On rendering with Adobe Media Encoder, from an After Effects project which uses a 20.0 fps frame rate (there are other videos from the client that also use non-standard frame rates that I colud have chosen), Media Encoder with "Match Source" selected puts the frame rate at 23.976 fps instead of 20.0 fps (the actual source frame rate). Note: I am rendering to the H264 codec.1) Why does Adobe Media Encoder not match the source frame rate in this case? It says "values may be constrained by the output format" but as far as I know, there is nothing about the H264 codec that limits it to just what Media Encoder has in it's very limited list box of 12 frame rates. Note. 20.0 fps isn't in the list box. Nor are other frame rates which I have also wanted to use. What if I want to use any frame rate from eg. 5.0 fps to 120.0 fps for outputting with H264? Note: The original source video the client sent is AVC (same as H264) High@L3.1, 20.0 fps.2) Is there any way to make Media Encoder use the corr
I'm using a TNT drive to encode locally saved videos and save them on an amazon s3 drive. Whenever I try to import mov files, I get this message which also says "please check that the file exists with correct permissions. I checked, and they do. I even renamed the mov to mp4 because I read somewhere that worked for someone else.I reinstalled AME, and nothing is working. Please help
I just converted multiple WAV into AAC Files - the duration of the files after converting always turned out way longer than they were before! Even more bizarre is the fact that the files in any media player (Windows, Groove, VLC, Quicktime) were different to the duration showed in the details of the file. I.e. original WAV File was exactly 60 seconds, AAC File Details showed 01:06 and when played in a media player, it would be between 01:03 to 01:01, but never 60 seconds. When putting both files in audition, they look exactly the same. Also, the longer the file, the larger the gap between actual duration of the wav to the aac file. Like a 15 minute WAV File would be around 16:37 after converting it into AAC and the media player would show something like 15:45. I’m super confused and have no clue why this is happening. I also tried different parameter when converting by changing the kbps rate for example.
Rendering a series of premiere projects. Got most of the way done when suddenly they started taking longer.Nothing changed, no updates, no settings changes except for the sound when ME is done rendering, and I have most of the space free on my drive. Even going back and rendering the same project again leads to 6x longer render times then before. My fans run significantly lower then they did before so my hardware is seemingly just not being used. Switched back to just rendering in Premiere but now Media Encoder is actually completely useless. Trying not to lose my job over this.
So i have a composision and it looks perfect on my After Effect but when i export using ME for some reason it's not the same as what i have in After Effect. It's small video in GIF format i'm doing. I'm on new Macbook pro with M1 Max not sure if their is issue with the support of the new chip?
I'm rendering a rather large video file in After Effects, with effects on top of green screened elements, and it seems like I'm runnning into a lot of bugs with the Primatte Keyer plugin. So, I've been rendering the green screened elements out as PNG seqences through After Effects' render queue. The problem is that the AE renderer (while faster than AME) is much flakier, and crashes every few hundred frames. I render to PNG sequence, and pick "RGB+Alpha" in the channels dropdown.Where is this option in Media Encoder? It looks like I get the option to pick " render Alpha Channel only", and "include Alpha Channel", but in both cases I get a solid black background, and not a transparent one.I've included 2 shots of what I'm seeing in AME, and 1 shot of what I have in After Effects. I'm basically pre-rendering a PNG sequence to put back into the larger working file so it's not referencing the actual greenscreened effect and crashing, or glitching the render.
Max Media encoder recently got very slow. Yesterday it worked perfectly fine, now it is very slow and needs 2 hours for 1 minute video my PC is usually very good...Btw every project is rendering slow maybe I just changed a wrong setting
The following problem:Movie completed in 2 languages (D + GB). Film D is rendered out via the Media Encoder queue.I then reset the render status, deactivate the D-audiotrack and activate the GB-audiotrack.Result: Film is rendered out again, unfortunately again with audiotrack D.Question: Can I change this procedure so that the current timeline changes are rendered when the Media Encoder queue is processed again?
Hi there,Installed the AE 2020 update today. I had to manually move the Optical Flares plugin (Videocopilot) to the new folder (used copy paste). AME presets were gone (reimported them). After rendering the video the OF effects I used weren't visible. The workaround: rendering in AE through the Render queue. Is this a known issue, or am I the one making a mistake? Thanks! - Remon
Please Adobe, it's about time to fix the Ambisonic Export with 4 Channels! Thanks!
IM kinda screwed, i need to find a way to get my adobe animation exported to a school platform from a chromebook. i tried to look everywhere and it brought me here. ideas?
