Adobe XD

Hi everyone,my manager has invited me to edit a XD file uploaded on Cloud but I can't open it and I don't know why, if instead I share a file she can open and edit it easily. I try everything but I can'tsolve the problem. I'm attaching a screen of the error. There was an error opening the file Legal Reg Change Concept v2.xd (Error code: 86) This is not a valid XD document. I am using XD Version 49.0.12.14 x64 (Starter) on MacOS Big Sur Version 11.6.5 (20G527). The files were created in XD and stored on Google Drive. Very frustrating to not be able to reopen files created by that application.

I have a graph that animates changing proportions between one year to the next. Can I make the counter maintain its function (say changing from 13% to 45%) while moving from one point to the next between states to correspond to the changing shape of the graph as percentages change between years? Thanks 

Hello, Is there any way to fix fractions after size and location numbers? I always have to manually delete them. Doing the "allign to pixel grid" option usually distors an icon. There is no such a problem in, let's say, Sketch. Maybe there's an option to cancel fractions alltogether?   Thank you.   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

hi, i have adobe xd and its working fine but i ran into something that i need to install a plugin to help me with it but when i went to the discover plugins tab it says: "Connect to internet to discover plugins. You can still manage your installed plugins while offline."while i clearly have internet connection.can anyone help me with this issue because i really need to install some plugins.thanks in advance. 

When I mark all of the assests on a screen for export, the colors hex code does not show up on the website that I share. When none of the assets are marked for export, the hex codes will show up on the site. I'm not quite sure why the hex codes are being removed once I have marked all the assets for export. Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Here's the problem.My teammate use B company account shared a file which is for A company,I own two account in one email, she can't choose which one to shared but only to my B account ( I assume default is shared to same company's account).  *My teammate only own 1 account.*I have to switch to B account and download it. Oh no.---1. B teammate use B account to share a file and type my email2. I recieve an email that invited me to edit, but I cannot open because I'm using A account3. I switch to B account and download it...4. Sync to A account file by hand... Question:1. Is that possible when sharing file we can choose which account to ?  2. Could I sync two account with same file ?

Hi, I can't start Adobe XD when I open it it shows the splash scrren with the XD logo for a few seconds and then it crashes.I tried all the trouble shooting suggested on adobe forums, this is really annoying as I need the programme. I updated my Windwos, restarted my PC, uninstalled and reinstalled, used the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and even changes the app intallation location to a different SSD but nothing works. I also checked the Permissions in the Windows Explorer and updated my Display drivers. Please contact and help me 😕😕

I added a background image and reduced its opacity (so it is subtle in the background). However, when I zoom in (so the image gets bigger) or also in desktop preview (because the image is bigger in this view), the opacity gets back to 100%. This makes it impossible to give a decent preview of my design. 

I've been having difficulty troubleshooting what exactly is happening here as I haven't actually seen it happen.  I'll spend time working in XD for work, then have to switch tasks sometimes briefly and sometimes for a lengthy time, when I go to return to XD it won't be open anymore. Or, sometimes at the end of the day, I'll leave a file open so it's ready to go first thing the next morning. In the morning XD is not running. I can't tell what is going on, if it closes, or crashes, or what. I do know that this happens without the computer getting shut down or restarted. It has never happened as I've used the program, only while it sits idle. Sometimes it happens when sitting idle in the background (does not have focus) and other times while sitting idle in the foreground (it has focus). It also doesn't happen quickly where if I sat and watched for 5 minutes I could catch it. Sometimes it'll sit and be fine for hours, then it's gone, sometimes much less.It's not that annoying wh

Why is adobe xd stuck on the launch screen? after every 2 days I need to uninstall and then reinstall. why Adobe can't find this issue and solve it. I have checked all the updates for Windows, graphic drivers, and xd updates. I have everything updated.and this link doesn't help because whatever step shown is not working the same way. please let me know if somebody knows a real solution.

I have a layout I made some time ago on Adobe XD (that was just a personal project) and now I wanna put it on Behance. To do so, I need to duplicate/adapt that layout (designed for desktop) to smaller screens, iPad and mobile.Since I'm not used to design for smaller screens, after I started I've got a doubt: how do I know for example how much I need to decrease both text and UI elements' sizes? To explain better: I have a text with 40px. How should I calculate to properly decrease that size? Is there like a default percentage to reduce from those values? Maybe some visual "default" rules that every design follows?I always design for Bootstrap, however I'm not sure if I'm thinking the right way.Thanks for all your thoughts and advices you could tell me. I worked most of time only for desktops, a traditional web designer, and now I'm trying to migrate to UI/UX.

Is this happening to anybody else? The arrows are not aligned with some of the UI elements, I have seen it her but maybe its happening somewhere else.  

Some text needs a different colour (links). However the the focus of the text needs a double click to then be able to apply a colour. The colour is then not assigned to the highlighted part.

I am trying download a pdf file of 4 XD artboards, but getting an error simply saying there was a problem. I don't understand the language used to explain how to diagnose the problem, and more importantly, how to fix. Any suggestions out there? Thanks!

Hello, I have been trying to change the workspace of XD to essentials (part of a tutorial I'm trying to complete) but I have not been able to find an option to change the workspace anywhere- neither can I find a way to open up the CC libraries. Is there something I'm missing? {Renamed By MOD}

Quick Question, I often work on designing Google Ads and other platform ads in XD which involves small sizes such as 300x50, 320x50, 160x600 and so on. When I export the file in PNG/JPEG in 1x , the export quality is not that great and often looks blurry as compared to Illustrator export. Now I can export to 2x which makes it far better, but platforms like Hubspot, 6sense only accept 1x size and hence the 2x wont work. How do you suggest I export to get a crystal clear sharp export in 1x. Your help is much appreciated.

We got a Library and about a dozen referencing files (different page types) shared with full access rights. Now we would like to go on working on these files. We also would like to use the Share feature to provide a developer (who doesn't use XD) access.When I try sharing individual prototype files via Share-Tab XD tells me that I can't because I'm not the owner / original creator. With prototype-files, I could resave the file and components remained intact (they were still referencing the third party created library).What, however, if I also rename the Library of the project to gain full ownership of all project files? I expect all component and style-links to break. Is this correct? If so – could the original creator do something to withdraw his file-ownership?I found older, similar topics but no solution. What is the recommended way to keep working on a project that someone else started, without rewiring all related files from scratch?
