Seeing several have issues with the latest update that Media Encoder 14.0 will not launch. I solved it by removing the plugin that stops the program from starting and running. Then take a movie startup and find which plugin is the last one before closing the program. Search the plugin name online. Download the uninstall program if it is not on your PC / Mac. My problem was Melt Core plugin.
Hi, I've been having trouble since Version 14.0 with Media Encoder crashing when I export videos from Premier Pro. It will export about 60-70% before it stops and then shortly therafter system crash. Further, when it does not crash the exported video glitches as in the speed of the video. So a person would look like they are blinking over and over or their hands are shaking etc. Please help!
Hello guys, We are trying to convert a 90 minute MXF file into a DCP file. But after about 1 hour of rendering its randomly stops without any warning or error. We are using an Mac Pro and are converting to an usb-3 connected external harddrive. Any ideas about this? What could cause this? Would love to hear any thoughts. Regards,Marten
When loading Media Encoder crashes every time or whenever Premiere is exporting a project " loading ImporterQuickTime bundle." This issue started to happen since the upgrade and is not acceptable. Please help me.
Hi All, I have a 1 minute AE video that is 4k (3840x2160) and 59.94 (fps).. it has slight animation as well as imported transition effects. I'd like to export the full video from Adobe Media Encoder (version.14.03) in its best quality possible. The project file is orginally from AE (version 17.0.5) ..but everytime I export the video, the final video quality is not as sharp as a 4k video should look. Is it possible my media encoder export settings are off? Any help with a clear looking HD project would be very appreciated and needed! Looking forward to any help you can provide. Thank you. - Leon

When I export a simple composition from Adobe After Effects into Media Encoder, it generates a .mp4 file, but the video file is blank. The composition is a 5-second video with a 3-letter word to which I've applied stroke animation to make it look like I'm writing each letter out. Thanks for any help.
Just updated program started but not luanch and quited. How is that happen ?
Adobe Media Encoder doesn’t seem to be trying very hard. I don’t understand why. Here is my setup.Hardware: New Desktop Mac Pro (2019), 12 cores, 384 GB RAM, 4 TB internal SSD, AMD Radeon Pro Vega II DuoOS: Catalina 10.15.5Software: Premiere Pro 14.3, Adobe Media Encoder 14.3. Adobe is allowed to use 330 GB RAMEverything is up to date. I created a PP project with a 2-hour timeline, no transitions or effects. Output queued with these settings: Vimeo 1080p preset, hardware encoding, Profile: High, Level 4.2, 1 pass VBR, 16 Mbps During AME encoding I used Activity Monitor to check out what was running.CPU usage 18%GPU usage 13%RAM used 30 GBDisk: 15 MB/sec written It takes 18 minutes to encode a 2-hour timeline but it is hardly using the CPU and GPU and it has tons of unused RAM if it wants more. Why isn’t it using all the computing power available? No other apps are running on the computer. I also tried saving the PP project, closing PP, and then opening the project i
Adobe Encoder Program is not working due to a crash. It doesn't turn on at all.
Is it possible to make media encoder automatically send the rendered files to the right recipient? It happens to often that I have to wait until 3 am to go to bed, just to send the files.
When I open a QuickTime file rendered from After Effects, I get the following error: "The document could not be opened. The file isn't comptabible with QuickTime Player."(that isn't the real issue, as I've had success encoding this file with Media Encoder) However, now when I open the QuickTime file (that I rendered in After Effects) in Media Endcoder and encode I get a blank / black QuickTime file. What gives? I'm creating animated videos with no sound and can provide more specifics as needed.
Adobe can start Media Encoder for IOS and Android devices. It will be a instant popular in the mobile platform. Mainly, it will be helpful for the IOS users to convert files and stuffs coming form Android and Windows 10 devices cuz I feel IOS and MAC are not universal compatible with a wide range of apps and extensions. Conversions of Media will be easy then. Please look to my post ADOBE Technical Team! 😊
Hi there. I'm running Premiere Pro 2020 and Media Encoder on a Mac running OS Catalina 10.15.5 I upgraded both Premiere Pro and Media Encoder earlier this week as ME was not launching. I also updated to latest OS. Now when I export from Premiere, Media Encoder launches but doesn't do anything. Am currently exporting manually from Premiere so working at a snails pace here. Has anyone experienced same and come up with any fixes? Thanks in advance. Killian Title edited by Mod

So how is there not an Auto Shut Down feature for Adobe Media Encoder yet? We're on the 2017 version and still nothing?I don't want to leave my laptop on all night. Can we please get a Auto Shutdown option so that it forces the computer to shutdown after all the projects are finished encoding. And also a startup log to show that everything went successful the next time we boot up.
Hello, I am working on a project in After Effects for my sister and I need Media Encoder to send it from my laptop to my phone in a small file size but Adobe Media Encoder 2020 will not open! I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling Media Encoder directly from Creative Cloud Desktop and it will not open and she wants it by the end of today. Please help me.
I have 40 clips. All of them are the same codec, bitrate, etc. I want to stitch them all together - but I don't want to recompress / re-encode. Is there a way to do that? It's a super long video so the render is taking forever. Ideas?
Hello friends, I would like to know if I can restart the computer with a rendering in the middle?Thank you waiting for a reply.
I'm having the exact same problem as nadyam98391617. This is his post that was incorrected marked as "solved": https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-media-encoder/can-t-export-lower-than-1-mbps/td-p/10016996?page=1Every time I export a H.264 video with bitrate setting below 1 Mbps, the output's total bitrate is always around 3 Mbps. I tried with 0.9 Mbps, 0.6, 0.4.. it's still the same. When I set it to 1 Mbps and 1.1 Mbps, it exported correctly. I never get this problem in the previous version of AME.Why does it happen and is there a way to fix this? I'm experiencing the EXACT same problem. I have a few webinars that range from 40 minutes to 80 minutes in length. As you can imagine, the difference between 0,5mbps and 3mbps second is 500MB vs 3GB.I have tried editing and exporting at different resolutions incase there is a standard I'm not conforming to, but it's made difference at all. Just this morning, I upgraded to the latest version of Media encder (v14.3 Build 39) an
Even though the CC panel says "Will work on this computer" - its checked, I still cannot open the app. Adobe - what's the problem?
Hi, I have Version 14.3 (Build 39)I got the "Could not read from source" error. Then I try to put the file in the download directory (The original has Hebrew characters). You can see a Video Shot in this link:https://monosnap.com/file/CgNSNzSVGREQsCXu6VB6FzAhdY3HsI I get the same error when trying to import to Premiere Pro 2020 - Version 14.3.0 (Build 38)
As stated, I can't even get the program to open. I've tried numerous times including restarting my machine. Nothing. Having to use an old version (13.1.5) to do my work When I try to run the new 'Me' the icon bounces, then eventually stops. Right-clicking the icon in the dock shows 'Application not responding' and I have to force quit. Running Catalina, 10.15.5Mac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014)4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
