Adobe Media Encoder

First  : everything up to date to last 2022 version including nvidia drivers or system.Win 10/threadripper/64go.No extra security layer just window defender. AME fail to connect to project in erratic ways. If he get stuck only a reboot can temporaly solve this issue. Killing process do not solve anything/clearing cache do not solve anything.Ame is responding but progress are stuck at project connection or in the middle of encoding (never the same file, never the same frame)Can get stuck at the beginning of a batch,in the midle, or can works sometime.No after effects plugin. only compiling frames to movie. Tested on simple projects.Error log are irrevelant. Wrong job time log. Only show the classic log header and  " interrupt by user" if you do so .I was not concern by this problem on previous version only since last update.

I need to export clips from AE with alpha.Quicktime ProRes 4444 works fine, except it creates a huge file.If I didn't need the alpha, h.264 high quality 1080p HD works well enough.Is there a way to export alpha with a file size and image quality comparable to the above h.264 format?And without running AE twice?

I have a 19-second composition that only renders the first 1:32 seconds before freezing, then "failing" in Adobe Media Encoder. Pardon my ignorance because I'm not very knowledgeable on the interworkings of how RAM and memory, and all that, but it keeps saying I'm out of memory. I still have 6GB of 8GB of RAM available to use, and my driver is updated to the latest version according to my Mac's latest software update. I've tried exporting on the lowest settings possible while maintaining semi-good quality. Rendering on AE is set to "Mercury Software Only" and on ME it's on "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only". I had never had this problem before until now. Is there something I'm missing here? Something I should be aware of or need to fix?

When I try to open Media Encoder v 22.4, it gets stuck charging Player MediaCore.prmHas anybody had the same problem? 

I normally render to an output folder and then manually upload to YouTube, but I was exporting roughly 40 videos and wanted to automate the process. Here are some errors I am having. After selecting publish to YouTube, logging in, and setting up and applying a preset to all my videos, I received one of these two errors on each video.YouTube(WARNING) - Thumbnail couldn't be added. Error: Invalid Credentials.Request had invalid authentication credentials. Expected OAuth 2 access token, login cookie or other valid authentication credential. See https://developers.google.com/identity/sign-in/web/devconsole-project. What's most important is Error 1. The video uploads without the thumbnail (annoying but no big deal.) However, this is a 4K export, and having YouTube only process it in SD quality is just worthless. Youtube normally shows that it is processing SD, HD, and 4K outputs. However, when uploading through Media Encoder, it just shows SD. I am wondering if this will fix

Hi,  I've to export a bunch of media, between 30second to 2min more or less, but it take a while to export, about 40 minute to 1hour+ for each ! I did the exact same work months ago and it was just fine with older version.Why is it so slow ?? Thanks for your help The effects I use are : Color lumetri, UltraKey, and a Beautybox (by digital anarchy).I've already looked if metal is checked in Premiere and Media encoder (it is) and I work on a Mackbook Pro 2018, i7, Radeon pro Vega 20 4go, 32go RAM, last version of Premiere and Media Encoder.

Eu faço a edição no premiere, com todos os audios mixados e nivelados, mas o adobe encoder não está renderizando com volumes difernetes. Pelo premiere consigo normal, mas pelo encoder fica dando esse erro.

Kennt hier jemand oder gibt es überhaupt eine Möglichkeit Dateien im Media Emcoder nicht mit dem Sequenz, sondern dem Projekt Namen zu exportieren? ansonsten müsste ich jetzt in der Produktion 50 Sequenzen umbenennen

I am new to media encoder and was trying to render my after effects video using media encoder by watching a tutorial, but dont know this gets failed everytime. i tried to directly export it through AE and also tried to export the AE video separately and then compressing it using Media encoder. this is the screenshot. Hi!I have the latest After Effects and the latest Media Encoder - whitch is failing rendering all the time. I tried all the tricks from the internet and youtube:-updated the driver-changed CPU to software-rendered it to an other drive-purged the hell out of it-changed Bit Depth etc.. uninstalled, installed and uninstalled again, and NOTHING WORKS. It happens with every project, so I don't think suddenly all my imported footages were corrupted in any way. Rendering from the render queue is working perfectly, but when I try with Media Encoder the first render sometimes! working, but never again (until restart). Please help me, I'm really clueless.

I usually upload videos to client folders on my ftp site using custom presets.  This has worked flawlessly for years.  Now it doesn't.  Now it just uploads a 0kb file with the video filename.  Other times it will work OK.  I have deleted and reinstalled AME.  I have also deleted and reinstalled Adobe Cloud.  Any help would be appreciated.

For over two years now I have experienced the AME working and not working. Launching, not launching. How does this go on for this long? I have new mac hardware. I have unintalled reinstalled etc etc.. Today again it will not launch from any application and only works when it is already open. How Adobe, do you let this stuff get out? better question is why is this not just a dialog box instead of a seperate app? 

