I am not sure what you will ultimately be doing with the brush (it might not work with fine detail) but you could make the horizontal and vertical lines and create a pattern brush instead. It might get you closer to what you are looking for.

If they were there, then it sounds like they were on the cloud. I would check deleted files and also this link might be of help: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/users-files-missing-creative-cloud.html

Are these Libraries saved to the cloud or as AI files? If they are stored on your computer, you need to move them to the new computer. Go to Edit > My settings > Export

I am not sure about your process, but if you are drawing the object yourself, then you are fine. Are you using the Recolor Artwork function?

You can create a line, apply the zigzag effect and then expand the appearance. Once you do that, activate the perspective grid, use the grid selection tool and drag the expanded line onto the grid.

Have you restarted your computer since installing? You can also try uninstalling and then reinstalling. Perhaps something went wrong on the install.

When you say proportional you are talking about a visual balance. In that case, you will have to do each individually to get the aesthetic look that you want. If you do it dimensionally, they will continue to look unbalanced.

I think that perhaps the issue is with Google Slides not what Illustrator is doing. The only thing I can think is to scale up the image before you paste, but not sure that will help. Saving out is always the best way to have control of image quality.

Are you saving the images out as svg? If you just paste from the artboard in Illustrator, Google Slides is probably converting to a pixel based image when pasted. Actually save or export your image for better quality.

I'm not sure what you are copying. Is it a vector graphic straight from Illustrator or a pixel based graphic?

Can you rename the file and see if that helps. Also, what happens if you open it as a pdf? Does the content show there?

From your screenshot, it shows that particular image is embedded, not linked. Perhaps you embedded them all. Are the images showing up in your actual file?

If you go to the advanced options, you can't get the results you are looking for? As for being able to do multiple images, you can suggest it via https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests

Then perhaps try playing with the blending modes to see if you can get it to look the way you want.

It is really hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like a tree is either red or black and perhaps a blending mode is added to let the black show through the red. Can you get a photo straight on so we can see better?

True, but the poster isn't asking to output to vector, but is being asked to output that way. Not sure why.

You can create a smart object out of all of your layers and then the filters that you add are smart filters and come with a mask. You could then use the mask using black to mask out areas you don't want it to affect.

This isn't the same problem, as the original poster is in the appearance panel. Not sure what your issue is exactly. If you have a gradient (went to the swatch panel and clicked on one), you should be able edit it either the using gradient tool or in the appearance panel, if you click on the fill thumbnail arrow, you get a pop up, which then gives you gradient options to edit the fill. Are one or both of these not working?

Depending on what the image looks like you could select it (there are various selection tools and it is hard to tell you which one to use without knowing your ability in Photoshop or what the image looks like) and then use an adjustment layer to change the color.
