When i tried to apply the blend to it (with the blend tool) it just created a separate shape. It didnt really do the feather that i'm wanting along the curve. I'm not super skilled in illustartor so its possible i'm jsut doing this wrong as well.

if this is the mesh tool, i've tried this but the gradients are harsh when i apply them. its more than likely becasue i dont know how to use them but it doesnt feather out like i'm needing.

I have some artwork that i want to have the gradient follow the top part of the art. The gradient should folllow the direction of the arrows ( i just put those in there for reference).

ok secondary question. I just noticed this is working perfectly "Except" i have 2 phone #'s i done need bolded is there a way t o exclude a phone#? 2 of the phone #'s that are being bolded that shoulded are formatted like this 123 456-7890. I dont know if that matters.

When i'm doing multi page layout and have facing pages on i get 1 page at the top how can i get rid of this? I want pages 1&2 to be sidse by side but right now it goes 1, 2-3,4-5 etc.. i dont want the lone page at top. I dont want it to display or be printed.

Is there a fix for acrobt freezing? i open a document (any document) it will take a minute to load and when it does it freezes up and i have to force quit it. just started after OS update to Monterey 12.6.2 Thanks Chirs

SOrry for the delay in getting back. the print process is we take PDF's and Drop them into a rip that separates out the colors. Our digital press has a ton of flexability especially if you have a custom SPot color made. The reason i'm trying to convert to a spot color is so i can Make changes to the ink build up inside the rip itself without changing the look of the file. Its a workaround to the actual way to solve the issue, but it may end up taking more work than just correcting the artwork.
