There's no filter for chromatic abberation in Lightroom. This can correct in Lightroom in the Lens Corrections panel on the right-hand side. On "Profile" check the "Remove Chromatic Aberration" box to automatically correct common aberrations. You can also do it manually. Goto "Manual" , there you'll find the appropriate sliders to remove the abberations.

But then you state "So it seems there's an issue with the Geforce". ... By @Rasterize2025 The built-in GPU is nowhere near as powerful as an external GeForce card. However, Lightroom and Photoshop rely on a powerful GPU, and experience has shown that problems with built-in GPUs are recurrent. That's why you should generally always disable the internal Intel UHD GPU on notebooks that have a CPU with an internal GPU. When I wrote that there can be a problem with the GeForce, it could be that the driver installation is faulty or that there is a hardware issue. That's why I recommend checking the NVidia website again to see if there is a more recent driver available. If yes downlaod the Studio Version of the driver and do a clean installation.

That was it! I was disableing the Geforce and not the on-board Intel UHD Graphics 630. I can now open jeps and tiffs. By @Rasterize2025 This isn't normal. Normally the on board GPU (Intel UHD Graphics 630) causes problems in Photoshop and Lightroom. So it seems there's an issue with the Geforce. Goto Nvidia's website and download the recent Studio Version of the driver matches with your card. Then do a clean installation of the driver. Do you've tried what happened if you're using the notebook WITHOUT the docking station?

Thanks Rob, I appreciate the feedback and quickness. My LR4 is 4.1 and it is a 64 bit.... By @egloria2 That may be true, but the installer is a 32-bit program. And MacOS, in particular, is very restrictive when it comes to older software. Older software won't run on newer versions of MacOS.

It seems that there are issues with the graphic device. The first thing that you should try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue. @Stefan22907129a04w Does Lr crashed only one time or does it happened all the time after you do some work? Do you get an error message? If yes, please post the message here word-by-word. If there'e a dialog tht request to send the crash report to Adobe, please do this. They can check the report and can give tipps for a solution. Check if you have buldin a CPU with an internal graphic processor. This is usually the case with notebooks. The internal GPU can sometimes caused several issues. Open the Windows Device Manager, right-click the card's name (like Intel UHD... or so) and choose Disable. ... Maybe I should create 1:1 previews when importing, what do you think? ... By @Stefan22907129a04w I'm let create 1:1 previews during the import. Since a few versions, I've noticed that it speeds up my work. Browsing through the library is also faster.

The "Exposure" slider basically mid tone control. Put your curosor on the Exposure slider and notice that the mid section of the histogram get's a slight highlight indicating the area that the slider targets. ... By @Califdan2 In principle, you're right when you say that the midtones in the histogram get's slightly highlightened. But when the slider is moved, the entire histogram shifts to the right or left. It doesn't just affect the midtones. This makes the entire image brighter or darker. Using the Luminance slider for the midtones in the Color Grading area really only affects the midtones. Yes, a slider for midtones is missing in Lightroom Classic. I'll hope Adobe is implementing such a slider in one of the next versions. But, there's a workaround. Goto to the Color Grading section and then use the Luminance slider for the midtones.

@hotrodder19 In addition to @dj_paige post be note that Adobe has stooped supporting Lightroom 6 several years ago. Also the activation server are shut down. For activate your Lightroom 6 installation you have to do a offline activation as described as Solution 2 in the linked document. https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/serial-number-validation-launching-cs6.html But be aware: if you have reached your activation limit and you don't have any chance to deactivate an older installation you're out of luck. Adobe has stopped the support of Lightroom 6 and the resetting of the actiovation counter isn't possible anymore.

@danielp35161745 Ok. I see in your screenshot that you're don't use the latest version of the graphic device driver. Goto NVidia's website and search for the recent version for your graphic device. Make sure that you're using the Studio Version of the driver. Don't use the Game Ready version. NVIDIA Studio Driver 581.29 | Windows 11 (English version) Please do a complete new installation of the driver. To perform a clean install of NVIDIA drivers open the downloaded file and select "Custom (Advanced)" installation. In the next screen, tick the box for "Perform a clean installation" and proceed the further steps of the installation. You're using a Notebook. In most of this devices you have buldin a CPU with an internal graphic processor. The internal GPU can sometimes caused several issues. Open the Windows Device Manager, right-click the card's name and choose Disable. If this all doesn't help, please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. Hi! Why is my LR CC catalogue still v13-3 when I have the latest LR CC version 14.5.1? Do I need to fix it and if so how? Running on Windows 10 Pro. By @Johan Rosén With the latest Lightroom classic updates there wasn't a catalog update necessary. The latest catalog update was done with the change to version 13.3. A look into my crystal ball shows that a update to Lightroom Classic 15 can be possible. Perhaps the name will then be <Name of The Catalog>-v15.lrcat or so.

The AI Denoise has been changed with the update to Lightroom Classic 14.4 or 14.5 (I'm not sure with which version). you'll find the "new AI Denoise" now under the details section.
