Adobe Learning Manager

Good day,Sorry for the following beginner type questions:First Question:I am hiring an instructional designer. They will add some features to a mp4 3 minute video. They will then load it to my adobe captivate prime account. Once they load it, does that automatically remove it from their adobe captivate etool they used to add the features?Second Question:Can they email me the finished cptx file? If so, is there a special mechanism they must use to send it to me then I can load it to my adobe captivate prime account without giving them access to my adobe captivate prime account? Thanks

Hi All,Please advise! I am creating live training courses and I am located in Pacific Time. I need to create sessions for other Time Zones. In many cases, I will have to schedule training months in advanced before or after Daylight Savings Time starts or ends for certain cities. I'd like to understand if I should be selecting a certain Time Zone depending on if the session date being scheduled lands during Daylight Savings Time or Standard Time? My main concern is the auto reminder sent out for live sessions 1 day prior to training having the incorrect time and how it will flow to outlook calendars if participants have enrolled before the time change happens. Which time zone should I be using for these 3 examples? Mountain Time Choices (targeted city Tempe, AZ) Central Time Choices (targeted city Chicago, IL)Eastern Time Choices (targeted city Boston, MA)Any feedback is greatly appreciated as I need to nail down this workflow ASAP.

I've been trying to get the buttons and click boxes to work and went through lots of articles and videos but none has helped so far. Right now, I'm stuck on a video where you need to add these elements as variables. Then advanced actions is supposed to show up in the Actions section. But, in my case, the Advanced actions is not showing up. Any ideas?I've tried copying templates and using the templates but none of them work. This really can't be that difficult.I need to make 4 questions:T/FMultiple choiceMatchingI can't even get elearning templates to work or for them to contact me. Hello, I have the need to configure access to Captivate Prime with SSO using Azure AD B2C. I have completed the Azure side but when I do the ACP part, the users are not synchronized and it is not possible to register them through the links of the groups. How is the user of the DA linked to the ACP user?Is there a guide or tutorial that I can use? I followed the step by step of this link but said that I should contact Adobe technical support to complete the ACP side (Is this true?). Thanks for answers.

Hi Im a first time user. Im using the youtube upload link. But i get a message saying this video is not supported by streaming....do i need to change the setting somehow??please help sleepless in Seattle.

I was happy to see that Captivate Prime introduced the discussion forum for courses.However, and correct me if I am wrong, but I did not see a way to receive any sort of email notification that someone posted in the forum.As an instructor or student - it would be nice to have a choice of getting posts sent by email either once a day as a digest or individually as they are posted. This can help instructors and moderators be more responsive without having to check the forum itself all the time.

We cannot get the POST User to assign a Manager when adding a User. Is there some permissions that need to be set to assign a manager during a POST user. Or are we missing the correct syntax in the “relationship” part of the body? What should be set for the “type” in the “relationship” section of the POST? If we take the “relationship” section out it works and the user’s Manager gets assigned to our root Manager account. But we want to assign specific Manager's during the POST. If I have 10 users registered and one learner finishes the course in a month and can be deactivated, can I assign another learner without having to pay for another learner? 

I just signed up for a trial subscription for Adobe Captivate Prime, in order to test the API feature.I'm wondering what types of users the GET /users query (located here Captivate Prime API ) returns. Is it both internal and external users, or only one of them?If both are returned, is it possible to distinguish (via the API) users based on if they are internal or external?I'm also assuming that we as a company only pay for internal users, while third parties pay for the external users, right?My goal is to retrieve the number of users I'm paying for through my own account only.Thanks.

Hey guys, we are looking for a new LMS with a CDN offering.We've been let down by Litmos as there is huge latency for us in Australia.Our content will be consumed in 4 countries: Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Ireland.Does anyone know if Captivate Prime has multiple servers?Can't find any inf. on the site.

I am creating classroom training courses. Some of the courses are taught by outside consulting and training firms. Is there anyway to track the outside trainer in the instructor field without adding them as a user.

How can a learner reset the progress of failed and incomplete modules?

We have a course built in Captivate 10 (2017) that when published to HTML5 outputs .json file types instead of ,png file types.  Is there a way to switch back to .png file types without switching to Flash which is going away?  Is there a switch somewhere I'm just not seeing?

Hi Friends,I have a scenario for learners that have already completed Learning program with 7 courses in it. Now when they leave the company and rehired, how can i manage there reassignment to the same learning program for the second time. They will always see their history as completed. Prime support has recommended to have different versions on the program created and manually assign the courses to re-hires. I do not feel comfortable with this idea as imagine the pain for admins if this is going to be a long term plan 😞 for a global company with 1000+ employees with frequent rehires.Any suggestion would be appreciated.-Supriya

I am new to creating elearning and I am trying to sourcewhich is the best program to purchase for my orgisation.  I like the sound of both of the above applications however based on my internet readings of late I am lost as to whether I need both for full functionality or whether I can I use one vs the other?

HiI have an issue with a Captivate project (2019 version) in that when I view my project in Captivate it is fine but when I publish to Prime and view in the "Learner" view it is missing the first slide and starts on slide 2 always.  What could the problem be, has anyone else encountered this issue?  Would appreciate an answer or some advice on this as it is quite urgent.

I recently uploaded some content to Prime that was created with Captivate 2019.The modules do not play. Just the spinning wheel.The same modules play fine when uploaded to SCORM Cloud.My old 2017 modules play just fine.Other users are experiencing the same.Please see the following post.Captivate 2019 courses will not load in Captivate Prime Hopefully, something can be done quickly on this.

I am trialing Captivate Prime as our LMS, one option that is important to us is the ability to track certification renewal dates by individual.  I can't find where you can do this please.  Each individual may have a different renewal date for their certificate.  These certificates may also be awarded by an external provider.  Thanks for any help.

Hi,I want to load a pdf workbook onto the LMS for learners that they can download and print out for themselves.I can't see anywhere that I can set this up in Captivate Prime.Is this something that can be done within the LMS?Thanks,David
