I want to burn my video edited in Premiere Pro to a DVD. Can I do this using Media Encoder CC? If so, what are the steps from begining to the result of the video buned onto a DVD disc? And if this can't be done through Media Encoder CC, how do I burn the video to a DVD?Lee
The new version of AME is not recognizing any graphics that I have exported from AE as .mov's when I have them on tracks above video in Premiere.I have been doing this with the last 4 versions of AME/Premiere so maybe I just have a setting messed up, but when I Export a sequence from Premiere in AME that has the described above circumstance, it exports the video as black under the graphic. So lower thirds and any titles that I have animating on that were created (and exported from) in AE that are positioned on V2 above video on V1 of a sequence in Premiere do not export properly when using AME. The problem does not exist when I export straight from Premiere, only when I'm using AME.
I can not figure out why this 16 second After effects file won't render in Media Encoder. It imports into Media encoder, does a rapid encode after I click the 'start arrow' and the final output is a 00.00.00 second still .mp4I've tried different "save as" copies. Other Ae projects work.Running all current CC on Mac Pro, Mohave. One time I got this message and thought I'd successfully kept things in the same folders. ______________________________ - Source File: /Users/christopherhaueter/Desktop/Hopper tribute 2.5D/Panel_12 Final_AME/tmpAEtoAMEProject-Window-panel12_1_AME/tmpAEtoAMEProject-Window-panel12_1.aep - Output File: /Users/christopherhaueter/Desktop/Hopper tribute 2.5D/Panel_12 Final_AME/tmpAEtoAMEProject-Window-panel12_1_AME/Window-panel12.mp4 - Preset Used: Match Source - Adaptive High Bitrate - Video: - Audio: - Bitrate: - Encoding Time: 00:00:0010/22/2018 09:19:39 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Could not read fr
I am trying to export an art project from Premiere Pro, and the final exported video is covered in green lines. The image is supposed to be a light brown. When I imported the video into PP as an mp4 file, the previews appeared like this, but I was able to fix that issue by switching from Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (OpenCL) to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only. I also switched this setting for AME, but this did not change the appearance of the green lines. Any suggestions?
I'm trying to compress some web banners but the logo just comes out extremely pixelated every time.Doesn't matter how high I set the bitrate, if it's variable or constant. Tried all Field Orders, Profiles, Maximum Depth and Maximum Render Quality.I've tried H.264, WebM HD, Quicktime and almost everything else I could think of.The logo is an AE shape layer, however I also tried replacing it with an AI file as well as a transparent PNG.Started of by exporting to Prores422 from After Effects and then compressing, also tried sending straight to AME for H.264 as well as exporting a PNG sequence to import to Premiere..The affected banners are 310x400 px and 1018x360 px. While the logo comes out perfect in the 1920x1080 files. The font and the other icon are crisp. So why is the red logo always so muddy?

When I add an After Effects (Ae) file to the Media Encoder, hit the green start arrow, it renders super fast and instead of a video (15 sec mp4) being the final, it's a still... .mp4 but 00.00.00 still frame is the output? No video? I tried saving a copy with a different name, same issue. Ae is open and the 15 seconds plays fine throughout in Ae

Dear forummembersI have the same problem for 2 weeks now... Everyone who knows something about the adobe programs that I know or that are administrators for my school can't help me because they can't find the problem.Everytime I open Media Encoder it closes and Crash report comes up. I tried deleting the programs, clearing them with https://helpx.adobe.com/be_nl/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html. I wiped my computer, upgraded it to windows 10 pro. Anyone who knows how to help me?GPU Specifications:Crash report:<?xml version="1.0"?><!DOCTYPE AdobeCrashReport SYSTEM "AdobeCrashReporter.dtd"><crashreport serviceVersion="1.6.4" clientVersion="1.6.4" applicationName="Adobe Media Encoder" applicationVersion="12.1.2" build="69"><time year="2018" month="10" day="11" hour="21" minute="34" second="55"/><user guid="12fd14b2-07e0-4f1e-8b37-7a0d4a4c5ff8"/><system platform="Windows 10 Pro" osversion="10.0" osbuild="17763" applicationlanguag
Downloaded the latest, crashes on startup. Tried earlier versions no help. Ideas? Or has anyone encountered this lately? There was a problem with crashing with After Effects a few months back.Bill
Hi there,I'm working on a series of videos to be used in a browser and whenever I export as an .mp4 or .webm from AME it adds a strange gradient to the buildings in the video. (Please ignore the arrow and background, it's transparent).MOV file (correct colours on buildings):.webM or .mp4 file (strange gradient from bottom to top on buildings):Any ideas? Thanks!Sam
When I render low-resolution videos (from After Effects), images that have been upscaled look horribly pixellated. Here is a sample:This issue has been raised in the past in this thread, with no solution given:Pixelation in small h.264 exportsA related problem is that whenever I change the output resolution to anything under 1080p, the estimated file size does not go down, even though the resulting file actually is a lot smaller. This seems like a bug to me. It's as though Media Encoder just isn't correctly handling anything below 1080p.
