Adobe Learning Manager

Hello Adobe Prime Dev Team!In preparation for acclimating my learners to the newest layout & features in Adobe Captivate Prime, I would like to have access to Dr. Allen Partridge's videos. I can see them in the site when signed in as admin, from the home page.I how can I make them available to my learners? I search AdobeeLearning YouTube channel, but I don't see the newest videos.Thanks,Thomas H.Master Electronics

I'm having two issues with uploading to Captivate Prime:1. When publishing directly from Captivate to Prime, sometimes it does not reflect that I have already uploaded this before. Instead of prompting the "this module has been updated", it asks me to create an entirely new module. 2. When I try to update the module manually in Prime, I zip the new captivate file and upload to the module. It says it updates but I click back into the module it still reads the same zip file before the update.Very frustrating when trying to update modules.

To the Prime Tech Development Team:Recommendations for Administrators on how to get started with Captivate Prime application I visit the Adobe Prime forum as much as possible, but, I just discovered the above link (page last updated some time in February 2017).During the webinar with Allen Partridge and team this week, he mentioned workflow documentation, step-by-step guides etc. (written and video).Regarding the workflow documentation, will the UPDATED version for the product refresh be at the same link?Regards,Thomas H.Master Electronics

I finished participating in the webinar a short time ago.Where evangelist Allen Partridge and key Adobe team members for Prime, announced the latest enhancements we can look forward to in the upcoming release April 8, 2017.Integrated libraries sounds promising for the challenges I've had with Prime and my third party content provider. Hello to the Prime tech development team.BackgroundAs I create courses in Prime, when a learner goes to the course catalog the newest courses I've created appear at the top of the list. But I don't necessarily want those courses to grab the learner's attention.Idea/SuggestionCreate a mechanism in Prime so admins can make a course "sticky" or have a "featured courses" area. There are certain courses that, I want to nudge my learners toward, but not assign them (like a manager can, or admins can using profiles).Thanks,Thomas H.Master Electronics

Hi,What are the steps to run a report based on learner transcripts by department?I ran a learner transcript report and the field/column for department was not there (but I uploaded my CSV of users with that column).Thanks.

Hi!Suggestions for Prime dev tech team.1. Clarity on what a profile does and does not do regarding user/learner management.Examples:a) profile cannot be created unless the manager is already loaded in Prime.b) once profile is created, the manager cannot be changed.c) profile cannot be deleted [in order to add correct manager], else users/learners that registered that way are deleted.d) IF users/learners are already in Prime, uploading a CSV DOES NOT place those people into the profile.e) Tech team, please look at the help info that is available and change the wording to explicitly explain that the profile feature should ONLY BE USED WHEN AN ADMIN wants users/learners to Self-Register.

Hello to ACP tech development team.As I continue ramping up the number of learners on my Prime LMS, the current workflow Adobe is using locks me out.When I register a set of users, the Adobe Captivate Prime system generates a welcome email. I want control over the content of that email. For example, add a link to it that reminds the learners about a previous email I sent to them in preparation for gaining Prime access. Or, including a link to a video I've created to introduce my department and welcome them to the company (in the case of a new employee).If this type of functionality exist in ACP please advise. If not, please consider including it on the tech enhancement roadmap for future upgrades.WE LOVE PRIME, HELP US LOVE IT EVEN MORE.Regards,Thomas H.Master Electronics

Hello to the ACP tech development team.I would like to see some enhancements around the process learners go through to reset their passwords.Currently ACP site admins have no part of that process (since the password is an Adobe ID). My learners are frustrated when their unable to successfully reset their passwords, and doubly so when I as the site admin cannot do anything about itI'll be at 300 learners on our LMS in the future, I don't want to manually manage this process, but, is there some level of control Adobe can grant site admins to help in a crunch?Thanks,Thomas H.Master Electronics

I've just read through multiple forums about this but I couldn't find any answers that work so here we go! If there is one that worked for you just let me know the link and I'll check it out thanks. So I have the Captivate 9 and Captivate Prime trials. I am on a Windows computer and I can't upload to Captivate Prime - I have tried uploading the actual file and uploading it in a zip file. I have also lessened the size of the file I'm attempting to upload. It says it's uploading but then when it goes back tot he modules page it says  Module (Name of Module) failed to be uploaded. Reason: . The uploaded content is not supported. Please try again. any ideas on how to get past this? I don't want to buy the product without knowing that I'll actually be able to use it! All suggestions welcome! Thanks

The quiz results page is showing up but it is not tracking the results in Captivate 9 when I demo it and also in Captivate Prime when I upload the course. Any suggestions? Thanks!Will

I want to track completions for a course that has six modules for learners. Do I need to set up the scorm function in quiz preferences in Captivate 9 before I upload? Thanks for guidance.

I was given several SWF files in a zip folder.  I open them and they launch what looks like an animation of a course.  I'm trying to get them into my Prime LMS.  I try to upload/import and create modules then courses but these files won't work.  Even the zip file isn't working.  Others have sent me zip files with lots of non swf files in each one.  Imported right into Prime with no issues.  Why is the swf file giving me trouble.  Mac user with Captivate 9 and Prime. Newbie so be specific. THANKS!

I have a client who wants a learner to pass a set of modules before they can take the next set of modules.For example, they would need to pass a first level course consisting of module 1 (worth 5 points), module 2 (worth 15 points, and module 3 (worth 10 points). After completing and passing these 3 modules, the learner would be allowed to take a second level course consisting of module 1 ( 7 points), module 2 (9 points) and module 3 (11 points).The numbers I'm using are just for example.If the learner does not complete all modules in the first level they would be prevented from accessing and taking the second level.How can this be set up in Captivate Prime to work automatically?

I am trying to upload a PDF as a module.But, it will not upload.I've tried IE and Chrome browsers.I'm signed out and signed back into the platform.It's a one page PDF.There should not be a problem.Thanks,Thomas H.Master Electronics

Are there any books, videos (besides the skimpy marketing oriented videos that Adobe created), or any other materials available for learning the ins and outs and use of Captivate Prime?

Why is it that I notice the mention of L1 and L3 feedback, but no mention of L2 feedback?

Is it better to create a Non-Responsive Project or Responsive project to import into Captivate Prime?  Thanks for the help.
