Adobe Media Encoder

So I just got a Mac Studio M1 Max. Yesterday I was rendering a 90 seconds clip from AE but noticed after just a few frames of rendering that the processors performance meters just dropped from full to very moderate.I retried a few times, but the file just wouldn't export. The issue was resolved by setting AME to run in Rosetta 2. I was rendering with h.264 and the High Quality 4k-preset. Running Monterey. Everything is updated to the latest version according to Creative Cloud. 

Hello, im currently working on a project for school where i have to put all these .jpg files inot one video using Media Encoder (23 edition) and i get this error message whenever i try to drag and drop a picture. I cant even see the pictures if i search for the file using the encoder. PLEASE HELP!

I recently upgraded to ME 2023.  Every time I export something out of ME, this high pitched squeal comes out of my computer (even if the speakers are off).  It doesn't stop until the export finishes.  I never had this before.    To be clear: this is not occurring in the outputted media, but only while ME is exporting. Is there a solution to this?  Is this a known problem? Should this be reported as a bug?

Hii friends, I'm getting a bug since I updated my Adobe Media Encoder for the new 23.0.1The bug is:Whenever I send a composition from After Effects to adobe media encoder it gets that Glich Beep screen, no matter what codec of configuration, I already tried clicking in few things and nothing happen, I'm not finding a logic way to resolve this bug. I already tried to unistall the newest version and download the previous one but every previous than the 23.0.0 is not connecting the dynamic link, so with the 23.0.0 now has the same problem... PC windows 11, GPU RTX 3090 drivers updated. Can someone help me?  

When creating an Encoding preset, not all the installed LUTs, that show in PP, appear in the Lumetri Look / LUT dropdown. Further, I have been unable to import 3rd party Panasonic LUTS using the "Select" option in the dropdown. Apparently, the only compatible LUTs are in a legacy .ITX format? As a result, I am unable to apply a simple V-Log-to-Rec709 LUT to dailies footage that I want to transcode for client use, nor am I able to add such LUTs when creating proxy files. None of the supplied LUTs appear to have been designed as technical LUTs to convert log footage to Rec709.

Hi all, I'm finding Media Encoder 2023 is having an issue where my renders frequently freeze/hang.  I'll set up a large queue, let it run, and at some point in the queue it'll just get stuck at a random point in a file and then just hold there for indefinitely.  I also have an issue where it'll just sit there forever trying to connect to dynamic link but never start the render. There's a trick folks recommend online, to go into task manager, select After Effects from the background processes and hit "end task."  This works to some extent, but not every time and often I'll have to end task multiple times for media encoder to fix itself and continue working. I have done some (though limited) research into my project files itself to see if there's a specific effect or animation happening on the specific frame that's causing media encoder to hang, and I'm fairly certain there's not. In Adobe Media Encoder 2023 when encoding audio from 16 channel MOV file to 4 channel WAV, 1st and 3rd audio tracks has audio but 2nd and 4th audio tracks are blank.  I encoded the same 16 channel MOV file in Adobe Media Encoder 2022 and WAV file and all tracks 1 through 4 have waveforms. I've been looking for any additional settings in presets for audio WAV Adobe Media Encoder 2023 but couldn't find anything that might be causing this issue. I'm using Windows 10, Lenovo P52s.

Hello!Im working with pictures everyday, and i need to post static picture and same animated picture in same place.So i get an issue. Im working in sRGB color space, and im exporting:1.GIF file from Photoshop and its matching original colour2. Mov file from AE and its matching original colour3. MP4 from Media Encoder, and the color is slightly cooler and darker then original.Ive been reserching this problem for a while now, ive tried rendering only with Mercury Playback Engine , it dosent helpImport sequences nativly is grey, i cannot uncheck it, idk why. This is original and exported colors Please, gods of internet HELP 

Hello, this is my first time posting on here, but I need some help. I am editing a video between Premiere and After Effects (both are the latest versions), my export settings for both are a "custom" Apple Pro Res 422 HQ format and the playback, after being rendered (in the Render Queue), plays with no problems.I then take my videos into Media Encoder, with a "custom" H.264 preset (CBR is at 50). The playback once the videos are finished, cuts off the last 2 seconds of my audio. I am not dealing with any video problems with the encoding, just audio. I have tried looking for a solution and haven't been able to find one that works. 

