Adobe Media Encoder

Every day I use AME to convert 3-5 MXF files to MP4 and then upload those to Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter each with a unique title and description. How do I create the queue the night before and then have it process the queue exactly at 7:00am the next morning? i thought about a BAT file that could copy the files to a watch folder, but it wouldn't handle the titles and descriptions. I know there is a "Start queue when AME is idle for x.x minutes". But sometimes I'm done at  5:30, other timers it's closer to 6:45 pm. That delay feature isn't reliable.  So how do I get it to start the queue at 7:00am every weekday morning? Thanks 

Not sure if anyone else is getting this but the last few versions, Media Encoder has started leaving behind empty (0KB) M4V files in the encoding folder alongside the final MP4 files. While this doesn't affect the encoding process, it does mean I'm having to clear them out every now and then, which is a pain. This didn't happen until recently. Is there something I need to tickbox, or is this a bug?

Media Encoder normally takes what I seem to think is an exhorbinent amount of time to initially open. I noticed that all of my plugins are loaded in the same way as PP and AE. WHY? Am I not simply rendering inforation that has already been presented to Media Encoder?

AE (17.1.1) and Encoder (14.3). Both programs updated 3 days ago. After adding project to Media Encoder queue, Encoder launches, but nothing appears in a queue, then Encoders chrashes after 4 minutes. Multiple attempts deliver the same result - crashAlert as follows:Crashed Thread: 34Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000025b118f8Before update everything was working perfectly. UPDATE: Going to older Encoder version 14.2 is solving problems. 

Rendering in AME an AEP a number countdown effect is not added to the render... meanwhwile if i render with AE queue it is shown... I have to render in AME because i don't have the h.264 codec in AE. please help with this problem i'm STUCK!!!

Hi all! I am really hoping you can help me. Yesterday I rendered my AE project which is an hour video with effects ..it was rendering for 9 hours through the night. This morning excited to see the MP4... I found the file size is 1kb ...gone...nothing...won't open... I need to submit the video today and don't have another 9 hours to wait to see if it works or not again... Please help!!!!😖

I'm getting glitches when scrubbing through videos and exporting them. These videos are screen recordings on my Macbook Pro. Examples: Here a glitch appears behind Hillary's headOriginal, No Glitch:       Exported Glitch:               The Same Glitch When Previewing/Scrubbing:            Another glitch I see is a green flash            This green flash appears whether previewing or after exported. How do I get rid of these glitches?   

account management system error code 212 is stopping me playing some games. Anyone any ideas? thank you 

I work on two different computers so I'm not exactly sure when this started but I'm on the latest AE and ME versions.  When working on an old iMac with 8gb RAM, i5, and no graphics card, it renders my 20 sec AE edits in 4-5 minutes.  But when I switch to my Macbook with 16gb RAM, Radeon Pro 460 4GB, 2.9GHz i7 it takes 60-90 mins to render!  It used to render in 2-3 minutes before but not sure how many versions ago.   Nothing has changed in the AE compositions except color changes.  The compositions are max 20 sec long, with time remapped footage, some text, and color grade.  It has never had trouble rendering these projects.   The export settings are exactly the same.  Not sure how else to find the root cause so would appreciate help with that.

Seeing several have issues with the latest update that Media Encoder 14.0 will not launch. I solved it by removing the plugin that stops the program from starting and running. Then take a movie startup and find which plugin is the last one before closing the program. Search the plugin name online. Download the uninstall program if it is not on your PC / Mac. My problem was Melt Core plugin.

Hi, I've been having trouble since Version 14.0 with Media Encoder crashing when I export videos from Premier Pro. It will export about 60-70% before it stops and then shortly therafter system crash. Further, when it does not crash the exported video glitches as in the speed of the video. So a person would look like they are blinking over and over or their hands are shaking etc.  Please help!

Hello guys, We are trying to convert a 90 minute MXF file into a DCP file. But after about 1 hour of rendering its randomly stops without any warning or error. We are using an Mac Pro and are converting to an usb-3 connected external harddrive.  Any ideas about this? What could cause this? Would love to hear any thoughts. Regards,Marten

When loading Media Encoder crashes every time or whenever Premiere is exporting a project " loading ImporterQuickTime bundle." This issue started to happen since the upgrade and is not acceptable. Please help me. 

Hi All, I have a 1 minute AE video that is 4k (3840x2160) and 59.94 (fps).. it has slight animation as well as imported transition effects. I'd like to export the full video from Adobe Media Encoder (version.14.03) in its best quality possible. The project file is orginally from AE (version 17.0.5) ..but everytime I export the video, the final video quality is not as sharp as a 4k video should look.  Is it possible my media encoder export settings are off? Any help with a clear looking HD project would be very appreciated and needed! Looking forward to any help you can provide. Thank you. - Leon

Hi,  When i try to export my After Effects composition in H.265 via AME, it shows me an error. When I export a simple composition from Adobe After Effects into Media Encoder, it generates a .mp4 file, but the video file is blank. The composition is a 5-second video with a 3-letter word to which I've applied stroke animation to make it look like I'm writing each letter out.Thanks for any help. 

Just updated program started but not luanch and quited. How is that happen ?

Adobe Media Encoder doesn’t seem to be trying very hard. I don’t understand why. Here is my setup.Hardware: New Desktop Mac Pro (2019), 12 cores, 384 GB RAM, 4 TB internal SSD, AMD Radeon Pro Vega II DuoOS: Catalina 10.15.5Software: Premiere Pro 14.3, Adobe Media Encoder 14.3. Adobe is allowed to use 330 GB RAMEverything is up to date. I created a PP project with a 2-hour timeline, no transitions or effects. Output queued with these settings: Vimeo 1080p preset, hardware encoding, Profile: High, Level 4.2, 1 pass VBR, 16 Mbps During AME encoding I used Activity Monitor to check out what was running.CPU usage 18%GPU usage 13%RAM used 30 GBDisk: 15 MB/sec written It takes 18 minutes to encode a 2-hour timeline but it is hardly using the CPU and GPU and it has tons of unused RAM if it wants more. Adobe Encoder Program is not working due to a crash.It doesn't turn on at all.

Is it possible to make media encoder automatically send the rendered files to the right recipient? It happens to often that I have to wait until 3 am to go to bed, just to send the files.

When I open a QuickTime file rendered from After Effects, I get the following error: "The document could not be opened. The file isn't comptabible with QuickTime Player."(that isn't the real issue, as I've had success encoding this file with Media Encoder) However, now when I open the QuickTime file (that I rendered in After Effects) in Media Endcoder and encode I get a blank / black QuickTime file. What gives? I'm creating animated videos with no sound and can provide more specifics as needed.
