Hey creative peeps,I am currently producing a video for tv broadcasting purpose in Singapore. The local media company requires that all submitted videos to be in the following format: With the help of the Adobe community forum (Huge thanks to past contributors!) I've managed to set my Adobe programme to output these, except for the GOP length in which the media company asked for 12 (M=3, N=12). In my Adobe Media Encode/Premiere Pro, I don't see the option of setting it. The most I could do is just ticking the two options below:I saw from some other forums that ticking the two would fulfill the M=3, N=12 requirement. Can anyone confirm on this? Also, when I rendered my work into an XMF file and viewed it on mediainfo, it was stated that my GOP format settings is "variable". Any Adobe gurus here willing to shed some light on this? Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure what is happening since it previously worked. Whenever I select a composition in AE to 'add to media encoder queue', Media encoder opens, but the composition never appears in the queue. Also when I drag the AE composition manually into media encoder and hit render, the progress bar gets stuck on 'connecting to project'. Any solutions would be a great help!
I have a rendering problem in the "Adobe Media Encoder" program. whenever I try to render an after effects project, the media encoder program fails, it doesn't render, I wanted to know the reason for this happening!
I have just recently had problems with my video exporting with the correct settings. No matter the settings I change, the exported version remains stretched and different from the matched source. I have consistently used media encoder for awhile and the only other time this has happened was once. I am unsure if it is a glitch, but as far as I know my settings have remained to match the source. Can anyone help?
The document I want to render never appears in AME. Im working on an I-Mac with OS Catalina 10.15.7, After Effects and AME are the latest version till now (jun 2021)This happened with older versions, but after I waited for some minutes the trouble fixed. But now it doesn't work, and AME starts trying to connect with the Dynamic link, and then crashes, so I have to make the render in AE.
I just got a new Macbook Pro (2020) with the M1 chip. After Effects renderer works perfectly fine but Media Encoder either pulls up a kernel panic/crash report or will show up in my dock before disappearing/closing. Is there a fix for this? I've already tried uninstalling/reinstalling.
Im running media encoder 15.2 on a late 2014 mac mini running Big Sur and it takes forever to connect to dynamic link when rendering from after effects. Curiously, the same issue doesnt happen with Premiere Pro. Sometimes it doesn't connect at all, and I have to restart the whole system and try again. Its been like this for some versions now. Any tips?
Adobe, can you please explain to me why in the year 2021 it takes longer to open media encoder than it does to stage a coup in a small country?
Necesito ayuda urgentemente No me abre el Encoder y me tira un error llamado: "Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue"
I'm currently on a Windows 10 and after downloading my finished After Effects project, it said that the file couldn't be reached (as shown in the video above).Any solutions?
I recently upgraded to MacOS Big Sur and have since experience serious core throttling on my computer when exporting via Premiere Pro or Media Encoder. I tried Quicktime files and H.264 files but both types of renders introduce core throttling to 1.0GHz when my rated core frequency is 2.3GHz. Is this an issue with Media Encoder / Adobe or Big Sur? Would appreciate any tips or if anyone has had similar experiences. Here is my machine:Macbook Pro 16"2.3 GHz 8-core Intel Core i964GB 2667 MHz DDR4AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8GBmacOS Version 11.4
The other day I decided I wanted to try the trial version of Adobe Animate. I downloaded the program; however unbenounced to me while the program downloaded it updated my version of Media Encoder from 12.1 to 15.2. Needless to say, I was running Adobe Media Encoder 2018 which worked with After Effects 2018 and Premiere 2018. I have many presets, plugins, templates, and more settings saved to After Effects 2018. I DO NOT want to update to the newer version of After Effects and go through this whole headache process of manually reinstalling, and migrating over files from my previous version to the new one. Is there any way possible to get back the old version of Media Encoder that I had installed? I think it was 12.1. I find this extremely frustrating, as I didn’t even know downloading Animate would erase Media Encoder and update it. Not to mention the fact Adobe doesn’t allow us to go back and get specific versions of Media Encoder, only back one year or so. I’m sure I’m not t
Hello,I have an issue when im exporting h264 files from adobe premiere pro using media encoder 2021,It exports but always with a glich on the video/sound, it mostly appears towards towards the end of the file. This only happens when im exporting h264. Other formats works like Apple Proress , h265 etc.(To clarifty , it exports the video but when i check the exported file, there is a freeze towards the end or even something earlier than that (only on h264 format)) Im using the latest version of Premiere pro and media encoder 2021, and running on macOS Big Sur. Help will be appreciated Thanks!
