Tried exporting a 1 hour HD pro res QT file to HD mp4. Media Encoder slow as hell. Estimate job time reads at 1 hour and 20 minutes and it crawls through and eventually hangs about 20% of the way though. Tried updating 2019 and also tried using 2018 Media Encoder. I eventually resorted to opening my old Media encoder 5.5 which is speeding through the encode in 40 minutes. Perhaps Adobe know something about this glitch. My systemLate 2013 Mac 32 gigs RAMMAC OS 10.13.4
I need to use CC 2014 because I'm running that version of AE. When I look at the 'previous versions' in the CC app, it only offers CC 2017 and CC. How can I get CC 2014?
Scenario:I’ve made a 10 second video in After Effects. A music track runs underneath it, the length of the video. I cut the video into 3 segments (cut at 3:24 and 6:12), then export the 3 segments using Media Encoder. I intend to use the segments in a third party program, to sequence them together again.Export settings:H.264, 25fps, audio format: AAC, 48000Hz, stereo, high quality, 320kbps, precedence: bitrateIssue:There’s a noticeable audio gap where the cuts happen, after the videos are stitched back together. Using my third party program or even After Effects or any other video editing program. Identified cause:The segments export from Media Encoder missing their last frame of audio. The waveform isn’t preserved either side of the cut. If I export with the MPEG audio format instead of AAC, the waveform looks different again, but there is still an audio gap, just from the start of the segments.Solution:???I could export the original video without audio, and only add audio when I stit

Using Neat Video Reduce Noise, and Fieldskit Deinterlacer, Lumetri. I know that Neat Video slows the job down 4-5x, and for this content, that is acceptable. However, when I leave the computer unattended for 2-3 hours, the job slows *way* down and "Remaining" climbs past 24 hours. When I return to the computer and start working on it, speed returns to its normal crawl.I set the Energy Saver "Turn Display off after" to "Never". Screensaver was set to go off after 1 hour (now at Never).GPU usage seems to be pinned around 50%. Hello, hopefully someone can help. I recently finished going through 7 videos each an hour or so long and I've made 171 subclips from the those videos in premiere. When select them all and hit export media, all the normal screens come up, it opens media encoder and premiere shows that it is exporting. But only 3 of the 171 subclips load into the queue. I can't think of what I could have done wrong, any suggestions would be amazing. Thank youRoss Campbell
Hello, I've been using adobe creative suite professionally for 4 years now and I regularly use Media Encoder for workflow. After updating to the 2019 version, I cannot do any work while Media Encoder is operating because the rest of my operations come to a complete halt. I've never experienced Media Encoder slowing the rest of my computer until this most recent update. I'm exporting in YouTube 1080p. 29.97 fps H.264Anyone got a solution?
When I export from Premiere via Media Encoder for some reason it ignores the rotation on certain clips. I have clips from my timeline that were filmed on a phone in portrait mode - they are rotated 90 degrees so that they are portrait in the landscape timeline, with a blurred background behind them. When I export via Media Encoder for some reason they are a small landscape clip in the middle of the frame. Why is Media Encoder ignoring the rotation I've done on the clip? This is really annoying because now I have to slowly export using Premiere and can't queue up any exports. More bugs!
Always when im trying to convert ONE project from Illustrator to a JPG image the Media Encoder MAKES HUNDREDS OF COPIES of the same project i have turned to JPG. I want to know what configuration is wrong so i can make only one copy.
Hi guys, Anyone know if it's possible to create a single .mov file from discrete (8channels) audio wav files? I'm trying to avoid having to import the audio into Premiere to create the .mov audio only file.Let me knowThanks!
I have the same problem in three different computers (2 are mine, the other is from a coworker). After the 2019 update I'm not able to render AE comps in AME because some "Slider control" expressions are not working. In AE preview everything seems to work fine, but the result after AME render is not. I'm not sure if any other property or effect works well in expressions. But for now this is what not. And is very disturbing.I ask you to do this and test if AME render it well or not.
Just look:O_o ... btw, don´t wonder: The language from my OS is in German and im a german guy.
