Hi,I'm switching over from Episode Pro for my compression/encoding needs and was hoping a function we used all the time is possible in Media Encoder. We encode our videos to multiple formats for the various demands of our clients, and a couple of them require 2 seconds of black before the video starts. In Episode I had a preset with the 2 seconds added so I could make all my encodings in one pass. I added the master, then added all the presets I wanted and hit start. I don't see anything in the settings within AME that lead me to think this is possible. I know I can create an additional master with 2 seconds black at the head and then send that to AME but that's an extra step I'd like to skip if possible. Thanks for any advice,Steve GoldbergCC2018
Thanks adobe for ruining my week AGAINI cannot render anything anymore from AE to AME.... WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON.every time i got the faultcode -1609629695 PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ADOBE STEP UP YOUR GAME AND FIX YOUR SOFWARE FOR ONCE!!!!! EVERY ADOBE UPDATE IS LITTERLY A DOWNGRADE HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE FOR A PAYED SUBSCRIPTION???????
I think I might know what's causing this, but I was hoping someone here might know more about my issue. I start an encode que and then lock my screen. at some point later, it seems AME just closes. I beleive it is related to the monitors being off. Can anyone confirm this thoery or know of a fix? If that is the problem, I'll just turn off my new monitor and leave it open on the old one. If there isn't a better option. All of my exports have this in their respective log files:[2022-05-16_10-12-13][15892][Warn] [general] We are going to deprecate hostInfo access soon. Please use HostInfoController instead.[2022-05-16_10-12-13][15892][Warn] [general] We are going to deprecate hostInfo access soon. When I am rendering my project through Adobe Media Encoder, it is very fast at the beginning but gradually slows down later on. I opened and checked the output folder. It produces frames very fast during the first 2~3 minutes. Almost 20~30 frames per a minute. However, it makes barely 2~3 frames only in the end. Why is this happening? It doesn't matter which project I render. It happens to all projects. Even though all frames have basically same quality and effects. (My projects are not even complicated or heavy.) I googled it already but it seems like no one has this issue. Does anybody know why it happens and the solution?
Hi, I'm using AME to render my video from After Effects. I used to get the same error code for the renders (-1609629695) all the time, but all of sudden it was working fine for a few renders. And now I'm getting the error again. For different compositions, this has been occuring often, and I couldn't figure out what is causing this error or find any information about this online. So recently when I sent a project to export from premiere to Media Encoder the exported video file did not match what I edited. For example, I recently worked on a simple photo montage for a client. No transitions, just some simple keyframing. Nothing crazy at all. When I was done I sent it through Media Encoder and in the final export, the images were in a totally different location in the frame. So instead of the photos being in the center, they were located in the lower right area of the screen. BUT if I export it using Premiere there's no issue. Any ideas what is going on here?
Updated to V.22.4 Media Encoder and have noticed that my export times are excruciatingly slooooooow.... I'm using M1 Macbook Air. What used to take about 20 minutes for a 10-minute video now takes HOURS!!! WHY??????
Hi,I'm a novice, saw many tuto, but no effect... Media encorder takes days to convert my 40 seconds videos (from media effects) and in the end it blocks. I don't know what to do anymore, can you help me?
And just like that, 2 days ao it was working, and today its not. Why? Cannot figure this out. Just an empty workplace, no visualisaion of the clip I sent from Ae for render. Simple file of tops 4sec. Why is that? Drives me mad.Help!
I've been having some compatibility issues with my computer and After Effects and Media encoder (v22.4 build 53). I have a laptop with an intel i5 1135G7 core and Intel Iris Xe GPU. Other users have reported some issues with this setup (namely, preview area freezes in AE and rendering freezes in ME), but I've found I can mostly resolve them by switching off hardware acceleration in my Adobe programs wherever possible. My issue is that these settings don't all seem to save when I exit M.E. I'm specifically talking about the dropdown menu below the render queue that I've drawn a box around in the following image. I can switch to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only, but the setting reverts back to hardware accel the next time I open the program.Having to toggle this setting every time I open up ME is holding up my mostly script-based workflow. Is there a setting that I've missed somewhere that will keep this dropdown menu from reverting from software only to hardware accel?
I was rendering video after video each week for my YouTube channel. Media encoder was just fine but after a few testings and modifications I made to the video with the latest 2022 update it starts off by rendering a few frames and then suddently stops! No messages. Just stops. When I look through the task manager I can see the "Adobe After Effects" processor not using my CPU to render. It's almost like it wants to stop whenever it wants. I tried everything and I almost punched a hole to my monitor because of this suddent decision the program made.my CPU is an i5-10600K with a GTX 1650 Super. I'm using GPU acceleration when rendering as well. All the plugins I use are RedGiant Trapcode, Saphire, Videocopilot Twitch.