I recently got a new Dell Precision (hi-spec) laptop, all drivers etc are up to date. I have re-downloaded all my adobe applications. All my other application start up and work fine, I am trying to render a file from aftereffects from media encoder and it seems impossible! I try to open media encoder from my applications, from AFE, I can't see a splash screen or anything, it doesn't even appear in my task manager? I've been trying to do this since yesterday, I've uninstalled and reinstalled?   Any ideas?   Title edited by Mod.

If I create a 16x9 workspace in APP, AE or PS with the width set to 400, they all (obviously) set the height to 225. If importing a [for example] 1920x1080 video into ME and lock the "keep 16x9 aspect ratio". Then enter 400 as the width, ME mistakenly translates the height as 224. In fact if you turn of the force aspect ratio link and manually enter 225, it still reverts to 224 when you hit enter. Encoded mp4 also comes out as 400x224 This may not sound like a big deal but at that resolution stretching by a pixel severely softens many elements. Both our iMac and Mac Pro are on Monterey running Premiere and Encoder 2023.The iMac makes quick work of proxies, but the 2020 Mac Pro goes slow and hangs. Once it starts processing the system cpu usage in activity monitor goes way up while the user cpu% is lower which is the opposite on the iMac. The iMac has higher user cpu%, like 82%. A 20+ minute interview took 7mins to proxy on the iMac pro and 40mins. on the MacPro. What could be the reason for this difference and for Encoder showing up as a system process instead of a user process on the Mac Pro?

Now all of a sudden the audio is only showing up on the left channel. Nothing has changed on our part except the new version of Media Encoder

Get this error all the time when I try to add to Media encoder from After effects. Both programs are updated. working on AE 23.0 and Media encoder have tried both 23.0 and 23.1 and nothing is working.Working on mac

Hello,I am creating some proxies with AME. However it keeps on crashing. I have been watching the RAM usage in Activity monitor. It starts off low around 8GB and then cranks up to 30GB and then eventually crashes. It starts off well, pumping out some clips around 20 or so and then slows and doesn't respond. I have tried clearing Cache for both AME and Premiere and my Library. I am trying to convert XAVC 4K 50FPS files to Quicktime Prores Low res Proxy. Running Macbook Pro 2019 2.3Ghz 8-Core intel Core i9Memory 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4AMD Radeon Pro 5600M with 8GB of HBM2 memory Both AME and Premiere are up to date as of 19 Sep 2022 Is there anything I can do to make it more stable? Thanks!

Hey All,  Currently trying to render out some stuff from adobe after effects via media encoder. It was okay until it updated recently and now experiencing problems with it. It just hangs in media encoder at a few minutes. Ive left it overnight and tried several times to re render but facing the same issue with the same file and different files too! It stops at random points and then just hangs. Running M1 Macbook Pro16GB RAMVersion 13.0.1 (22A400)

Media Encoder updated to 2023 verison and ever since does not open as 'an error occured'.

Just installed all of the latest 2023 apps on my M1 Mac Mini. Media Encoder 2023 crashes shortly after the splash screen disappears.

Olá pessoal, instalei a Creative Cloud 2022 no PC em que eu trabalho. Eu tinha versões "alternativas" já instaladas e configuradas, mas consegui finalmente pagar pelos apps para ter mais segurança e ser correto. Meu workflow é After Effects e Media Encoder. Assim que instalei no PC, visto q tinha outras versões anteriores (2017 e 2020) já instaladas, a versão 2022 instalei tambem e rolou liso, de boa. Precisei formatar minha maquina, pois fazia 4 anos que não formatava e queria começar esse ciclo com  a maquina limpa. Aí que começaram os problemas.Uso um Desktop com processador i7 oitava geração - 64 gb de ram - Placa de Video Nvidia Quadro P4000 e uma Nvidia NVS 810. Editei um monte de material no After Effects e tirei o dia hoje para renderizar todo o material, mas o Media Encoder SIMPLESMENTE não renderiza... Hello, I have a problem opening the application.every time I try to open media encoder it stops and never opens as seen in the image, I wait about 15 or 20 minutes but it never happens. I uninstalled it and downloaded it again but the same thing happens. Please I need to work and I need help.
