Thanks for your response Conrad. I decided to use "Book" mode in Lightroom Classic as it suits my needs to grab images from the timeline and then arrange them as needed in the in the Book window. I really wish there was a similar set up in "Web" mode but this will have to do for now.

My purpose for wanting to do this is to edit and organize a web gallery consisting of over 50 images. Essentially I need one collection window to be open as if it's a blank canvas and the other collection to be the bin of available photos. Much like in video editing software where you have a bin of footage that you can visualy see, organize and scroll through footage that then can be dropped into the timeline and rearragnged in the timeline. So again, one collection window open and empty that I can use as a target collection and another window open as either a collection or folder. The first window acting as a blank canvas to sort, orginze and paginate images that I can fill or remove with images from and a second window which stays open, scrollable and organized sorted by time. This would save me so much time in order to visually organize so many things I need for displaying my images on the web and in social media. Or is this not the software to do it in? Should I be using InDesign or Bridge or what?

Yes, the new Lightroom CC is very basic but copying develop settings and pasting them to multiple images is also a very basic function. Stop acting like people are crazy or stupid for expecting this very basic feature to be included. Even the most amateur person requires this feature to keep them sane when dealing with the thousands to 10's of thousands of images the basic target person takes basically.

Jessica, I uninstalled, reinstalled yesterday and had no issues while also fixing the sync issue. Be sure to backup your catalog if you're worried.

I un-installed and re-downloaded and installed. Problem fixed. I made the original post after chatting with someone at Adobe who admitted to a problem.

I've become dependent on the sync feature as a professional photographer who pays for this service. It's irresponsible for a company to mess that connection up and not notify customers and update them on what's happening. I'm frustrated with the complete lack of admission and communication. Get on this!

It's all good now. It was the syncing function. I leave it off but when I updated the app it got turned on. I really think the default on the mobile app should be SYNCING OFF all of the time unless the user chooses to sync. It freezes the whole app especially when traveling or trying to use it with out wifi or a connection.

I had a great workflow going with Lightroom Mobile my Canon 5D Mark 3 and instagram. A few days ago I updated the app and now I can no longer import and edit images on Lightroom Mobile. What is going on? Is anyone else having this problem? Please fix! iphone 6s OS is up to date.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom and now it's working! I wish Adobe would simply tell you that you may encounter problems and offer some solutions when they put out updates.

I have the latest Lightroom and OS X system on my mac. My CF card with Canon images won't read and my import dialog won't even show up! Fix this crap! People are trying to make a living.

I'm having the same issue repeatedly. I've nested all my text animated sequences, put them in the timeline, then cut and paste on the backside and check reverse speed only to end up with nothing. Actually it works the first time but when I duplicate the project, they all go black. It's extremely frustration because I have about 50 of these in a video I'm making. It's created hours more work for us and the client is pissed. Hey Adobe care to pay for all this extra work?

I was having this problem and discovered that I had sped the clip up to 125% Once I put it back to 100%, it tracked fine.