Currently I am using official version of AME CC 2019.when I export my HEVC videos that filmed with GoPro7 with 60FPS 4k, I get test pattern.Weird is, it works perfectly fine on After Effect. It plays with no problem. But when I try to export movie with AME, I get test pattern.I also set with HEVC(h265)Please help.
Im having a lot of problems with media encoder, it get stuck in the dynamic link, reading XMP or something like that, I have all ready installed and unimstalled everything like 3 times I'm really loosing my head
I don't know what is happening. Everytime I send my clips to Media Encoder, my whole PC will get bogged down and struggle to see the clips sent to encoder. Some times it works, some times it doesn't. Constantly getting the two error codes "GPUSniffer.exe" and "CRlogtransport.exe". Not sure what is going on, I have tried a number of troubleshooting options including, ADobe CC cleaner tool, graphics card driver updates, PC Restarts, Windows Updates, retransferring footage, using a different hard drive and nothing seems to work.
I started the rendering of like a 3-4 minute video, which usually takes less than 30 minutes to render. It's taken over 11 hours and still thinks it has 5 hours to go. On a 3-4 minute AE project video in Media Encoder. WTF is going on!?
This seems so random - starts rendering multiple AMEs - or just the one.All the cpus up to max, then drops to3% and the render just sits there doing nothing. This seems like a legacy problem, it's also happening with the ME M1 Beta. If I quit ME it's hangs and have to force quit.If I force quit aerendercore it resatrts and will start rendering again but causes audio problems. Running on MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021) 32GB
Hi!How can I use a watch folder to convert a sequence of PNG files to an MP4?Thanks!
Its' been a looooong time since I've used Flash (now Animate) and I'm having some trouble figuring out how to encode my videos properly without it changing the dimensions of my videos. I've burned about 4 hours trying to figure this out myself... so here I am. Here's what I've done:1. I created two set of short animations in Animate (5 second videos) that are two different sizes (1200x675 and 1440x1080) which I will need in two different formats (mov and mp4).2. Export > Video (all are approx 475mb files before I encode them)3. Then I dragged those .mov files into the Media Encoder queue4. Change format to Quicktime or h.264 (I need some in each format)5. Edit the preset • uncheck "Export Audio" • Basic video settings » select Match Source6. Press play.... Here's the problem:1. The videos that I encode as .mov are still 100mb — I believe these come out the correct dimensions.2. And the videos I export as .mp4 come out around
I tried to batch export 12 sequences (6 x :10, 6 x :15) to H.264 and Pro Res, it would export one sequence and stall for the rest.Pause does not work. I tried switching the Renderer to Software Only, deselected "Import Native Sequence from Premiere" = nothing works or changes. I have to "stop" the action and reset the status to try again. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt but nothing is changing in the source files I use in my sequences or the export file location where I want them to land (main disk on Macbook Pro). I even updated to latest Media Encoder, same problems. (Because this is a work computer, we dont always update to latest versions unless instructed to do so, for compatiblity with other plugins etc). Premiere 22.1.2 (Build 1)Media Encoder 22.3.1 (Build 2)
When trying to convert VOB files to MP4, Media Encoder only outputs a few seconds of the file. What am I doing wrong?
Been working on some BRAW and SLog3 videos the past week and it is highly disappointing that Media Encoder, for some reason, cannot recreate the exact colors I graded my footage at. I have confirmed that this only happens when a video is rendered in Media Encoder and not Premiere nor After Effects. The temporary solution I have at the moment is to render the videos in-app and basically cripple one computer to render a single project at a time instead of being able to work on another while being rendered in Media Encoder.I hope that there's an actual configuration that needs to be followed because I have not seen a single one yet for the past few days I have been researching this issue.
I have a repetitive problem with sending AE compositions to ME: when I choose Composition -> Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue (or use keyboard shortcut), the composition does not appear in the ME queue. While:- ME is launched, and if I quit it, repeating the action does launch it again, but the queue remains empty — the sent composition doesn't appear there;- the .aep file is created in the _AME folder of the project folder each time I repeat the action.OS reboot solves the issue for one time: I can render another compostion just once, and then I start havign the problem again.Virtually it makes it impossible to use Media Encoder for After Effects, as each render requires OS reboot. I need to make dozens of them. System details:After Effects 22.0.0Media Encoder 22.0macOS Monterey (12.0.1)MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018)
I updated my premiere pro, but now whenever I try to open my projects it comes up that my scratch disks are protected, even though nothing has changed. Then when the project finally opens, it says the media is offline but the link media box doesn't pop up. When I try to manually link the media, my external hard drive where the data is located won't open in the app, yet it's fine on my computer.
When I try to export an audio file (both WAV and MP3) out of ME, and I go to the folder I exported it to, I can't see the edited audio file. It says it's downloaded, but it really hasn't done so. I have no idea why this happens and I'd like some help.
