Hi,After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder aren't rendering. I usually "Queue in AME" but when I do that it says "Connecting to project" forever and never does anything. And if I try to hit stop or pause it crashes. So then I tried rendering in AE and when I did that it came out a black screen and said error. I've tried reinstalling AME, pressing shift while opening it, I even left for like 2 hours while it said "Connecting to project" and when I came back it hadn't gone anywhere. Then I went and tried to render an old project I rendered a while ago already and it wouldn't even do that. Please help me I'm loosing my patience as this has been going on for a few weeks and I'm unable to render out anything. Thanks, Chloe
I use a macbook pro 2019 and it keeps failing when i get to a certain point whats the issue.
Hi,I want to create mpeg-2 videos with 608/708 captions. I drop a .mcc file into the Premiere Pro timeline. Then I want to export out mpeg-2 files for broadcast. I can create .mxf files with the captions. Why can't I create mpeg-2 files with captions? What settings am I missing. I have "embed captions" selected. Thanks,Jason
Hello, I have been looking for reasons why media encoder is stuck on software only and could not find any up to date answers. Whenever I try to encode anything using H.264 I cannot change the setting. Its just locked to software only. I have a pretty beefy computer and it would help if I can use the hardware encoder option. My specs are: Ryzen 7 3700x overclocked to 4.2 GHz, Nvidia RTX 2080, 32gb RAM @ 3200Mhz. Before I switched to Adobe CC I was using Davinci Resolve 16. Encoding only took about 25 minutes for a 45 minute project rendered at 1080p 60fps. Using the same project in Premiere and media encoder it takes between 40-45 minutes. Anyone know if there are any workarounds, or is the hardware encoder only avaliable to intel processors? If it is an option to only intel processors can Adobe consider adding support for AMD Ryzen processors, newer generations are a lot better performers. Thanks!
Hey guys, Anyone ever experienced this before? My timeline in premiere looks ok, all the files are ok. nothing is missing from the timeline or project. But I'm not sure what is this "sequence identifier" that is missing, someone help me, please. I'm nearing the delivery stage of my video project and this is the first time I've ever encounter something like this. I have 10 video output but only 6 videos were able to be rendered. The rest just prompted me the same error. -Encoder won't start the render-Nothing happens when I click on preset or format in AME P/s I just updated my Premiere and AME yesterday to the latest version. Any Premiere Guru/Sifu out there willing to help.... Thanks!
Hey!I'm in a super frustrating situation were rendering a video via the add to render queue (media encoder) is taking literally 4 hours to render a 24min video...surely this isn't rightSpecs of the MacBook: OS: I'm running the latest Macbook on OS Catalina 10.15.2Processor: 2.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7Ram: 16GB 1600 Mhz DDR3Graphics: Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB Note: I'm running ZERO other programs while rendering, ALL files within the document that are being rendered are on my desktop (aka SSD), not an external drive of some kind See below for the specific exporting setup. The document itself is a single screen recording, with another video on top and just some audio files - nothing crazy Any help would be much appreciated, I'm thinking it shouldn't be taking this long but I'm not sure what to do
Grumpy hi... Everything was running smoothly, but AME doesn't start anymore.Neither when I try from After Effects nor from the Adobe creative cloud. This extends aswell to Premiere Pro which won't start aswell! All I get is the starting loading square... which then disappears.I've uninstalled and reinstalled every softwares, cleaned my registry, still not working... Anyone having the same issue?
Is there an API for Media Encoder?I heard that local port 8080 is open.
Hello,I recently purchased the Creative Cloud package, and I've been trying to render this video for almost a week. Whenever I try, however (no matter if I use Media Encoder or Premiere itself), I invariably get a bluescreen crash. The latest error code is 0x00000050, but it's been different every time, and this doesn't happen with anything besides Adobe programs.Specs:OS:Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 TiCPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz, 3696 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)RAM: 64GB Title edited by Mod
I have a situation, where I need a small (96x54 px) video compressed in H.264 - but the problem is that the encoder apparently can't be set lower than 0.19 Mbit/s and I need it set to around 0.1.Is there a way to accomplish that, either directly, using work-arounds or perhaps using another encoder (suggestions, please)?
Hello, since today I can not export any file from ?? I can't neither export directly nor via Media Encoder? It seem it starts "somehow" but nothing happens. It stays at "0%". PLEASE HELP. Thank you. Title edited by Mod
This document lists the customer reported issues that were fixed in each release: Fixed issues in Adobe Media Encoder version 14.0.1 Adobe Media Encoder crashes when a sequence is exported with ProRes media and an embedded LUT from ARRI cameras.
Hello, I'm curently having issue rendering my video with Media Encoder from After Effects. I don't know anything about video rendering so excuse my lack of knowlegde. So, I'm trying to render a small promo clip for our trade show for a 1920x1080 screen. But whatever I do when I send the video to Media Encoder, the format gets "squashed" in height, leaving me with a deformed final render. I've look up so many solution online nothing that I do change this. Media Encoder keep resizing my video. What strange to is that when I render directly from After Effects, the video keep its aspect ratio. I realy don't know what to do from here and hope that someone can help. I'm gonna leave some screenshots here (in french) to help but like I said, I'm don't know much about video rendering and format. Thank you
I just set up a render farm for the first time so I can continue working on my computer while rendering. I have the files being shared through cloud and synced locally to the farm, where AME then pulls the projects and files from a watch folder. However, my project came back looking like this.Sending a project to AME from within AE doesn't reproduce this, it only happens if AME grabs the project on its own from the watch folder. I've never rendered this way before, I've always just ditched my computer while it rendered for a day, but I'd like to get this to work without me having to open the project on the farm and manually send it to render. Google isn't producing any answers. Help?
