I'm trying to render an AE comp by sending to AME queue that has the OpenColorIO plugin in it, but it keeps failing. The error log says "Could not read from the source. Please check if it has moved or been deleted." I have narrowed it down to the OpenColorIO plugin as the one piece that causes the render to fail before it even starts. When installing the plugin it is just a drag-and-drop into the AE plugin folder. Can I add this plugin to Media Encoder? And if so where do I put it?
Been seeing this error way too much recently. This is what it says: Export ErrorError compiling movie.Render ErrorRender returned error.Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to file: censoredWriting file type: H264Around timecode: 00:00:04:26 - 00:00:05:20Rendering at offset: 4.867 secondsComponent: H.264 of type ExporterSelector: 9Error code: -1609629695 I will not let me export a video for work. I'm trying to export a video from Premiere Pro to Media Encoder, on a MacBook Pro. (Both programs are up to date as of today.) I'm used to seeing Media Encoder open automatically upon pressing "Queue". Now, however, I get an indication that the video is exporting - I don't know where - and Media Encoder doesn't open automatically. When I open it manually, the video's nowhere to be found.(I've set up the video to save in "iCloud Drive," but I can't find it there either.)Please help ... thank you!

Hi everyone,I have a finished edited project which i want to export, but it gets stuck at preparing audio 2/2 everytime.I tried restarting and reïnstalling both premiere pro and media encoder, but nothing worked yet. After a while it just closes itself. This is what the encoder gets stuck at:
I have seen a hundred posts about this issue dating back at least 6 years, and I haven't seen a consistant solution. I am running the latest AME (14.6) and AE (17.5.1), but every time I push a comp from AE to AME the dynamic link error comes up. Since I pay over $600 a year for these programs, and I spend about 20% of every workday trying to fix or find a work around for some issue with these apps, can someone walk me through a solution to fix this error? My system is macOS Catalina 10.15.7, 4 GHz Quad Core Intel i7, 32gb RAM.
Hi,I have been using media encoder for a while now.I initally had 8GB memory on my laptop, which houses a 4 physical core (8 logical ) core CPU.I usually encode videos at 4k resolution for uploading to Youtube. I recently opened up my laptop to upgrade to 32GB RAM. It has made my system more fast, when using Adobe Apps. However, I see no speed up in the encoding of my videos. I have a 13 minute video currenly beinfgencoded at 4K, It says the estimated time is going to be 7 hours. I opened up my Resource Manager, and I see the system is only using 49% of the CPU, and only 47% of the memory, and 3% of the disk while the encode is going on. There seems to be a lot of horsepower in the machine that is going under-utilized while encoding with Adobe Media Encoder,, what should I do to get maximum resources to be used solely for encoding. Additional info:I have CUDA enabled GPU, with the latest NVIDIA drivers, my GFX discreet GPU is
Can I render in adobe media encoder with alpha channel? Or a similar encoder? I'm basically want to make lower thirds and import it in vegas afterwards... I can't use greenscreen in the bg because the colors get messed up... So i basically need tranparency... Anybody can help me out?
Hello if anyone could help me please, i installed media encoder in a fresh new PC, and 20 sec after i open it it closes, with no error message, anyone have the same problem?
I am running the trial version of Media Encoder CC and have no prior experience of this sort of software (apologies for limited knowledge and I hope this mean my question has an easy answer!). I experimented by trying to convert some m2ts files to mp4 using the default presets chosen for me. The first conversion worked fine then, when I tried a small batch (or any single file since), I get a "not currently encoding" message. I have no idea why.Any help in rectifying would be much appreciated?Maurice
Hello!Does anyone know how to change the format settings of an MXF OP1a XDCAM HD422? I need it to be "open/complete" but ME automatically exports as "closed/complete" and I don't know how I can change that. These are the settings that I need to follow for broadcast (I managed to get everything right, except the Format Settings, which is "closed/complete" instead of "open/complete"): Format MXFCommercial name XDCAM HD422Format profile OP-1aFormat settings Open / CompleteVideoFormat MPEG VideoCommercial name XDCAM HD422Format version Version 2Format profile 4:2:2@HighFormat settings, BVOP YesFormat settings, Matrix CustomFormat settings, GOP M=3, N=12Format_Settings_Wrapping FrameBit rate 50.0 MbpsWidth 1920 pixelsHeight 1080 pixelsDisplay aspect ratio 16:09Frame rate 25.000 fpsColor space YUVChroma subsampling 4:2:2Bit depth 8 bitsScan type InterlacedScan order Top Field FirstAudioFormat PCMFormat_Settings_Wrapping Frame (AES)Bit rate mode ConstantBit rate 1152 KbpsChannel(s) 2 chan
Hello,I am trying to encode lowres samples and set the bitrate to 0.4 mbit/sAME ignores it and uses about 1.3 mbit/s instead.Anyone know what's up with that?Thx!
