Adobe Media Encoder

everytime i render it fails to continue the render, its getting so frustrating.I tried uninstalling and installing media encoder and it worked but just for one render and it failed to render afterwards. Anyone faced the same issue?

I recently installed the latest Adobe CC 2019 on my Mac running Sierra OS.I am trying to do a simple file conversion of a QuickTime movie with the codec Apple ProRes 422, Linear PCM 24-bit little-endian signed integer, 16 channels, 48000 Hz.When I try to import it into Adobe Media Encoder, I get the following error.

Hello everyone,Since some time now my Media Encoder don't want to start anymore on my computer and I really need it to can render AE projects.When i try to launch it, the little launching square screen appear, loads for a few seconds and then disappear and nothing else happen. There is no error message, crash report etc... The software just don't open after the little square disappear. It also disappear from Tasks manager. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it, downgrade it to older versions (i currently have both v14.0 and v13.1.5 installed), launch it with After Effect by directly import a composition, but always exactly the same thing happen... It seems to happen precisly on this computer since my laptop launch it, but I really need it on this one. Do someone have an idea why it happens? Thanks by advance!

hello all, I'm new both to the forum and After Effects, so thanks in advance for any help. I have a 2min:25sec animation in AE. I would like to render it out as H.264 mp4 but the file size is at best 38MB. I have dropped the bitrate to 2.5min 5max. I believe a colleague produced exactly the same file (different animation) and their final file is only 2.9MB ! Any tips on how to achieve this please? (the are almost exact same file, some different type)

I have a sequence in a Premiere Pro team project that contains an image sequence. I've gone through the export settings and queued the video in the media encoder render queue. I export the video, but the image sequence seems as though it's frozen on the first frame of the sequence.When I export from Premiere Pro, the image sequence renders properly. It's not a major problem but more of an annoyance. I should add this problem is happening with both of us, so we don't think it's machine specific. Both of us are working on Windows 10, 64 gb of ram with i9 processors.Premiere Pro version 14.3.1Media Encoder version 14.3.1 

 

Hi, I'm trying to render a very large video file from after effects (almost 2 hours long). I'm trying to render in H.264 using the preset "Match Source - High bitrate". Because the file is about 8GB and I'd be cutting it close with storage on my computer, I've set the output folder to an external USB Flashdrive. Every attempt the same faliure keeps occuring after roughly 2 hours of rendering... First the destination folder is filled with not just one, but two video files, the largest file (~4GB) is always an m4v file despite selecting H264. The second file is MP4 but extremely small in size... usually only ~200mb.  The ~200mb mp4 plays but there is no content at all, literally 2 hours of blackness. The large file has a strange number attached to the end of the file name "2596.279761", it comes up with an error when I try to play it (This file isn’t playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt.)

Hi, Using AE 17.1.2 and Media Encoder 14.3.1Is just impossible to export through media encoder and is sincerely quite frustrating because it gets me stuck and I can't deliver my project to my client. Any solutions?

The rendering was working well but suddenly stopped.So i tried again, then nothing happened in the program. I need to reboot the laptop.Sometimes 'Out of memory' window pops up, but my labtop has enough memory more than 30GB. How can I fix this problem? (I tried Purge to erase all of the memory in AE.  program that I wanna render is After Effect.Also I don't thinks the graphic card has some problems, it's enough to render this.This never happened until last month.) Thanks.

I am trying to create proxies from some ProRes Raw footage and while doing so Media Encoder crashes within seconds of starting the process. I have tried doing the clips individually and in a queue, both with the same result.The footage was shot on a S1H with Atomos Ninja V. I am trying to create the proxies on a MBP Dual-Core 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 with 16GB of Ram.Any sugestions?

I posted this in the Premiere Pro forum but nobody could answer it. This is the weirdest thing. When I export clips straight from premiere they export fine. When I batch export the same set of clips, they come out over saturated and high contrast.My settings are the same straight out of premiere and media encoder. Am I missing something? Two example screenshots attached.Any help would be great.Thanks.

AME 14.3.1 does NOT want to render my AE project. I had rendered something from Animate the day before and it was just fine. AME seems to be connecting ok, but once it shows that it's encoding, it freezes my MacBook and crashes. I have 16 GB of RAM, a 10th gen processor, and my MacBook is up to date, so I should be just fine for system requirements. I've tried multiple times and restarted my computer, still not working. Can I do anything?

Hello, I have made an edit on after effects and as the h.264 video codec is gone, I tried to use adobe media encoder. However, whenever I render it, it renders super quick and only exports one frame. I've tried changing the time code and the problem isn't after-effects as I was able to export the full video (by changing the timecode however not with h.264). I've updated the app but nothing is working

If I set the begining and end of the work area from frame 0 to 500, send that to media encoder it will renderfilename0000 to filename0500. If I then later set the begining and end of the work area from frame 501 to 1000 it will render out filename0000 to filename0500. How do I get it to render out filename0501 to filename1000?And really, what is the purpose of the image sequence starting at 0? If I were to render it from the RenderQueue in After Effects the sequence would start with the frame number corresponding to the work area. Why the incongruency?And finally, how do I specify the amount of zeros in the image sequence, as sending the job from the renderqueue in After Effects to Media encoder, with the format filename_[##] will result in filename_[##]0000Thank you.

