Adobe Media Encoder

hi all,  have anyone encounter this issue while rendering. I render a 16:9 clip that looks and render completely fine in AE. However when i send to media encoder, it gives me issues, with the images shifted to the side (see images) .  thanks for the tips and help in advance. 

Please allow temporary render files ex: *.acc, *.m4v to be placed into a selected temp folder, not the output folder.While exporting to a lucidlink share the temp files are fully uploaded to lucidlink, then deleted when combined into the final export file. This causes lucidlink to use 2x data which is retained for over 1 month, incurring extra costs. Also, the export is delayed while the temp files are uploading, somtimes for several minutes. See screenshot of temp file and output files in lucidlink output folder. Thank you, Lawrence

Hello! I have recently encountered an issue and I would like to seek help here. When exporting a video using Adobe software, I have noticed a gap on the right side of the video during the media export process. However, this issue does not occur when exporting directly from PR or AE. I am puzzled as to how this gap is being generated and unsure of how to resolve it. I would like to reach out to the experts and experienced users in this forum to see if anyone has encountered a similar issue or if there are any suggestions or solutions you could provide me with. @eckiAMETeam not sure if you're the ones to ask, but I have a couple very specific scripting questions that I really need answers to! I posted on here two months ago and have gotten no response.  I've gotten familiar with the scripting docs (https://readthedocs.org/projects/ame-scripting-guide/downloads/pdf/latest/) and have gotten some things to work, namely launching AME command line with a JSX file and getting it to clear the queue, populate it and start rendering the specified file and it's corresponding preset. But I'm having a few very specific issues:  I'm using the below function to create an item from an image sequence: ​encoderWrapper = app.getFrontend().addFileSequenceToBatch(); but I can't get the attributes of frameRate, outputFrameSize or frameRange to work (I also don't see a way to set whether to include alpha).var frameRate = "24"; encoderWrapper.setFrameRate(frameRate);​ var width = 1920; var height = 1080; encoderWrap

When I export from Premiere Pro by sending to Media Encoder, Media Encoder is bypassing certain effects from the Premiere project. It will export a video that plays fine with no error messages, but the video will be missing a certain audio filter or video effect. I have noticed it happening mostly with "obsolete" effects and with third party licenced effects like Cosmo II and the L1 Limiter from Waves.I recently upgraded to the Mac Studio with the M2 Max. I am running all adobe software through Rosetta so that I can use the effects that are no longer supported like the Three-way color correction, Change to Color and others. I have hundreds of projects that rely on these effects, and I can't simply replace them all. All these effects work fine in Premiere and export fine if I export directly from Premiere. But if I send to Media Encoder it just ignores those effects. I'm currently running Version 23.1 of Premiere, and was running version 23.1 of Media Encoder, but I updated to version 2

Working in the latest PP and AME on MacOS Monterey, I am encountering a strange issue where keyed shots (using Ultra Key) render in AME with the background getting shifted and/or scaled. It appears to be caused by applying Gaussian Blur to add bokeh/separation to the background. (I see this rendering to both Quicktime and h.264 (mp4) in AME. Yet the problem doesn't exist when rendering directly from PP. Thoughts? Ideas?TIA.

Here's what happens to me everytimeI send a Premiere timeline to the Media Encoder queue to render out.Render completes successfully.Client wants to make a change (of course).I make changes to the timeline and re-send it to Media Encoder queue to render.Media Encoder renders my old timeline, with none of my new changes made.It's references the first timeline, even if I re-send my new timleine over.Only way to fix is to re-start Media Encoder (annoying). Bug or am I missing something?

I'm with a Federal agency that has Captivate 2019 licenses for standalone PCs. We can no longer include videos in our Captivate products because Media Encoder is no longer licensed for our PCs. We have other tools for creating mp4's, etc to upload to Captivate but we keep getting messages that Media Encoder is needed to convert the videos. How can we include a video in our Captivate products, and/or how can I reinstall Media Encoder in our stand alone machines?  wtsthree

A few hours ago I read a question with the extact same issue as me:¨I am too having this issue, and the Queue view is visible.  When I choose to import an AE composition, I navigate to my AE project file, but the comps inside it are not displayed or selectable, and the Ok button never enables.  Neither can I drag and drop my AE project file into AME, I get an empty dialog box (I assume it's supposed to list the included comps), and the Ok button there never enables either.  Anyone discovered a solution to this issue?¨First I though maybe my computer or the program was slow so I leave it for a few hours but nothing happend, can someone help me? Hey everyone, was wondering if anyone knew how to get an install of Media Encoder 2021? I have a few projects that require me to edit in Premiere/AE 2021 due to some preview transcoding issues in the newer versions, but I seem to have accidently uninstalled my Media Encoder 2021 version and can't seem to find anywhere to get it back. Right now I'm just editing in '21 and then upgrading the project to '23 to use the Media Encoder of that version, but it's just a bit of an unnecessary hassle. Thanks!

We all know it happens. Half the time, your Windows version of Media Encoder 2023 will just randomly stop encoding your Premiere project file (not a crash, mind you, it'll just randomly stop). You do the thing where you pause, then open Task Manager and force AfterFX to close, then unpause, and hope it doesn't happen again...except, you know, in the deepest depths of your soul, that it will. And when it does, you know that you'll do the same steps again, and again, and again, and pray that the export doesn't fail. (Even though, statistically, there's probably a 1 in 3 chance that it will.)In my case, I'm ready to pull my hair our because there's no rhyme or reason to when it stops. Sometimes it stops when it's rendering a sequence with lots of AfterEffects sequences. Sometimes, it'll stop right at a cut. Hello, I have 100 folders, every folder contains ~ 500 of image sequence,is there a way to batch all folders into media encoder instead of importing every folder ?

I'm trying to create a proxy for a clip that has some kind of glitch that lasts for 12 frames. I'm guessing this glitch happened in-camera or in the memory card because I can see the glitch (green bar on lower third of frame) when I play back the raw clip in VLC. Even though the clip has a glitch for 12 frames, I still need to generate a proxy for it. But when I try to do this, the proxy stops transcoding once it reaches the glitch and I get a "failed" status in Media Encoder. The error report says "encoding failed." Is there a way to create a proxy without the transcode failing? Even if it subtitutes black frames where the glitch is happening.  I can break the clip up into two clips, pre-glitch and post-glitch, and generate proxies for those, but I would rather not do that and complicate the finishing process down the line since this is a feature film. I need to export a GIF version of my video (so it can loop and autoplay when I post it on Behance). I made a video edit in After Effects for my product, the file is 4000x4000 and I need it like that, cuz my other stuff that I recently uploaded on my Behance draft are also the same size and I didn't have the issues with another GIF, except it was the size of: 4000x2000, because it was the first page of the project and it rendered as I wanted it. I tried to export from After Effects to PhotoShop and I get an error, so the only solution is the Media Encoder. I also tried to convert from mp4 to gif using some online apps but it didn't work and now I'm desprate to find an solution, please help.

Hi guys.In the latest updates i´ve noticed that ME is taking too long to render.Some premiere videos, with just lumetri as an effect, that usualy takes 1h to render are taking 3 to 6 hours now.Its a 10bit 4.2.2 4k footage rendered in h.264 - cbr 40 Rendering directly on Premiere is still normal.I tried everything to solve this, and tried to render in my notebook too, but without success. My specs.Desktop: Ryzen 3700x48GB RAMSSD NMVE 1TBRTX 2060Notebook:Dell G15Ryzen 5700x32GB RAMSSD NMVE 1TBRTC 3060I hope someone can give me a light here.