I always use Adobe Encoder to export projects from After Effect but today it is not working, I export the project from AE and it does not appear in Media Encoder, I tried to uninstall and install the program and the same thing happens, I have a Macbook Pro 16 inch 32 ram memory. Please someone else is experiencing this and how you guys are solving it. Thank you
I have a 4k Pro Res 422 master and want too make a HD H264. It is a web serie and has 9 minutes. My export set up is: Format: h262Preset: High bitrate1920x108023, 976Bitrate encoding: VBR, 1 pass Have been trying this for a while. The computer crashes every single time. It freezes the computer. So I need to turn off and turn on again the computer. I am using version 14.5 and 13.1.5. After insist using media encoder, try it in DaVinci and work very well. Faster and smoother than Media Encoder. Why does this happen? Thanks
I have used use Character animator to create the video, then media encoder to render out the video. I am receiving this red filter on all the videos I am trying to render. Has this been seen before?
Hi all. Thanks to my new Mac Pro, rendering projects from Premiere is now faster than ever. My most common flavor is h.264 for vimeo. The odd thing is that rendering audio now takes longer than rendering video. I usually apply audio effects such as EQ, reverb, compression and limiting. A half-hour program now takes about 7 minutes to encode but over half the time is spent on processing audio. Activity Monitor shows little or no CPU usage. When it starts working on video, CPU and GPU roar to life. My audio hardware is a simple D/A box for monitoring and analog inputs, a Focusrite Scarlett. Does anyone have any thoughts on why rendering simple audio effects now seem to take the most time?
Hi, experts. I've updated my hardware and now I can't export from AE to AME queue. Whenever I try to do it, AME gives me a poker face and pretends this is none of it's business. However, when importing an AE project directly from AME, then AME starts the never ending quest of connecting to the mighty Dinamyc Link Server where, apparenlty, only good hearted noble warriors can reach and AME is none of that. The only turnarround I could think of is rendering to AVI on AE, import the AVI file on AME and then converting it to MP4, but this solution is ridiculous and very time consuming. Ain't nobody got time for that... AME version: 14.6AE version: 17.5.1 (Build 47)OS: Windows 10 Pro x64My setup: Intel I7-10700K / 16gb / RTX 2060 So pretty please with suggar on top, can ANYONE help?
I'm currently sending AE Comps via this function to AME: function getAEComps(myType,myName){ for (i = 1; i <= app.project.numItems; i++){ if ((app.project.item(i) instanceof myType) && (app.project.item(i).name ==myName)){ return app.project.item(i); } } } function sendToRender(what){ var currentRender = app.project.renderQueue.items.add(what); if(currentRender.outputModule(1).file === null){ // If no Output path is set, set a default one to ensure send to AME is working var om1 = currentRender.outputModule(1); var new_path = "~"; var new_dir = new Folder( new_path ); new_path = new_dir.fsName; var new_data = { "Output File Info": { "Base Path":new_path, "Subfolder Path":"RENDER", "File Name":"default" } }; om1.setSettings( new_data ); } } var dynamicCreationFolder = getAEComps(FolderItem,"DYNAMIC"); sendToRender(dynamicCreationFolder.item(1)); app.proj
I'm having a consistent, repeatable issue with Media Encoder queues. I'm creating queues of 2-6 videos, each 8k x 8k sequences rendering to 4k x 4k ProRes 422. The first video renders fine, somewhere between 2-4 hours. But the second video starts and then shows render times in the dozens to 100+ hours. It doesn't crash or hang per se, but the render times are absurd. I stop the render, restart the PC, open AME and reset the queue, then the render time is back to 2-4 hours. Once the second video in the queue starts, the same thing happens and I have to restart again, so it's not really a queue. I'm guessing there is some issue w/ the system not clearing / resetting VRAM or another system resource. I have nearly 100 videos like this to render, and my system is Windows 10, Media Encoder v14.5 (Build 48), PP v14.5.0 (Build 51), i9 7900x, 128GB RAM, 1080ti w/ 12GB VRAM, SSDs & NVME drives.

Why Premier encoder 2020 can not be working continuosly on the watch files? It keep asking to exit the Encoder while the clips was still under encoding.
Hello!I tried everything to fix this problem but it still contains. When opening a MP4 video file (2 kinds of videos: recorded by smartphone and recorded from screen (streaming)) and encode it, I always have a green screen and can only hear the sound from the video. The same problem happens in After Effects. MP4 files can't be edited because I only habe a green picture - sound works fine. All codecs are installed (I think - I'm not an expert on this field). The files can be opened in all my media players (Media Player Classic, VLC Media Player, Windows Media Player) and are working fine. Just in After Effects and Media Encoder I have this green screen error. I get no error messages or something like that. I think the program itself thinks, that everything is OK. I searched every possible way I know for a solution, but nothing is completely similar to my problem. The problem solving tipps from other boards or websites didn't work too. I'm using Win10 and have After E
I Have both After Effects and Media Encoder. I finished a composition in AE (1920 x 1080) and I want to Export it that way as an MP4. I put ot in the render cue in After Effects and there is no H.264 choice only Quicktime. Then I put it into the Media Encoder Queue and I put it to H.264 and when I go to render it there, it says it failed. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in Advance
