Hi, I'm trying to edit a picture in the latest PS version. After the first correction with any tool (clone stamp, spot healing brush, content-aware move, etc.), none of them works anymore. I'm on a 2017 MacBook Pro 8GB. I have been trying to use PS for a couple of years now, but I have had to quickly look for alternatives as it has never really worked on my computer.

Thank you, it apparently crahsed. I managed to save another version of the same document but now I can't group text areas. All the fonts I am using were activated from Typekit. I'm on a 2017 MacBook Pro, 8 GB and subscribed to Adobe.

Tha you so ver much for the thorough explanation. The dark swatch is not black. I was thinking about reducing colour values to result in a global 30% subtraction. Would this be a good idea or would you rather reduce each colour by 30%?

Thank you Stephen. Would going back and forth with colour modes solve the problem? I did not understand that part. What would an appropriate newspaper profile be? I realise I can just lighten all colours to somewhat compensate for dot gain, but I’d like to do it precisely.

Hi, a newspaper has asked me to adjust an illustration to allow a 30% dot gain. While I understand what this means and I know it has to do with colour profile presets, I don't know how to address the request. Is it possible to do this without leaving Illustrator or should I go into Photoshop? The image has no photos. Also, they are requesting not to exceed a 230% ink weight, and I am completely lost in this last part.

Jao, thank you so much for helping me. I'll try your suggestion. I've spent the last hour trying to figure this out with Adobe “support”. There used to be a phone number, now there only appears to be a chat where I have mostly tried to talk to anyone. The person who did talk to me was quite incompetent (wasn't even familiar with the app's basic functions) and then they just unplugged the conversation. Do you know if there's any other way to contact them? It's outrageous to be paying a monthly fee and get this kind of service in turn.

I see. I have checked the link and it marks the missing 164 pictures as “synchronisation problems”. As I have mentioned, these appear without flaw in the iPhone. Should I reinstall the app anyway?

Hi, I've made some Lr camera shots with my iPhone, but only about half of them are synchronised into the iPad. This was a couple of weeks ago. I also made some more shots last weekend, but I can't see any of those. The iPad app reports being “completely synched”, but it's evidently not. Adobe “support” has been as wonderful as ever, so I was wondering if anyone has a clue about what's the problem and how to solve it. Thanks.

Hi, a client of mine wants to produce a digital photo album which customers would be able to edit. She came to me asking for an interactive document but I think the kind of product she wishes to provide would require an application where people could modify a given template to be printed. I know how to use Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign. Are there any other Adobe products which I could use to achieve this objective? Does anyone have experience developing something close to my description?