Hi,I use a certain software to analyse videos but this software only supports .avi videos.I am trying to stitch together muliple .mp4 videos to export one .avi video.Up until now I have used the program Xilisoft to do this (so I know it can be done) but it is extremely slow and painful.I have figured everything out using Adobe Media Encoder but cannot manage to export a video with a bitrate of 12000kbps. In fact, I cannot find any setting to manually change the bitrate for an .avi export.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Cheers

I've only just started using Creative Cloud on Windows for the first time. I've been needing to convert some .ts files to MP4, so naturally turned to Media Encoder. After choosing my settings and whatnot, I press play, only to find that nothing happens and it seemingly never initiates. Is there something I'm doing wrong? What could be done to solve this issue? Any ideas welcome and appreciated

I have a video that I want to rencode to a smaller file size. The original file size is 16 mb, but when I input it into Media encoder, even though I had set the bitrate to 0.19, the size size somehow jumped up to 50mb. I tried turning down the resolution hoping that would decrease the file size, but no, its still the same file size. Can anyone help me with this issue?

Hi there, Our department recently migrated to the new Macbooks (2021 16in M1 Max). I just installed CC and downloaded After Effects (22.4) and Media Encoder (22.4), but they don't seem to work with each other in this computer. "Add to Media Encoder Queue" opens Media Encoder, but doesn't import the project."Add to Render Queue" then "Queue in AME" sends it to Media Encoder, but I can't edit any settings, and it returns an error when trying to start queue. This is as fresh of an install as it gets. Brand new computer, brand new install of CC, ME, and AE. I didn't have this issue with our old computers, so I'm wondering if it's a Monterey issue, or maybe an M1 compatibility issue? No clue. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi there, using the latest release of redgiant (maxon one). Latest versions of AE and ME 22.4.When I use one of the RedGiant plugins in a comp, it is no longer possible to export to ME.Doesn't matter which Plugin (Shine, Starglow, Tao...) Looking through the forums on this topic, this has been a problem for years! Which is incredible. With each update the fear increases that something might stop working instead of getting better....I would be very grateful for a solution to the problem at last. 

So until yesterday I was very conveniently exporing my mov files directly to webM in media encoder just by chosing webM in the drop down list. Today that option simply disapeared. What's the solution?Thans

Hello,I've noticed that exports done through Media Encoder has a much worse results, quality wise, than exporting the same thing with the exact same setting directly through Premiere. I started noticing this earlier this year especially looking at texts and still images (like logos) included in the videos. So I opened up a project from last year wich had a perfect image after exporting through Media Encoder and made a new export with the same settings, and the quality dropped. I then made another export of the same project in Premiere directly and the quality jumped back up to the origional standard. Like I said it is most visable in text and still images so to give you an example I imported a jpg in a 4k timeline and then exported it as a normal 1080p h264 clip, 35mbit/s VBR 2 pass export, once in premiere and once without changing any settings in Media Encoder. Hopefully you can se the difference in the image below:   The actuall video looks ok on the Media Encode

Hello, I'm having problems with media encoder, I currently have a composition with 1200x675 dimensions set but when I export it using ME it changes to 1200x674 and I can't manually change it to 675 even if I have unchecked the boxes. It goes back to 674 when I hit enter. But it renders correctly if I try 1200x676. I hope someone can help me  

The only way I can get ME to export sound from an AE comp is to first render it out w/sound as Lossless. Re-import that back into AE, and then render that files in ME.Frustrating.  

I have an issue with AME version 22.4 on Mac. I tested on my Macbook Pro and my iMac.I click "Create Proxies" in PPr - AME starts. Then I stopped rendering "Reset Status". And now my problem "Interpret Footage" is greyed out. I need this for the slow motion footage proxy workflow.

Hello, first time posting so I'll try my best... I've got a series of lectures all with a AE mogrt at the front saying Lecture 1, 2, 3...  I made a mogrt template in AE with the base animation saying "Lecture 1".  Importing and exporting from PrPro is not a problem (Image 1); I can use the Essential Graphics panel to change the lecture numbers.  But since I have 30+ of these, I figured I should do it using AME instead.  But when I go to export in AME, all of the lectures have the "Lecture 1" text (Image 2). I read similar threads with AME and mogrts discussing a "Import Sequences Natively" option in AME, but this is greyed out for me (Image 3). Also, this might be related, but the thumbnail image of the .morgt as it appears in the PrPro timeline reflects the orginial .mogrt export which read as "Lecture 1" (Image 4).  But the program and essential graphics panel displays them correctly...?  So its almost like a glitch that is ignored in PrPr

Bom, depois da atualização mais recente 22.4, não tenho conseguido mais exportar vídeos pelo media encoder, já fiz limpeza de disco, de cache e tudo mais, de ambos os programas, já desinstalei e instalei, e continua não aparecendo absolutamente nada no Media Encoder quando clico para "Adicionar a fila do Media Encoder". Meus trabalhos estão todos atrasados agora, porque não consigo exportar mais 1 vídeo sequer...