I just upgraded media encoder to version 2019 and I cannot export videos with sound anymore.I tried different formats and presets, nothing works.I need advice how to solve this problem, or even better I need advice how to downgrade back to old media encoder. Thanks,Goran
Hi All, I had to down grade both my AME 13.0 and Premiere Pro 13.0 to 12.1.2 today. Not really sure what is happening in the background but essentially the exact same timeline and export settings that takes me under 20 minutes now takes over 12 hours in the latest and greatest versions for 2019. After several troubleshooting attempts I uninstalled both and when back to 12.1.2 and its performing admirably. More details below...My System: Mac Pro (late 2013) running macOS Mojave (10.14) Procesor - 3.5ghz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5, Ram - 64 GB 1866 MHz DDR3 Graphics - AMD FirePro D700 6144MBProcess:Using premiere, I am doing a basic 29.97 to 23.98 (both progressive files) conversion. I have my 29.97p source on 23.98 timeline, I'm using AME to export & transcode from 29.97p (DNxHD 220x) down to 23.98p (XDCAM 422). My file has TRT of 31 minutes, using 12.1.2 it exports better than real time in approx. 10 minutes. Using the exact same timeline and export settings in 13.0 this process takes ov
Hello, I am trying to encode a movie (.mov 23.97fps) with AME, and while the file start at 00:00:00:00 time code, AME adds two frames at preview (when I see the preview on the life, the timecode is 00:00:00:02), is there a way to bypass it ?I am encoding with AME cc2018 with PhotoJPEG codec, I have tried with AME cc2017 too but same problem.Thank you all
Hi,I have to create a new encoding preset for Adobe media encoder for generating a thumbnail. My requirement is to create one thumbnail which is not from the first frame of the video. I have tried different parameter and going through the .epr file tags, all the time it is generating a thumbnail for the first frame. In my case, most of the video starts with some black frame for a few seconds, so for all these kind of video, the thumbnails are of the same.Is any parameter or changes in .epr file tags to make a thumbnail at a random position or other than the first frame?
Hey folks. I just updated to the new 2019 Creative Cloud. I am encoding my first project since the update. When I export out of Premiere, everything appears the same and completely normal. When I am in Media Encoder, everything seems normal as well. When I hit Start Queue (green play button) It tells me that is has to prepare 3611 audio files. I don't even have 3000 assets in the project. I literally have no idea where to begin to triage with this project. One thing I did was to start a new project, then imported the project I am working on into it. My thought would be that it would properly index the project files, eliminating any sort of issues. What it did was reassign many of my audio files. I have to go beck, use Replace Footage, and reassign most of the audio. Why, I don't know. When I went to export out of this new project with the old project opened in it, Media Encoder tells me the same thing - Preparing Audio (x of 3611). Then it just chugs away at preparing this magical 3611
Please Help. I always get this kind of error
The latest version of Google Chrome doesn't allow for activation of Flash by the user. Thus users cannot receive the broadcast thru Flash Media Encoder anymore. Edge browser seems to have the same problem. What is the future of the encoder app when flash is no longer supported even by Adobe?
I set up in AE render queue a Apple ProRes 4444 render and send it to AME. AME changes the ProRes 4444 to GoPro CineForm or H.264 or something else that I didn't choose. Anytime I send a render to AME from AE it changes the format and preset I set in AE. From Premiere it works perfectly. After Effects CC Version 15.1.2Media Encoder CC Version 12.1.2Premiere CC Version 12.1.2Mac Pro (Late 2013)2.7 Ghz 12-Core Intel Xeon E564 GB 1866 MHz DDR3AMD Fire Pro D700 6144MB
So I'm pretty new to after effects and for my first project I've done some kinetic typography. When I render in Adobe Media Encoder, all my 3d layers just don't show up in my render. Just black. I'm using ray-tracing renderer at 1080p 60fps. I'm using the default render settings (h.264 [mp.4] match source). None of my layers are "guide layers". I'm using the latest version of AE on windows. My pc has a i5 and a gtx 1070. All the 2d pre comps show up fine, just not the 3d ones. I could really use some help. Thanks!
Hey Forums, So the clip in question is:A 4k ( 2160x3840) 25p clip from a new DJI Mavic 2 pro, its 31 seconds long, and 375MB in size. The file plays all the way through smooth and fine in both VLC and windows media player so the file isnt corrupt. How ever when ever I import it into premiere CC it doesnt work, wont preview, cant scan over it etc. If I put the clip into the media encoder, either the latest 2018 version, or the older 2017 version, it will load in fine, and no matter which output file I select it converts through to about 10 percent, then stops. It doesnt crash right away, but just hits a wall. Then if I try and stop the conversion then it crashes and I need to force quit the program. I tried doing a convertionin VLC and it goes right through and makes a new copy of the file, but when I import the new one it has the same issue as the origonal. Any answers on what might the issue ?Thanks,Jacob