It just feels like EVERY TIME i have a deadline and normally right at the end of the project when it comes the time to render/export, After Effects or Media Encoder finds some new and unique way to give me problems.. If it's not some bizarre installation or authorisation issue, it's AddToMediaEncoder queue doing nothing. Or it launches MediaEncoder and doesn't add to queue. Or it complains DynamicLink isn't working. Or even adding the composition to the queue manually via MediaEncoder looks like it's working but the progress spinner loading composition bar thing just spins and spins and spins. Or some other new way that i haven't hitherto experienced..And so after navigating my myriad of versions of MediaEncoder and testing each one, i decide to take my life in my hands and open Creative Cloud desktop and and look for an update. But do i update ONLY MediaEncoder, or also AfterEffects - if i update AE i might end up with plugin problems which i don't
I am on Windows 10. Everytime I attempt to install Media Encoder-- it freezes at 44%. I have tried several times every day for a week. 44% every time. I've left it at 44% for hours on end. Someone help. Title edited by Mod
Since I updated to Media Encoder 14.0.1, I have one project that fails to render. It works fine when I revert to 14.0, and other projects seem to work fine in 14.0.1. This is /Documents/Adobe/Adobe Media Encoder/15.0/logs/Adobe Media Encoder.log (with my name & ID removed). If there's something else that would be useful to post, please let me know. Reverting to the old version is fine for now, but obviously this isn't a great long-term solution...Log file created: 1/20/2020 2:19:37 PM ---------------------------------------- Ticks = 219 <18908> <DynamicLink> <5> Attempting to launch dynamiclinkmanager Ticks = 219 <18908> <DynamicLink> <5> C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder 2020\dynamiclinkmanager.exe Ticks = 375 <18908> <DynamicLink> <5> Increase wait time to 2 Ticks = 2219 <18908> <DynamicLink> <5> Attempting to launch dynamiclinkmanager Ticks = 2219 <18908> <DynamicLi
Hi,Amateur Premiere user updated Premiere then discovered newer versions beyond 12.0 were beyond my hardware limitations (graphics card, five year old PC). I'm successfully back to Premiere 12.0 but now I can't create proxies because AME is the wrong version (I need 12, it's 13). I see Adobe doesn't offer old downloads. Any chance someone can't point me to somewhere I can still get AME 12.0 at this late date? Thank you,AP
v 9 doesn't seem to actually be on my computer, but it shows up in the hub. The dot selector on v9 doesn't allow you to uninstall. It seems like there may be an xml doc somewhere or something that has kept a link to it, but I just went through an adobe support person and we attempted to remove it and couldn't find anything to remove. Any thoughts?
Hello,I need to export a large quantity of video files and need to trim the beginning of each one (in my case 5 sec).I'd like to create a preset for not doing this individually and apply it for once to all the files, but it seems impossible... Thank you everyone!Max
I am using media encoder to render my after effects projects and I realised it is using 50% of my RAM and procesor. My specs are: I9 8950HK, 32gb of 2666Mhz Ram, gtx 1080 mobile and 1tb NvMe. What are the best settings I should use for after effects to use 90-100% of the avalabile power? [Moving from generic Start/Help forum to the specific Program forum... Hi, I'm starting a HDR project, and I'm having issues transcoding a H.264 video to a DNxHR 444 video (using MXF as container). The problem is that the resulting video looks very different from the source file, the colors are messed up, sometimes over saturated, others it looks very dark. The source file looks as it should. I compared them using VLC after transcoding, and the difference is evident. The source is a MP4 file, H.264 10 bits, main 10, level 5, 4:2:0, HDR, UHD, 23,976 fps. The resulting file after transcoding is a MXF file, transcoded directly from the source file using Adobe Media Encoder 2020, using DNxHR RGB 444 10 bits profile, with render at maximum depth and quality enabled. Mediainfo shows the correct info (correct profile, 10 bits, CBR with the right fps, etc).I did some more troubleshooting and opened the source file with FFprobe (command line), and did the same with the resulting MXF DNxHR 444 file. The output says that the source file is BT2020 and that the DNxHR f
Using Media Encoder, a client has asked me to export a project 'IMX30, 625/50 30mbps 16:9 in a quicktime wrapper'. So, it's a .mov but using an IMX codec. Is this possible?
Hello, Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer advise here. Cloud version of Media Encoder, noticed the option under PREFERENCES for RENDERER is greyed out and defaulted to software. This HP Z820 running Windows 10 has three Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti GPUs installed with the latest drivers installed. I just reinstalled the latest drivers to eliminate a bad install. I assume the 1080 Ti is more than enough for the GPU requirements? Adobe Photoshop preferences allows for GPU hardware acceleration to be set to maximum for GPU and works fine. Any ideas?
My file has 4 channels and when I export it oly lets me do two channel output.
