support team is being bogged down by the number of these unenrollment requests. How is your organization handling attribute changes that leave old enrollments on a user's home page? Are you handling these manually? Leaving it up to the user to remove the enrollments? Not doing anything? Thanks in advance.

I have been assigned an admin profile and I am unable to share dashboard reports.It does state at the top of the reports that "Reports can be grouped together on a dashboard. You can have multiple dashboards that you can also share with other users in the system." What am I missing? Appreciate the help!

When I upload my Captivate modules to Adobe Captivate Prime, the audio in my modules will not play on an iPhone or iPad.  Is anyone else having this problem.  I contacted support and they keep saying they are working on it on the back end.  I ask for updates and get limited, generic responses.  I know it's the app because a friend of mine, who rarely updates her apps, said she can hear the audio in all the apps on an older version of Captivate Prime on her phone.  This is very frustrating as my mobile users can't hear anything for the last three weeks.  Any feedback would be great if anyone knows a solution.

I use Captivate to create a slide with a web object. It is a PDF. When previewing in captivate it shows the PDF on the screen. When I upload it to Prime all I get is an OPEN button which downloads the pdf.How do I get it visible on the screen. The first image is a screen shot when I preview the course as a learner in Prime. the second is the Properties panel of the web object in Captivate.In the mobile app there is nothing where the web object is supposed to be!

This project involves the students downloading and editing a document/presentation then submitting it back to Captivate Prime for the teachers to review and mark.1 - Is there a way for the students to submit these documents back into Captivate Prime for the teachers to mark.2 - Are the students able to edit the document/presentation within Captivate Prime.ThanksRobert

HelloI have watched a guide on making a course with Captivate Prime. He had a quiz/test at the end of each module.I searched a bit around and found some answer that said they are created in Adobe Captivate. Then looking at that, i see that i need to pay hundreds of $ to do that.Is that really so, to make a quiz/test in Captivate Prime i need to buy the Captivate program/app too, to do this ?All the bestCarsten

Is there a way to host documents in Prime that can be electronically signed and submitted? For instance, if I have an Employee Handbook that new employees must read, is there a way to have a form associated with the handbook that employees electronically sign and submit to verify that they have read and agree to the terms in the book?I know I can put a form in the Job Aid section, but the user would still have to download a copy and submit the form through email or print. I'm trying to have the form signed and sent directly from Prime.Thank you!

I have a user that has completed several of my courses and the accompanied quizzes but when I ran the report to see what questions they got correct/incorrect, every response was listed as "NA" which I'm assuming means "Not Attempted". The issue I have with this is the user actually completed each course/quiz and received a score. I know that the course is set up correctly as this is the only user that I have seen this happen to out of the 15 or so other participants. There are a few other users that I see an NA response for but they also scored a 0 on the course as they did not complete it so I have no issue with that. Any idea as to what could be wrong? Thanks!

I do not find a way to continue with the following learning modules in captiva prime. every time I finish a new module and I use the continue button, module 1 is started again. so you have to go directly to the modules. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thank you very much for your time.

I have learners in different business units (self-defined field on user account) like sales, marketing, management etc.Is it possible to publish content that only learners in the different business units can view in the cataloge?