Excuse me Adobe developers you gotta give me a solution for this problem right now !!I've finished my animation project with Character Animator and now I want to render it in Media Encoder so I opened media encoder and opened my project via Dynamic Link and every time I render my project , rendering glitches for no reason which means Render Loading stuck when it's about to finish , every time render stuck when It's about to finish .I've been a week waiting every single day for 9 hours hoping my project will be rendered but nothing and you always blame us and our devices and you never blame your products . Hello,I have next question.I export from Premiere where I have an option hardware acceleration cheked when exporting, but, when I encoding in AME, there write "software encoding".Why AME doesnt use hardware acceleration if I have that posibilities.Btw, I have I7 4770 K CPU and GPU GTX 660
hey so probably for the last while media encoder will keep failing while I'm trying to render. I was having problems with this before but it only did it for one project, now I'm having the same problem but with another and it's getting very annoying. i have tried everything I can think of. I updated media encoder and after effects (to cc 2019), trying to render in ae, using different formats and codecs but nothing seems to be working and I really need some help. Also I'm only 16 years old so I may need some extra help/explaining with things. here is the log file from media encoder. hopefully this could help?Export ErrorError compiling movie.Render ErrorRender returned error.Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to file: \\?\E:\Edits\video edits\finished edits\edit 4 final 2.mp4Writing file type: H264Around timecode: 00:00:11:01 - 00:00:11:09Rendering at offset: 11.033 secondsComponent: H.264 of type ExporterSelector: 9Error code: -1609629695-----------------------------------------------
When i make my video in AE and send it off to AME for rendering I get a video with no images at all. The image below shows what I see in a "supposed" fully rendered video... This image is .mov formatThis is all that I see for the entire video. Again, AME shows a fully rendered video. And it works fine in AE. What am I doing wrong?
Hey guys you good ? have another problem with that AME , I just finished my Animation project with ( Character Animator ) and wanted to render it so every time I used to try to render with AME it freezes and doesn't render ( happened million times ) but yesterday and today I tried to render same project ; AME rendered it but not correctly , every time at the last scene --> AME wrongly render it ( Last scene gets mixed and weird things happen in it ) despite I checked my project again in Character Animator but nothing's wrong project works fine and last scene works fine . I asked last time about AME freezing while loading and everyone has the same problem despite they have super high specifications . .Guys this is my College project and I am afraid I am about to fail because of this , I have to render . Can you help me ?
I was sent four music files made by my great uncle in .amr format. While all of us who have Macs can play them, I cannot convert them to .mp3 with the Media Encoder for the one who uses Windows because the AME does not support .amr. Does anyone know another way?~ Jane
The source file for my project is an mp4 I downloaded it plays fine on my system. I bring it into Premiere, it plays in thereI make my edits and get ready for exportI select my file type in Premiere for the export and select my settings (it doesn't matter if it's a MPG or MP4)I queue it up in Adobe Encoder, process it and when I go to play the finished file this is the error I'm getting:I have uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere & Encoder, clearing my preferences in the process. We have another computer in the office with both programs on it and the results are the same as above. Both computers run on Windows 10. This just started happening last week, yet I don’t recall if I updated either program last week or not. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you
I keep getting a pop up saying that my adobe media encoder is not installed, even though I have it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, though this keeps appearing. If anyone could let me know how to fix this that would be amazing!.
I've rendered quite a few videos with audio and text mixed in from after effects, but for some reason it stops encoding, it doesn't crash, it's still responding, it just freezes. I've narrowed it down to the composition that my text is in, I've tried all kinds of different codecs, rendering straight out of after effects, but nothing works. Sometimes this error will come up saying that I stopped the render, but I didn't. - Source File: D:\Video Clips\Adobe After Effects Auto-Save\CSGO 11-23-18 Subedit auto-save 1_AME\tmpAEtoAMEProject-CSGO 11-23-18 Subedit.aep - Output File: D:\Video Clips\Adobe After Effects Auto-Save\CSGO 11-23-18 Subedit auto-save 1_AME\CSGO 11-23-18 Subedit.mp4 - Preset Used: Match Source - High bitrate - Video: 1920x1080 (1.0), 29.97 fps, Progressive, Software Encoding, 00;07;21;00 - Audio: AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo - Bitrate: VBR, 1 pass, Target 10.00 Mbps, Max 12.00 Mbps - Encoding Time: 00:00:3212/02/2018 05:12:38 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------

In both Adobe MC CC18 and CC19--Goal: to create proxies for 4K files. When I go to create an encoder preset, everything seems to be fine, but then as I go to create an "Ingest Preset" as noted in various Adobe publications, the pop up window to create the ingest preset looks just like the "create an encoder preset", and there is only a "Save a copy as" to complete- and once complete it is listed at an encoder preset under format- not "ingest" preset.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
