We shouldn't have to. 20 years in the F'n program made for compositing and animation and still no simple tools we should have had decades ago. Like importing OBJs or not having to zoom into a pixel to put a guide in an exact distance. ADOBE SUCKS... Baby steps a program to shake the consumer and never fixes legacy issues.

So if you want to see or ask for a feature, report an error or get functionality this community is just a fluff. You need to go to a terrible forum and hope the algorithm god go in your favor so your post gets up voted for attention, so unless it’s a critical error, chances are Adobe isn’t going to post mortem their UX. This is where you can see tons of issues that don’t get addressed. For example being able to use the middle mouse in Premiere, like all the other Adobe software… Tons of post and repeat posts on wanting this, only for Adobe to tell us most users don’t have a middle mouse button..... WTF This is just one example others range from being able to make exact guides in AE without zooming to max and killing your eyeballs. Adobe needs to start to put improvement road maps out because this software is slowing becoming more and more trash.

If you have subtitles with alignment on the bottom with the bottome zone. You have use center algin squeeze your caption box down and lower it. Issue is you can't get it as low as it should be so your stuck having your captions raised about 40 px up.

no at this point it's safe to say we are the casualties of numbers, if 10-25% of the people that use their products complain then they still have a good rate of positive reviews, they aren't going to spend the time on figuring out which boards and chip combinations has problems till it becomes the vast majority. They also know guys like us that still have to pay them because of legacy clients so why should they bother fixing the issues.

Also to add to this, if you're in a project and accidently hit new project, there's no cancel and if you go back to the home tap and open the project you were in it glitchs out and stays in a program window and you have to close the program:

Is there a way to get rid of this new project file template thing. It's obnoxiously slow, has none of the file management shortcuts, the create button is greyed out, even though it's what you have to click and the templates are stupid. Can I just go back to regular legacy file management, why did they make this terrible UI thing, there’s plenty of things like sticky sliders and legacy issues they could have worked on. I find it much easier and faster to open a blank project and save it as a new one then to go through this new project loader

Imagine telling people you can't convert a frame work which has pulled all raster animation tools from all adobe products but yet free Krita has had no problem with it. It seems like adobe is where software goes to die, do they even have a dev team anymore or just feature set of coders. A good example of this is flash / animate they bought it and never fixed any of the timeline issues, ui, or add raster, they just feature creeped it. Another is the ability to view thumb nails in explorer on PC, they claim it's microsofts fault but when you look at other software like affininty they have no problem doing it. Maybe it's time we apes make a protest on adobe against this clear scam of a subscription.

Zoom into text to line it up, need to scub timeline to get it to select text to edit, after selecting it in the graphic tab. Program monitor zooms the [removed by moderator] out where I was zoomed into, zoom back in to line up the text, then use the still extremly sticky sliders (like it's been like 20 [removed by moderator] years why are they still so sticky to move with the mouse). Then select the next set of text to move then, have to jiggle the timeline slider to actually edit it then the program monitor moves from where I was at. AHHHHH,
Kill me now, 20 years using this program and we can't get simple things like, not stick sliders and properties, being able to zoom in and out nicely, normal panning like "EVERY [removed by moderator] ADOBE PRODUCT ALREADY HAS". I can't beleive I have to pay for this every month. End of Rant: Macbook pro M1 max

I've had it with this latest versions. Constant bugs, dynamic linking issues, playback issues, slow laggy photoshop, footage not conforming.... ect... ect.... ect.... I've re-installed, reset pref, switched cache drives, made profiles Nothing seems to work. I've found a link for PS 2018, and it works sooooo much better, but how do I get the rest of them, they are removed from the list of the other versions section

Same issue now. No time markers in project(learned my lesson on the timemark instability last year) it takes almost 15 min to get to project setting just to change a simple setting

It's opposite for me, mac version won't open on PC edit: The old XD trys to update but won't, in CC there is no update avilable for XD. In the main CC area I scrolled down and manually installed the new xd. Adobe UX in the cc app is busted, which I guess should be a warning not to use their stuff for UX/UI

I'm certain they are aware of these issues at this point. Most likely this is because of ps shoveing 25 years of code bloat into the program. They most likely will have to rewrite the program and their stalling because they can get away with it
