Hi there, Randomly a couple of weeks ago, my Media Encoder CC 2016 would not open. The error 'Adobe Media Encoder Error' kept popping up (please see attached image).I tried updating the app and reopening it, with no success. I then uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, also with no success. Does anyone have any solutions?I have a late 2015 iMac running on El Capitan 10.11.6 (I know this isn't the most recent OS too...) Thank you for your help!
I have a timeline that is around 30 minutes long, and though i am able to give out h.264 outputs, am unable to eXport pro res or uncompressed 8 bit files.Weirdly the error being shown is off disk full which is NOT the case at all.I tried in both the thunderbolt hard disk and the laptop hard disk too.And I have more than 300 gigs available on the laptop hard disk. The error is coming in both the Media Encoder and also directly from Premiere.I am attaching the screenshot from the Premiere error. The footage is from 5D.
Can you provide a step by step video of how to create closed captions with the Media Coder. Or please fix media encoder so that the captions can work when you select it.I have set the preferences and set captions to open and encode on video, didn't work. Then it is set to preferences but when I click on captions when the video is in the queue, the captions options is not available. Why is that? Then I read on the adobe help if you put set the video output for quick time you can select code captions to encode in video. That didn't work either. The software does not work for video captions. I said well maybe the format is incorrect, The videos were converted to .MP4, so I tried again to get the video to encode on the video, that didn't work. Tried again to get it to work by selecting closed captions that didn't didn't work either. Is there a particular one you have to select. Then I set the closed captioned and it was suppose to create a separate file to
Hi,Please see attached - on the left hand side is the adobe media encoder render using high quality settings, and on the right is the source.I'm trying to achieve a result closer to the source. Could someone help provide me settings to achieve this? Thanks.
Hello,I would like to have a short video play from within Muse-created website. I have an MP4 file ready to use, but it seems I have to convert to OGG and WEBM to allow for older browsers and devices where possible. At first glance, no such conversions are poossible with "ENCODER" I did discover a conversation on a forum dated 2011, but not much help, What is the situation in March 2017 is there an app within CC which can handle such a task please. I would be grateful for your advice. If this is not possible is there a recommended piece of software that will carry out the needed conversions? Many thanksTony Scott
When I encode a file (ProRes 422) to H264 (mp4) with Adobe media encoder (v2017.0.2) red frames show up in the video. While the master file (the ProRes 422) is completely fine. Also, when I export my timeline in Premiere (v2017.0.2) directly to an MP4 it is completely fine. I have this exact same problem with exporting to MXF files. So its looks like the problem is Adobe Media Encoder. Are more people having this problem, and how can I fix it? At this point I cannot use Adobe Media Encoder, which is a shame...I use an iMac with macOS Sierra (v10.12.3) Late 2015.The footage is from a Sony FS7 camera (.MXF)Thx,Hans
Hi All, I used the same preset in Media Encoder 2017 on two files. The 30 second clip looked nice and crisp and the full length 78 minute clip looked significantly less. Does anyone know what could have caused this? Source material is recorded Red One and it is 3840x2160 at 23.97 fps.Computer Setup:OSX El CapitanMac Pro (early 2009)Processor 2 x 2.93 GHz Quad-Core Intel XeonMemory 16 GB 1066 MHzGraphics ATI Radeon HD 4870 MBAny suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would like to find out if it's an issue with my machine somehow, or just a few settings that need to be tweakedThank you!
When I want to Export something I worked on, it keeps showing me this crash. Please tell me what to do. Should I reinstall just the AME? Because I reinstalled the whole Adobe Premiere but it's the same. Please it's important!