Media Encoder doesn't render out my Motion Blur. I have checked the Motion Blur icon in the Comp timeline, but still nothing.Supposedly, if I rendered directly in After Effects it should include motion blur, but AE doesn't allow mp4 as export file, which is a problem.If anyone knows the answer, please help!

Hi I Recently did a build for my video editing purpose, But When I tried my new Rig on rendering im not satisfied with the outcome. I use After effect and then render it using Adobe Media Encoder, But I realized that While Rendering Encoder does not use any of my Hardware on Full or Close to like 90% I also Tried Gpu open cl Rendering and Also Cpu rendering, Both have Similar but Gpu looks like 5 10 min Fast..  I have these Spec: CPU : Ryzen 5 3600Motherboard: B450 tomahawakRAM: Tridentz RGB 32 GB 3200MHZ ocNVME: Samsung 970 evo 500 Gb ( Windows , Adobe Softwares )External Drive SSD: Don't know much ( Project and Files )GPU: AMD Rx 580 8 Gb Sappire nitro+ 1430mhz Clock when gaming  ( But while Rendering its always Show 300 mhz )Power Supply: Redragon 600 watts  

I have noticed that prores files work much faster on my pc than mp4 h264. I have more than 300 videos between 3-10 seconds. I convert them to prores, but they are too heavy. When they were mp4 they weighed 5mb each. Now they weigh more than 200mb and I don't have that much space. How can I create lighter prores files with Media Encoder?

I tried to open Media Encoder as a stand alone application as I need to make proxies of footage I recently shot.  As I clicked on the application to open, I got this message:Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue. I uninstalled the application and re-installed it.  I assume I was installing the latest version.  I still received the same messageAdobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue. What's UP???? 

Media Encoder crashes about half way through the second or third file before it hangs up.  Shut down ME and then send the ones that havent been encoded yet.  Again about the second or third one it crashes again...any ideas....My computer specs...Processor AMD Ryzen 9 3900x 12-core 3.79 GHz  64 GB Ram OS and programs on 1TB SSD and the GPU is a Nvidia 1070.

This is insanity. Adobe you have destroyed Premiere/Media Encoder.Here is a very detailed rundown of our exact set up that we have been running for YEARS.Computer: Windows 10 (up to date), Intel i9-7940x @3.10 GHz, 3- GeForce 1080Ti (up to date drivers), 128GB Ram.  Running to dedicated 10G Ethernet 160TB SSD/Raid server (transfer speeds exceed 250mb/sec).We author in 4K x 4K Dome format. Our files are massive. All source content is 4K x 4K frame sequences usually TIF or PNG image sequence call ups. From Premiere: Render times for a 30 minute program, sent out as JPEG image sequences,  used to run approx 8-12 hours.....are now blown out to 175-200+ hours. WTFH??! This is truly INSANITY. 2020 Premiere and Media Encoder are now an active threat to our productions. I have been fighting for the past 30+ days trying to render out ONE DAMN TIMELINE. Worse yet....once we "upgraded" to 2020...we can't step back down to 2019 to finish in FUNCTIONAL environment. Ado

Hello. I'm on a fresh install of windows, fresh install of everything through Creative Cloud. It seems like while I can export to AME from AE, I cannot do the same from Premiere. I've tried the disabling the native import in AME, didn't help. I've made sure I do have the queue window open, I've even reset the applications by holding shift+alt when starting them up.I've tried downgrading to 14.0, tried reinstalling everything but it's all the same.When I click Queue in the media export window, nothing happens. AME isn't even opened up.I can open the Premiere project within AME and export the sequences that way but it's super cumbersome when you're working with a large number of sequences.What can I do to fix it?

I've made a video in After Effects, that is ca. 40 minutes long, and the export via Adobe Media Encoder won't work for some reason.The export takes about 20 hours with Adobe Media Encoder (my computer is a bit dated), and I do get a file, that is 4.29 GB big, but I can't play it back, neither on QuickTime Player nor on VLC. Here are the Codec details: H.264 (in MP4)1920 x 1080p, 25 FPS, Progressive, PAL"Render at Maximum Depth" enabledProfile: High, Level: 4.220 MBit/s, VBR The restrictions:Video file must be less than 7 GBAt least 20 MBit/s bitrateH.264 preferred The export works perfectly fine when I only render 10 minutes of the video; therefore I thought the 20 hours of rendering might be too long, so I reduced it down to 2 hours (using some tricks), which again doesn't work (4 GB file, can't play).I'm not too experienced with videos, so I really can't figure out, what the problem is.