Hello, I posted this to the Premiere Pro forum a few days ago but realised it's more of a ME issue so I hope it's fine to repost here. I recently updated to Premiere v14.9, AE v17.7 and AME v14.9, I have been unable to get scripts to work properly while exporting using AME. I have CVS scoreboard data fed into a AE project, which updates scores and other information automatically. These comps are then dynamically linked into Premiere Pro where I edit the footage with the graphics. Using (presumably) the directly previous app versions I was able to queue multiple sequences to encode using AME, and all the script fields would have the correct data drawn from the CSV. Since updating, all script fields encode with Unidentified as text in every instance. I know it isn't a syntax error as 1. it encoded previously and 2. the CSV data works fine when editing and correctly encodes through the PP export dialog. This is my current workaround however it's not at
Hello. i have just installed a new pc with win 11 and premiere 2022, latest versionWhen i try to create proxies media encoder open and gives error..don't even start to crate proxies. I have tried differnt formay buyt no luck.Error say "error in recovering frame X at time xx of file xxxx, replacing frame XWhat's wrong? editI have just find out that if i create proxy from gopro files, it worksSO it seems that issue is with XT3 files, that are 4k, hevc,400mbs
I was hoping the latest update to AME would finally include the option to publish a rendered file directly to a Google Drive account. No joy. I searched for a way to connect to Google Drive using FTP but the only possible solution I could find required Java Runtime Environment. Is there any underground method for doing this that somebody would be willing to share with me? Thanks for reading. - DK
Hey all! I recently got a Macbook upgrade from work and have been setting up my programmes. When I first used Me I believe i made the mistake of pressing 'Don't allow access' when trying to import files from my desktop, and now i keep receiving errors whenever I try, saying it can't open my files / can't access the source. I've since tried un-installing and re-installing the apps, clearing the settings, and restoring older versions of the programme. None of which have helped. Can anyone please help with this issue? Thanks in advance!
Hello! I am currently trying to create proxies in Premiere. The "Creating proxy jobs" message pops up in Pr and Media Encoder launches as usual, but then nothing else happens. The proxy jobs are not seen in the Media Encoder queue and it's as if nothing happened. I reverted back to v15.4 and got the same result. Not a project-stopper necessarily, but would obviously love to edit with proxies! Any advice is appreciated! Thanks
Dear all I need to compress an MP4 of 700mb to under 150mb for uploading to an MLE. I have ME and have tried some experiments, all of which look pretty rough. I have used Handbrake before with superb results. For this project I can't use handbrake for security reasons. Does anyone have any advice for setting? I tried H.264 and for some reason it would not compress. Best wishes
https://youtu.be/J24ucN2Sqh0 I think it's better to see it with video. I usually encode all of source video before edit for edit on my laptop. However, everytime when I try to encode proxy videos, it goes very slow when I turn on other windows. It doesn't happen when I encode with other option(like encode setting for upload to youtube). Why is it happen? I'm using adobe media encoder version 22.11((build 25) and Proxy option is "H.265 Low Resolution Pryoxy" which is already saved in premiere pro. My PC is using Ryzen theadripper 3970X and MSI Geforce RTX 3090 Gaming X Trio D6X 24GB Trifrozer2, 128GB of Samsung DDR4 PC4-21300 RAM(32GB x 4)
I don't use Media Encoder much, but lately, every time I export a video from Animate, I get this Preset Error when Media Encoder launches. I don't know what source file it's trying to open. After I dismiss the error, my Animate file encodes as expected.
Is it still possible to download media encoder ver 14.3? I have a Premiere Pro (ver14.3) project that I am working on and want to use Media Encoder to generate some proxy files. Is there a link I could use to download Media Encoder? Please advise... Thanks
Hi, I tried reset computer, reinstalled several times, deleted every single adobe app, files and cloud for a full reset, used different versions of the Media encoder, and still nothing. When I press to start on the creative cloud is simply does not work. For sure there is some sort of bug, but from my side I tried everything I can do, therefore I would like to have some support.Note: this is the 7 day trial version and I was eager to buy the annual subscription, but if this is a normal behaviour I don't think I'll be able to commit.
Hi gang; I will be rendering a project that will require many animations to be compiled using ME. I will be rendering out the frames from a 3D app like 3ds Max, so the output will be in the form of:frame001.pngframe002.pngframe003.png... Each animation will be approx 100 frames. So you can see that I am dealing with a great volume of data. I need to find a way to automate compiling every 100 frame sequence into an MP4 using ME. My first question is: Does ME support file lists? So if I were to create a text file that listed the frames in order such as those listed above (frame001.png, frame002.png, frame100.png), could I then drop the text file into ME and have it encode that sequence of 100 frames into an MP4? Or is there another way to have ME process a batch of frames into an MP4? I need to minimize the number of steps as much as possible so having ME process a batch of frames at a time is the most efficient way to do this. Any info or su
Hello, I can't seem to find a solution to reduce bitrate of .mov file with alpha channel. The file size right now is ~40mb with 32Mbps bitrate, I need to be able to activate this function to limit bitrate to 1000 Kbps, any ideas?
When a rendering process with Media Encoder stops, the PC always freezes for endless minutes.Tested with different PCs and different configurations. It is much more convenient to terminate the application...