Media Encoder worked for about 15 files, then suddenly every attempt shows as "failed" after about 1 second. Converting 4k sony files from .mp4 to ProRes 422 LT (for easier editing in After Effects). Any ideas on how to fix this? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Media Encoder and deleted preferences data. Any help is much appreciated!
I was wondering if I can loop a video with adobe encoder? Thanks for your help!
hii! so i've been using media encoder for couple of months now and since I've update media encoder 2021, it has not been opening over since. I click on media encoder then it doesn't open and says it crashes or an error.
Hello, I'm having a terrible time exporting an AE animation into MP4.I was able to export it in a PNG sequence and MOV with no issues, which proves that my file is OK. The issue I'm having is the MP4 file from Media Encoder. (Also from others video converters I found). I'm attaching here the print screens. The video above is the MOV, below is MP4, and then you can see the settings I'm using: matching source everywhere, VBR 2 passes with highest bitrate available.
Hi everyone, yesterday night I finished my 4 minutes Adobe Premiere's project and it is still being rendered in Media Encoder (18 hours, almost a day!). I just have a medium-quality laptop, not an awesome CPU actually, the video includes many 2K clips for slow motion moments, combined with some 1080p ones, video and audio transitions and music. Can imagine all this is why it could be taking so long to finish rendering, but the program does not show me how much time is left, and I do not want to stop it or restart the process because if it is just about waiting, I would have wasted all these 18 hours! Hope you could help me somehow, thank you in advance.
Trying to encode many diffrent types of videos today and get them uploaded. This is the first time I have ever encountered this issue. Random stalls at random times. Videos that are hour and videos that are ten minutes. From recorded video to character animations. Every type and length is stalling. Done the cc clean and such, nothing has changed. Still stalling. Windows 10. Also no error comes up at any time. Nothing in records or files refering to this problem.
Hi, I'm converting some avchd footage from my canon c100 to Apple ProRes 422 HQ using Media Encoder and coming across some settings I haven't seen before. Under HDR Graphics White the options are 100, 203 and 300- I'm leaning 203 since that's the default. And under Export Color Space the options are Rec 709, Rec 2100 HLG and Rec 2100 PQ- I'm guessing Rec 709 since that seems to be the default there. Is anyone familiar with these settings and do you recommend anything other than the defaults of 203 and Rec 709?
When the encoding (translation) processing is finished, I want the source file to be deleted automatically. I translate a lot of videos. My disk space is running out. For this reason, when the encoding (translation) is finished, it should delete the source file. just leave the output file. Is there such a setting in the AME program?
I want my video to be 2x faster, i tried googling but all these people saying how to optimize settings so video (h.264 mp4) will be exporting faster, but I want my video duration to be 30 seconds instead of 60 seconds. I tried using duration changer in video settings but I can only change duration by 10%
Hi,Windows, PP21, AME 21, AE21during a lengthy rendering process into a H.264 format, I had AME freeze about 90%. I'm used to this happening so let us not go there.More importantly, I am wondering how I can recover the intermediate (or interim) file, which is there during the encoding process, but gets deleted as rendering process is finalised. These typically come in format of [OUTPUT_NAME].12345.12345.Before I stopped the render process I tried coping the interim file, but system woudln't let me (obviously) so I tried to 'retry' upon stopping but the file was no longer there. I must have done something out of order as I have resorted to this at least once to speed up rendering process.Any idea where these files are kept?thanks in advance.
Hello when I tray to start Media Encoder, this crash and never can start the program.Anybody know why? Thanks Alex
Good afternoon! Will Adobe Media Encoder (or any other Adobe product) allow me to create a soundwave for a song? I have attached an image of what I am trying to create. Thanks so much! Kim
