Adobe Media Encoder

I am running the trial version of Media Encoder CC and have no prior experience of this sort of software (apologies for limited knowledge and I hope this mean my question has an easy answer!). I experimented by trying to convert some m2ts files to mp4 using the default presets chosen for me. The first conversion worked fine then, when I tried a small batch (or any single file since), I get a "not currently encoding" message. I have no idea why.Any help in rectifying would be much appreciated?Maurice

Hello!Does anyone know how to change the format settings of an MXF OP1a XDCAM HD422? Hello,I am trying to encode lowres samples and set the bitrate to 0.4 mbit/sAME ignores it and uses about 1.3 mbit/s instead.Anyone know what's up with that?Thx!

I always use Adobe Encoder to export projects from After Effect but today it is not working, I export the project from AE and it does not appear in Media Encoder, I tried to uninstall and install the program and the same thing happens, I have a Macbook Pro 16 inch 32 ram memory. Please someone else is experiencing this and how you guys are solving it. Thank you

I have a 4k Pro Res 422 master and want too make a HD H264. It is a web serie and has 9 minutes.  My export set up is: Format: h262Preset: High bitrate1920x108023, 976Bitrate encoding: VBR, 1 pass Have been trying this for a while. The computer crashes  every single time. It freezes the computer. So I need to turn off and turn on again the computer.  I am using version 14.5 and 13.1.5. After insist using media encoder, try it in DaVinci and work very well. Faster and smoother than Media Encoder.  Why does this happen? Thanks

I have used use Character animator to create the video, then media encoder to render out the video. I am receiving this red filter on all the videos I am trying to render. Has this been seen before? 

Hi all.Thanks to my new Mac Pro, rendering projects from Premiere is now faster than ever.  My most common flavor is h.264 for vimeo.  The odd thing is that rendering audio now takes longer than rendering video.  I usually apply audio effects such as EQ, reverb, compression and limiting.  A half-hour program now takes about 7 minutes to encode but over half the time is spent on processing audio.  Activity Monitor shows little or no CPU usage.  When it starts working on video, CPU and GPU roar to life.  My audio hardware is a simple D/A box for monitoring and analog inputs, a Focusrite Scarlett.  Does anyone have any thoughts on why rendering simple audio effects now seem to take the most time?

Hago lo mismo que he hecho siempre, con la misma configurción de exportación, nunca he tenido problemas. Y ahora intento exportar un video de 30 minutos y empieza a exportarlo con normalidad y hace todo el proceso como si estuviera bien. Pero el resultado final es un video que no se puede reproducir y que pesa 1kb. No se que hacer. Al exportar otros videos mas cortos (3min) no tengo problema. Hi, experts. I've updated my hardware and now I can't export from AE to AME queue. Whenever I try to do it, AME gives me a poker face and pretends this is none of it's business. However, when importing an AE project directly from AME, then AME starts the never ending quest of connecting to the mighty Dinamyc Link Server where, apparenlty, only good hearted noble warriors can reach and AME is none of that. The only turnarround I could think of is rendering to AVI on AE, import the AVI file on AME and then converting it to MP4, but this solution is ridiculous and very time consuming. I'm having a consistent, repeatable issue with Media Encoder queues.   I'm creating queues of 2-6 videos, each 8k x 8k sequences rendering to 4k x 4k ProRes 422. The first video renders fine, somewhere between 2-4 hours. But the second video starts and then shows render times in the dozens to 100+ hours. It doesn't crash or hang per se, but the render times are absurd. I stop the render, restart the PC, open AME and reset the queue, then the render time is back to 2-4 hours. Once the second video in the queue starts, the same thing happens and I have to restart again, so it's not really a queue. I'm guessing there is some issue w/ the system not clearing / resetting VRAM or another system resource. I have nearly 100 videos like this to render, and my system is Windows 10, Media Encoder v14.5 (Build 48), PP v14.5.0 (Build 51), i9 7900x, 128GB RAM, 1080ti w/ 12GB VRAM, SSDs & NVME drives.

Why Premier encoder 2020 can not be working continuosly on the watch  files?  It keep asking to exit the Encoder while the clips was still under encoding.

