Sat down this morning to the new update. Project freeze up after replacing video footage, like replacing source footage and reloading it from the same name. After that, the project goes F'all to hell. Previews not updating, audio not playing, hanging... PC win 11 Ryzen 9950x 256 gig of ram x870e godlike 2x 4090s seperate cache drive Tried removing prefs, turning off plugins, clear cache and comformed media The workaround is to never overwrite footage, which is ridiculous

AE 25.3.2 upgrade hangs on file explorer when importing files, not even when you hit the import button. It will sometimes go unresponsive for around 20 seconds or crash. This started happening after updating and it happens around 30% of the time, on both the NAS and local drive. EDIT: It does not hang if I drag and drop files into the project. It's clearly the importer Win 11 2x RTX 4090 Ryzen 9950x

nah, wouldn't like ai prompt editing instead, or how about phone app that let you almost see your cloud files, maybe tablet version versions of lightroom that can't handle raw files. Who needs working software for professionals just give them 70 a month like the chumps we are.

The foreground background color dynamics to paint from one to another with pressure only seems to be working only half the time or not at all with the bg color only working on pen liftoff. I either get just the foreground or just the background on the initial stroke, I've played with all the settings it's not me. On both machines and with huion and wacom tested M1max or Ryzen 9950x

I have the new ryzen 9950x 2x rtx 4090s 128gigs of dd5 win 11 I've uninstalled, re-installed, used the AdobeAcrocleaner. But nothing helps the program works 50% of the time or it hangs and crashes. Why is this 30 year old program so unstable, is there something I can do to fix this?

Adding cohesive functionality is not alienating anyone, it's adding constant UX across the platforms. Saying something like that is just as ridiculous as the premiere teams saying MM button timeline pan won't be integrated because most premiere users don't have mm buttons. Alt key it will remember that as a part of a 2-key rollover. Thanks for the explanation, I'll stop hitting the alt key in this program. Is there any reason why there are no key standards? Why would it be alt-mwheel in just about all the other Adobe programs, can't someone go do the hall and tell Audition that all the other programs use alt -mwheel to zoom?

No that shouldn't matter. That would make sense if I was holding down ALT while hitting the spacebar. This is not the case, Alt-Zoom - let go - then spacebar. Why is this the only program that has this issue? Why does all my other programs and DAWS not have this issue, this seems like a program UX problem on Adobe's end

After I zoom into the timeline waveform, if I hit the space bar to play, the Move - Restore- Minimize popup, opens up in Windows, no issues on Mac. It's not the end of the world but it's obnoxious to use this program having to stop and click off the box every time I make a zoom and hit space. This box

win 10 64 XD 7.1.2.2 - yes multiple files Something as simple as pasting a box from illustrator give a progress bar that get to around 90% and then hangs, I have to ctrl alt del to kill the program

I'll build out a new project this weekend, I can't unload my clients videos to you. Basically, my steps are video and motion from after effects, some with sound. I import the comps into Pre and then pre breaks, not all of the time but I'm going to say 40% of the time. Maybe these are long comps, about 4min, I don't know if that has anything to do with it, it's not even 4k it's standard HD.

Linking AE comps in Premiere: Exports sometimes unlinks the footage and it renders missing footage, strangely not any faster than if it was linked. The sound sometimes doesn't render. Premiere will sometimes not update unless I relink the AE comp. Basically, all the old bugs are popping back up in this new version. It feels like CS6 again Using Media encoder is like rolling dice now. Exporting from premiere is more stable but you can't stack renders. Computers used, Ryzen 9, rtx 4090 M1 max 64gig dedicated

The new update keeps going unresponsive on both pc and mac, when reading pdfs. Sometimes the cause is the spam popups about the new features but even after turning that off it still locks up for some time. Is there a way to go back a version, until this gets fixed? PC's AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5995WX 2.7 GHz 64-Core sWRX8 AMD Ryzen 9 5950x RTX 4090's on both MacPRo M1max - 64 bits dedicated.

Adobe stuck in 24.0.2 now when I click on a path in a shape it does it's normal select all vert but when you click on a single vert it doesn't deselect the other verts. Then if you go to drag select from off the shape it carries the whole shape moves. The work around is to randomly try clicking on and off the path and trying to drag select. The old way was to just select the path then drag select to grab the vert. Win 10 64, ryzen 9 or M1 max rtx 4090