Hey there,i need to set up my system for automatic rendering and i need it to work again even after restart or power-down automatically. So, is there a way to start AME with a default watchfolder already set up, or do i have to manually add the watchfolder each and every time again? Thanks in advance! ipixxels
I really don't know what the issue seems to be as it was working fine since many many months. I can't seem to use Adobe Media Encoder to render projects from Adobe After Effects. I hit the button "add to media encoder ender queue" on AE. I saw that it was now in the media encoder window. I wanted to render it from the media encoder. I then clicked the 'green' button on the right to start rendering...BUT...for the past 30 minutes it's been "Connecting to Dynamic Link Server". Nothing has happened and after some time the rendering failedWhat could have possibly gone wrong? Till yesterday everything was working fineI'm using Adobe Media Encoder CC 2017 & Adobe After Effects CC 2017 (all up to date)Please note:I never had any earlier version of adobe editing productsThe AME and AE softwares are the latest ones as per the creative clouds app (it says all are up to date)I dont have any firewall blocking itI have never moved/ replaced/ edited/ cut & pasted anything in the setup
I'm working on a project where I need a compliant SD bluray stream. All content is originally SD and needs to be in 720x480@59.94i, sadly, both Bluray MPEG2 and H.264 profiles only allow 29.97, which are not bluray compliant. I will be ingesting these into Scenarist. I would normally use Total Code Studio but it won't allow me to change the resolution to anything below 720p. Any suggestions?BTW: I'm using Build 11.0.2.53 which is 2017.0.2 Release
I've been trying to render out a gameplay video, but every time I render it out, the quality is extremely bad. It gets very discolored, pixelated, and blurry. I've attached two screenshots, one of the source material(I know it's not that good to begin with) and one of the rendered product. Any setting that I change from the render settings have no effect on the outcome of the render quality. I've tried setting the bitrate to absurd levels and tried different video formats, but nothing changes. Each and every render, no matter what program(Vegas, AME, or even straight out of After Effects) produces the same results. I've watched several videos that claim to fix issues like this, but even those don't fix it. Every thread I've come across yields no solution, either. The source material was recorded with Nvidia Shadowplay, and it is 1080p 60fps MP4.My basic PC specs are as follows:Windows 64 BitGTX 1080i5 6600k16 GB of RAM2 TB HDDAny suggestions are very much appreciated. I would like to fi
I own a medium powerful laptop and desktop, have the latest update of Premiere Pro, and i am very proud of it without any bugs! BUT! i m working on buying a very powerful new editing system cause i really need to boost the time i spend exporting! Now my question is, Queuing to Encoder takes TOO much time to appear in the Encoder panel, then sometimes export has Media Offline (that is solved by cleaning the cache) but the time i have to wait so it appears in encoder takes too much time ! What is the solution ? and if i upgrade to a very fast editing system with like fast SSD great Graphic card, will it help to be faster or not ?Thank you.
I use a number of Macs with various configurations. While the latest AME 2017 works fine on my Mac Pro, it doesn't even launch on my Mac Mini. The Mac Mini is old (2010) but satisfies the minimal AME system spec specified by Adobe. I had been going backwards with the versions, and finally, CC 2015.3 did launch. FYI, it's the Core Audio that's failing for the newer AME (or at least that's one of the issues). Can your CC desktop admin app tell the proper installability? I wasted HOURS on this.
My machine is installed windows 7 to open the adobe media encoder happens the following error:Error: Could not find registry entry: BaseDirectoryHelp me!Thank you.
I am editing in Premiere Pro CC 2017 and rendering by queueing the project in Media Encoder CC 2017. After rendering, some (not all) of the titles that I created in Premiere are vibrating in the H.264 file. Adding/deleting/adjusting layers and/or key frames does nothing. However, if I export from Premiere directly the issue disappears.Has anyone experienced a similar issue?Thank you.
hi everyone !does anyone have an idea how to encode video in 4k portrait format ?
Hey all..I need to encode a bunch of clips from various folders and the IT person wants to be able to allocate space on the file server before the render starts..Is there an option for me to do that within Adobe Media Encoder for estimated job output size? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks in advance!! PS... I know there is this site but I need to have this done on a massive and as accurate scale as possible.Video Space Calculator - Digital Rebellion
Hi, I have a Dell XPS 13 (9350) with Intel HD Graphics 520. For a year I exported in Media Encoder with hardware acceleration and it worked flawlessly. After replacing the stock m.2 sata drive with a pcie drive, hardware acceleration is no longer available and export times are about 25% longer. Any ideas? Thank you for any thoughts on this.
Hi there everyoneI'm outputting a video from AE through media encoder. The video is 1180w x 530h. The media Encoder preview looks fine, but when I export, it looks squashed.Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks a lot!Export Preview:Actual output:
Since updating to 2017 media encoder I cannot seem to export a h.264 YouTube video. I have to export the video inside premiere pro which is fine but its so much quicker exporting with encoder. the video will get maybe 3/4 through and just pop up saying cannot continur and must close the program. So annoying! Does anybody have this problem Or a fix?
Hi,Finally got around to updating to AME 2017.0.2 today from the 2015 version. Now when rendering GoPro media to XDCAM50i it doesn't render the audio... totally mute when it's finished. The GoPro audio is AAC - 2015 release had no issues dealing with this.
