Fill toggle is a very common computer graphics technique dat Illustrator should honor. Unfortunately, Illustrator stops with toggling after 3 overlapping shapes. A letter 'O' works. An O with a dot in the middle works, but when adding a fourth concentric circle, Illustrator gives up and let the user struggling to select and change path direction manually via the Attributes. I need to toggle hundreds of concentric circles, kind of like the OP asks a solution for.

For some chroma key jobs where Keylight fails, the good old Color Range keyer gets better results. But unfortunately, it is stuck in the 8bit era. Please update it to work with 16bit.

I'm somewhat annoyed by the attempt of Adobe Premiere to force the user in their own immature way of accessing files from within the app. Please let Mac users use their known filebrowser, shortcuts and sidebar. Or at least give the option in Premiere's Settings. Its annoying to navigate through hierarchies, while we know that there is an sidebar alias at hand. Update: The Adobe import interface appears when importing an Ae-Comp via Dynamic Link.

For some kinds of Projects, I rely on a set o f scripts to speed up things. I would like to see a Scripts panel to have these scripts handy. And on top of that, it would be nice to assign a key shortcut to each of the scripts.

When Copying a layer in the timeline to the clipboard, the project panel reacts with a random scroll. This feels like something uncontrolled went wrong. Reproduce this: -Project with a lot of (opened) folders and footage -Timeline with several layers -scroll to somewhere half way the project items -select a layer in the Timeline -choose 'Copy' -see how project panel view changes

Using an Adjustment Layer to distort underlying layers, e.g. Position and Skew (Screenshot 1), when rendered to RGBA with a Straight alpha, shows a strange behaviour in the RGB channels: both the original and the distorted underlying graphics are included (Screenshot 2). Some have User Voice, some don't (Photoshop), some have separate feedback pages, some have it integrated in the community forum. When Create Outlines is invoked for a multiline text, the Grouping could be much better. Currently, when choosing to ungroup the result, every character becomes a separate object. How great would it be when Create Outlines makes a 4 level Group hierarchy this way: Text > Paragaphs > Lines > Words > Characters So 4x ungroup results in separate characters. 3x gives separate words (separator = space), 2x gives separate lines (separator = return), 1x gives separate Paragraphs (empty line / double return = separator). Makes sense, doesn't it?

Sorry, came to this post with a Text object in mind, but further inspection shows that this thread is not about Text. Still, for my project I need (editable) Text to have an inside Stroke. None of the Adobe CC apps can do it, for obvious reasons - it can turn out ugly and maybe will hang the apps, due to intersecting values. But I can think of an algorithm that can handle this. For now I found a workaround with After Effects Layer Styles, but it is not the most convenient way:

For effects like Lens Blur or Gaussian Blur, Ae provides the ability to activate 'Repeat Edge Pixels', to let the effect go 'over the edge' in stead of regarding the edge as part of the art. We need this for Layer Styles too. E.g. an Inner Glow should respect the shape of a Layer, even when it is animated off screen. Compare the two images' left lower corner. When the circle is animated off screen, Layer Styles are applied to the visible part of the circle intersected with the Comp edges, where it needs to be applied to the circle.* The current situation (left lower corner) What is needed most of the time Left: current situation (see left lower corner) / Right: the way we (I) would like it *I know this has to do with render order in After Effects, but still it needs a solution like 'Repeat Edge Pixels'.

I started using Illustrator 88, and consider myself as a very experienced pro user. Still, it’s a bad idea to have the transparency grid (which appeared first in Photoshop as a UI-element that represents 'nothing', alpha, 0% opaque) included as actual data. Adobe Stock should be able to show a preview with or without the grid.

Adobe Stock can show the transparency grid, but it should not be included in the artwork. In essence, the buyer should be able to use / place the artwork in Ae of Id without having to edit it. Apart from that, I have downloaded several assets, where the transparency was flattended with the grid, so there was no actual transparency anymore.

Sometimes (most of the time...), we want to integrate the reference frames in the generated fill. In the current generated fills, reference frames are skipped over, which makes it necessary to keep all reference frames as well, after generating the fill. Please let the user chose whether or not to integrate the reference frames in the fill.

Reference frames created in Ae and edited in Photoshop are tot automatically reloaded. After retouching in Photoshop, the old cached frame stays visible until manual reload.

When several clips are selected, changing Speed/Duration or Rate Stretching only affects the last clip. It would be nice if it treats the selection as one clip, affecting each clip with the same amount.

When a clip is selected, after some seconds, Premiere shows its duration. Please do the same for selected gaps. In general: Treat gaps like clips where possible (e.g. make it possible to replace a gap with a clip).

I would like to use the Layer above the current layers as a Matte for the current layer, and then add a Drop Shadow effect. The current layer than must be set to Preserve Transparency to prevent Drop Shadow dropping on the alpha background. (unfortunately Drop Shadow lacks a way to Preserve Transparency in the effect itself) So, my expression should set index-1 in 'Take Matte From Layer'. That should be made possible.

Many times, we need a Drop Shadow / Radial Shadow only on lower layers, not on the transparent / alpha background. Would be a great addition to have a switch to apply that behaviour. Or make the promising 'Compositing Options' functionality complete by adding Blending Modes and Layer Mattes. (currently only a Mask and Opacity can be set)

I think the terms Temporal and Spatial are confused. A Hold key frame keeps the value (e.g Position) until a new keyframe is reached. Position is a Spatial property rather than Temporal

Let us replace a keyframe by dragging a copy of an other keyframe on top of it. Just like in After Effects. Please make these kind of things work alike throughout the Adobe apps.

Please let Align and Distribute work with 3d Layers. It should work for XYZ coordinates in the coordinate system, rather than camera view (or let the user choose!).
