Hi! I am posting this here as I couldn't find any other suitable avenues to solve my problem. I am trying to merge a set of short video clips (some .MOV, some MP4); however, when I try to do some with this app, the end result has a greenish-purple distorted colour. I have only recently downloaded the app and am a beginner with it. I have tried multiple different outcome file sizes and types all with the same result. Any and all help welcome! Cheers.
As in title, I would like to import .ae project to encoder to batch all compositions, and it doesn't work. Video below. My spec:Adobe Media Encoder CS6 (6.0.2.81(64bit))After Effects CS6Mac OSX 10.8.2Project don't have any third-party plug-ins
Hi,I'm trying to finally render out a large project, the project file is ~4.5mb and the final render is about 45 minutes long, and have run into an issue. When Media Encoder gets about 1/3 the way through the rendering process, my hard drive disconnects, ending the render prematurely.Possibly Relevant information:Premiere Pro and Media Encoder are installed in and run off of an SSD that I use for my main Drive (C:).The project file, the data, and the file destination are all on a 4TB HDD, Drive (E:).My hardware is:Processor: Intel Core i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz / 3.41GhzRAM: 32.0 GB DDR4System: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor.Windows 10 Home.I am really not sure of how to proceed, but I'm going to try to restart my computer and render it to my (C:) drive to see if that helps, because after i restart my computer the drive is mounted again, it's just that Premiere or Media Encoder somehow forces it to dismount mid-render.I had considered the possibility that the render was overt
I've set up AME on a second PC that I want to use for all rendering. Got watch folders set up. I save PPro projects to watch folder and it gets processed automatically. The problem is, our videos all end with a MOGRT (motion graphics template) and as an outro, but this AME won't render this, I get "Media offline" error as below.I can export fine from my PC, either exporting direct from PPro or queuing to AME. The projects I work on are all on a network drive, and on both PC's the drives are mapped to the same letter so the locations use exactly the same url. The MOGRT is saved in my Creative Cloud libraries, and I drag into any projects that I'm working on, as it's a standard outro template. How do I get this working? The whole point of rendering on a second PC is to free up my own so that I can carry on working. Thanks in advance.
!!!! Disclaimer: NVENC-export is third-party software that is not supported by either Adobe or NVidia. It comes with no warranty -- use at your own risk.nvenc_export is a NVidia GPU-accelerated H264/HEVC export-plugin for Adobe Premiere. It is a "proof-of-concept" that provides quick encode times by offloading the computationally intensive video-encoding operation to the NVidia GPU's dedicated hardware block NVENC.Compared to high-quality software encoder such as x264/x265, NVENC currently produces inferior visual quality and compression efficiency. However, due to the nature of fixed function hardware, it does offer significantly faster encode times than software alone, with significantly less power consumption. The speed advantage is helpful for turning out many draft-quality videorenders quickly.Moderator Note: Removed. Hi all,First of all I can't use the latest versions of after effects and premiere because it crashes when trying to start up the program. So I am using the version before. Second, AME sometimes gives this error.Export ErrorError compiling movie.Accelerated Renderer ErrorUnable to produce frame.Okay, but when closing everything and opening it again and finally being able to render. The footage that has the Keylight (1.2) on it shows as if missing (with the SMPTE color bars). This is while trying to render it as H.264 (which I would rather do on AE but it doesn't show up). I can render on AE with Quicktime Animation which is a work around but I just don't understand why this requires such a work around to get this working. So, my question is how can I fix this?I am using windows 10, Nvidia GTX 1080 (which is on its latest update), intel 17-8700k, 32 gb RAM.Build 13.0 with AME Build 16.0.0 with AE
I have tried to import J2K files (MXF and other) produced by the Kakadu encoder (from Resolve) - to no avail - I specifically used IMF packages in order to produce standard BCS profiles. For RGB files, I keep getting "Invalid format or damaged file".Some YUV files can get imported but do not render correctly. These files are decoded just fine with all other tools, including ffmpeg. Is the problem with the Adobe decoder? Here are some test files:Dropbox - Resolve-Kakadu-IMF-Tests - Simplify your life
It crashes when it gets to "LoadingImporterPhotoshopAE.prm I've already reinstalled and did not solve the issue,
Hey guys! need serious help. I used to get hardware acceleration on both premiere and media encoder initially but now somehow media encoder fails to detect it. So everything i export is using software acceleration. However, premiere detects my Radeon 570 card and drops down OpenCL settings. How to fix this? It annoys me a lot! Will re-installing from creative cloud helps? Thanks.
I just recently updated PPCC 2019 and I have had several crashes when trying to export from PP. Im using a iMac Pro 3 GHz Intel Xeon W 128 gig ram with Radeon Pro Vega 64. This just started happening recentl. I recall it started during the last two updates.
So, here's a fun one. I have set exports in Media Encoder, they finish, say "done" and then I click on the hyperlink to take me to the file - and it doesn't exist! What? Please send help.Oh, for the people that will be like WHAT ARE YOUR COMPUTER SETTINGS?????? BECAUSE THAT ALWAYS MATTERS!!!!!!!! --- DON'T SPEC SHAME ME! Ok - so it's an iMac, High Sierra (IT guy won't let us upgrade to Mogave) Late 2015 model. I'm using the latest Media Encoder version. Some files have worked, some files have just disappeared. All of them exporting to the same place (a NAS) all of them exporting as H264's. Some files work, some don't. Some from the same project file. H E L P M E A D O B E.
