Let Replace work for a selected Gap too. In Premiere, filling a gap with a clip is not very intuitive. Since we are able to select gaps like those were clips (e.g. to tipple delete 'm), it would be logical to let the Replace function work for a slected gap, just like it were a clip.

"The name of the selected Output Module is already in use" This message pops up when two Comps have the same Output Filename. Has nothing to do with the name of the Output Module - a confusing message. Please make the message more descriptive by supplying the involved Comp name - hard to find in a project with hundreds of Comps.

It happens when Adobe Stock can't find a suitable image, and proposes to use Gen AI... So it advised me to use it, but can not succeed and then tells me that it wants to help me. And it says 'Slow down, we can't wait', which is a contradiction.

When invoking Gen Ai, as sugessted by the web site, I get this message: "Niet zo snel! We kunnen niet wachten om meer content voor je te genereren. Probeer het later opnieuw." It means: "Slow down, we can't wait to generate more content. Try again later." That is quite confusing. I want to generate, the system wants it, but it askes me to slow down... Strange way of communicating.

When adding a dip to Black Dissolve to a cut, PP warns that there are not enough frames. But Dip to Black does not need overlapping footage. Please skip the warning for this transition.

Time reverse keyframes should only affect selected keyframes 1 created three or more keyframes on a track 2 select the first and the last keyframe 3 invoke 'Time reverse keyframes See how all unselected keyframes are inversed too.

I have this layer with Separated Dimensions The Y is animated with keyframes. The X has no keyframes. When I move the layer in the X direction (with shift pressed, so constrained - Y is not changed), Y gets a keyframe, while it shouldn't, because the value is not changed. Please respect Separated Dimensions when repositionin in one direction. Only add a keyframe when the value of a keyframed track changes.

Ok Rick. I have. That's the reason for my post 😉 Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Ae, for some reason, uses Caps Lock as a way to stop refreshing the Comp window - to speed up tasks that don't require the Comp Viewer to update continously. The light of the Caps Lock stays on, but as stated: "Ae forgets that it is pressed when switching Comps". And also while making layer selections it starts refreshing unexpectedly. I was working on a big project wih multiple compositions, all loaded with expressions. When copying and pasting expressions to mulitple layers, I have to select multiple layers, which slows down when the number of layers increases. So the Caps Lock to stop Ae from refreshing / background rendering comes in handy. But unfortunately, Ae starts to refresh and render randomly, while Caps Lock is still on. I am on MacOS 12.7.3 / Ae 25.0.1 (Build2)

When I have Caps Lock active to prevent Ae from rendering while working, Ae forgets that it is pressed when switching Comps. Please make it work again (or bring another solution to stop rendering e.g. while copying/pasting expressions or keyframes).

To keep it simple: 1. I want to define an Output Folder per Project (and preferrably Output modules as well, for animations and stills). 2. I want Ae to create the hierarchy of my Projects Output Folder in that Output Folder on the output location at render time, and render the files accordingly Ae should warn when the hierarchies are not equal, and give a solution to add / merge / overwrite or relocate the Output Folder.

Thanks, but that is not exactly my request. My request is not about collecting files, but about rendering/outputting files in the same hierarchy as the Ae Project. E.g.: My project has a folder called 'Output'. In there, I made subfolders: Output/Bumpers Output/Wipes and Output/Titles. What I would love, is to tell After Effects where I want my rendered files to appear, and than let it create the exact same hierachy on my disk, where the renders will be placed.

Meanwhile, I found a clue. The footage I imported was assumed to be 25fps, but it was actually 23,975 fps for some reason. My sequence though, is 25fps. Maybe that leads to this behaviour (although, I still don't know why the 1 frame issue is happening - ripple delete should delete everything without a trace).

When Ripple Deleting empty part of the Timeline, a 1 frame space is left. -Select a space without clips in the Time Line -Press command-Backspace -See how a 1 frame space is left Maybe this is related to my other bug report for 25.0.0.0 / Mac https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-bugs/paste-insert-not-accurate/idi-p/14973621#M40199 I tested in in the previous version of Premiere Pro - the problem does not exist there.

Premiere 25.0.00 / Mac OS 12.7.3 When choosing Paste insert, the clip is not inserted at current time, but 1 frame later. Reproduce the problem: 1. Copy a clip to clipboard, 2. Switch to a differen sequence 3. set the CTI to an edit (Snap) 4. choose Edit/Paste Insert 5. See how the clip is inserted 1 frame later, resulting also in a new clip with a 1 frame duration before the newly inserted clip.

I would like it when the Fill Layer resulting from a Content-Aware Fill has no 'holes' at the frames where a reference frame was created. That would allow us to remove the reference frames after the Fill Layer is created. Maybe a switch to switch to this new proposed feature on and off?

In After Effects, rendering a Comp containing a .mxf (OP1a) renders black when I output to ProRes444. –Output to ProRes444 renders black, with audio. –Output to .mp4 renders normally. –Rendering to OP1a .mxf via Media Encoder renders normally. –Rendering other footage to ProRes444 renders normally Strange that AE let me work with the .mxf, but can not render it to every codec from the list. 24.6.2 (Build 2), Mac

For complex situations, I work a lot with PreComps that I prerender to make a final composite. How great would it be when Ae could help in a modern way to manage this. I think of adding a 'Freeze' switch to each layer, as already kind of exists for RotoScoped footage layers.. Another great example of this workflow it how Logic Pro does this: simple click a freeze button, and the track / layer is rendered. Unfreeze brings it back to an editable version. This would streamline these kind of workflows, without a lot of hazzle.