Hello!I tried everything to fix this problem but it still contains. When opening a MP4 video file (2 kinds of videos: recorded by smartphone and recorded from screen (streaming)) and encode it, I always have a green screen and can only hear the sound from the video. The same problem happens in After Effects. MP4 files can't be edited because I only habe a green picture - sound works fine. All codecs are installed (I think - I'm not an expert on this field). The files can be opened in all my media players (Media Player Classic, VLC Media Player, Windows Media Player) and are working fine. Just in After Effects and Media Encoder I have this green screen error. I get no error messages or something like that. I think the program itself thinks, that everything is OK. I searched every possible way I know for a solution, but nothing is completely similar to my problem. The problem solving tipps from other boards or websites didn't work too. I'm using Win10 and have After E

I Have both After Effects and Media Encoder. I finished a composition in AE (1920 x 1080) and I want to Export it that way as an MP4. I put ot in the render cue in After Effects and there is no H.264 choice only Quicktime.  Then I put it into the Media Encoder Queue and I put it to H.264 and when I go to render it there, it says it failed.  What am I doing wrong? Thanks in Advance

Hello everyone,the past few days,  i can't make any proxys with Media Encoder, i decide to delete the app and reinstall Adobe Media Encoder but there is an error again. Error 173.I'm the only one who have this problems ?Thanks for any answer. 

I have tried to open it through After Effects or Premiere, tried different versions, did most of the fixes that have been discussed by the community but nothing will do. The loading screen launches and then just disappears without opening.Please help!! 

I am working with a video with a burned-in timecode which shows as being non-drop frame.  However, my subtitling software reads the video as being drop-frame.  My guess is that the burnt-in timecode is incorrect and that the video actually is drop-frame.  However, I cannot find any way to check this theory of mine.  When I load the video in Media Encoder, it shows me that the frame rate is 29.97 -- But I already knew that. How can I find out if Media Encoder considers the video to be 29.97 drop frame or 29.97 non-drop frame?  I want to verify this so I can tell my client authoritatively that the burnt-in timecode is at odds with the actual timecode.  I can tell them that my subtitling software thinks the video is drop frame, but I'd like to have a second source to confirm that.

Hi, I use to convert M2TS from Sony A7S to MP4 with Media Encoder.Since version 14.31 (Windows 10 64x), and so the last 14.4, an error message tells me this format is not supported. That is a bug or a format will not be supported any more ?

Hi, I have a 6 month old Macbook Pro 2.8GHz with 16 gig of ram. I have been editng in Avid and did an export (2020 makes VERY big files) so have been re-exporting through Media Encoder.  I have done this douzens of times of the last 6 months with no problems.  For some reason now the video is exporting in a jittered slow motion.  I did an export this morning and was fine and then started to much about with bit rate to make the file smaler.  That's when i got the problem so reverted back to custom setting but still to no avail. I have checked my setting and FPS is correct and ME is set for software only! Help!  thanks 

I'm on a Macbook Pro running OS 10.15.7 Catalina and just downloaded the Adobe CC Suite a month or so ago and everytime I try to open Media Encoder it freezes as soon as it gets to Loading ImporterQuickTime.bundle. I have tried this dozens of times now and have only got it to successfully open once and that took about 10 minutes.

Does anyone know if Media Encoder 14.6 is capable of transcoding 120fps or higher media? I think it was with 14.0 release I noticed the highest frame rate it was capable of handling was 60fps so I rolled mine back to 13.1.5 where it's been ever since.  This is a mojor oversight by Adobe. Unless its intentional? Why break something that works? Transcoding from Sony a7s2 and a7r3 mp4 to Apple Pro Res.

Hi,I'm using Adobe Media Encoder CC 2017 v11.0 and able to encode DTS HDMA/TrueHD 5.1 (6 channels) to DD+ 5.1 without any problems.But unable to encode 7.1 sources. I converted the source to WMV file which sized around 8.7GB but after importing WMV file, it shows only 7 minutes instead of actual length (2+ hours).Pls advise, thanks!

I have a system with an AMD Ryzen 9 3900x and a GPU Power Colour 5700XT, 32 GB Ram and when I send mi stuff from Premier up to Media Encoder, I get this message and it closes Someone, please help me I need to render like 30 classes I´m working on 😱. I have all my drivers up to date.