Hi all, I could really use some help please, please, please.I've made a video in Premiere for a client that 5760x1080.I now need to supply him with a high res. .avi file. The only way I can export the media in the correct format is as a Targa sequence. QT, H.264 etc all won't export in that frame size. Would you guys agree this is the best thing to do? It's Mute so I don't need to worry about audio. Then I import the Targa Sequence into Media Encoder and there's no .avi export options. Another problem. Can anyone help? Thanks,Nigel
Hi we have very specific exporting formats, presets only work with ME 12.0 not 12.1. ME 2017 or 2019 also do not let them work. How can I get the version of ME 12.0 on my system??? Have spent a long time trying to figure it out, including pasting a version from a friend's computer onto mine via We transfer (I get error messages though when trying to open). Can anyone help me please?Thank you!
Hello, had this problem since the start of the year were I'd bring a video to be exported, into media encoder, get to a certain point, and either :1. the video would stop rendering, and say it came across an error (with the 'baaaa' sound)2. media encoder itself would crash completely, and pop up with a send crash report3. media encoder would just completely close itself with out a send crash report window checked the error log :------------------------------------------------------------- - Encoding Time: 00:10:2102/25/2019 08:13:40 AM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------A low-level exception occurred in: Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA) (AcceleratedRenderer:10)Export ErrorError compiling movie.Exception Occurred!A low-level exception occurred.Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to file: \\?\D:\Projects\Raw Cuts\UNO\this one 3432.mp4Writing file type: H264Around timecode: 00:13:03:27 - 00:13:03:40Component: Mercury Playback Engine
Hi,I'm using Afer Effects 16.0 and Media Encoder 13.0 When I start a render queue in Media Encoder (h.264) I have this error message...Render Failed because I have an alpha inverted matte layer (well I think this is the problem...) I don't have this message whit other projetI don't want to remove this effect I need it !I already tried to update AE and AME and it didn't work...Can somebody help me ? Thanks !PS...sorry for my english this is not my first language

Hello,I am slowly using my patience - i have now reset my computer 3 times including a complete fresh install of Windows 10 Pro and the Adobe apps (Premiere and Media Encoder)Alas I cannot get rid of the problem - whenever I try to import a 4K video to encode, AME crashes. Finally after the last fresh install (AME 13.0.2 (Build 39)) I see an error message from Visual C++ Runtime - Error R6025Now after the first crash since install, AME just crashes without error messages.Anyone has an idea how to get rid of this? It is driving me insane and costing me time and money.Thank you in advance!
Bonjour,On me demande d'encoder une video conçue au format 1080 x 1920 au format 1920 x 1080 soit un retournement orienté au format paysage (rotation antihoraire de 90°).Et là, je bloque, si quelqu'un peut m'aider.Bien à vous
Is there a way to control colour space in media encoder? In AE you can set profiles in 'Output Module Settings' in the 'Colour Management Tab'Is there a similar option in AME? So far as I can read online it defaults to Rec. 709 and thats it.
Hello everyone!I have got some serious question about diferences between After Effects Render queue settings and AME. In After Effects i can set the sequence prefix easily in the settings there but i cannot transfer my output module preset from After Effects to AME, it seems that there isnt those options...Is it right? Is it alright?I use CC 2019 all is up to date
So I was given .MOV files to edit, which are the ancient file type codecs that Premiere wont let me use. So Ive been trying to open them in Media Encoder and export into H.264, It WORKS, however each time I export it within the first 20 seconds the video skips and then the audio de syncs during playback. Its not my media player, Its definitely happening within Media Encoder during the export and no matter what I try, .MOV to H,264 conversion is glitching out and the files are un usable.Do we know why this is happening or how I can get around it?File type ..MOV. 1080p 23.976 fps.
Hello, I render videos in two machines: one uses up to 90% of CPU resources, the other only up to 20%. The latter renders same files way slower, even though it has more RAM 32 (versus 16 in the other pc) and both have similar intel quad core processors. What could be the reason behind this?
I've been trying to find a clear answer about rendering out of After Effects and Premiere without pixelation. What seems to be happening is that certain elements in my comps/sequences are rendered at a much lower resolution than other elements. So I get a clear graphic on top of a highly pixelated one. I'm rendering everything at maximum render quality using CUDA. I tried purging the cache. What I imagine is happening is that because my original comp/sequence is 4k and my render resolution is 720p, at some point AE or Premiere or Media Encoder says "Hey, we're scaling everything down, so let's render all the elements at half the resolution no matter what their scale is." So the 4k footage looks ok while the 720p graphics look like a pile of potatoes. What can I do to have everything rendered at its full resolution?
hi,My problem same as the title, Encoder started not reading any source from my after effects file.I have been re-install few times, and also tried install the previous version also not helping.I am suffering from rendering a video. Adobe Media Encoder (AME)
I have a file that is 45:00 long and GPU intensive. I am scaling down 2 inputs - 1 is 4k and 1 is 1080p60 - and keyframing the 4k footage to fill in a couple of 'PIP' alpha windows on a plain black overlay graphic. Media Encoder on the Bootcamp side of my mac thinks it can get the encode done in an hour but when I queue up the same file on the mac side it estimates that it will take just over 2 hours. What could be causing the app on the mac os side to be struggling?Specs:Processor - 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7Memory - 12 GB 2400 MHz DDR4GPU - Radeon Pro Vega 16 4080 MB, Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MBAME version (on both mac os and bootcamp): 13.0.2
