Adobe XD

I need to upgrade my starter plan online. I would like to know if it can be installed on another laptop if ever I need to change my current laptop. i.e is the licence transferable to a new device and how to proceed to install it on a new device.

Hey there, I published a CC library from an XD file with a lot of colors, character styles and components. The overview on assets.adobe.com/libraries tells me that the library size is 84mb. I'm not able to copy this library to get an exact duplicate of it. With smaller libaries with only few assets it's working perfectly fine. The copy/copies appear instantly. assets.adobe.com/libraries tells me that the duplicate process was successful and the new library might not show up immediately. But in fact it doesn’t appear at all – the storage size of CC account decreased though. I also checked the libraries panel in XD. The copied library does not show up.  

I wish I could reorder component states once they are created within an component. 

Bonjour, dès que j'essaie de modifier l'ordre des calques via la section de gauche le logiciel se ferme.   J'ai la derniere version d'adobe XD que j'ai installé hier , j'ai mis à jour les pilote de ma carte graphique et de Windows 10.J'utilisé par avant une version craqué d'adobe et j'avais le meme probleme sur XD, mais j'ai bien désinstallé tout les logiciels avant d'installer la version payante.Merci de votre aide

Lottie animations imported through the Lottie plug-in do not behave as expected.When viewing in the design review the lottie file will do any of the following: disappear before playing; not play; play but not loop; play a few frames.Using the lottie plug in and a free asset from lottiefiles.com 

Hi, I am using XD in version 24.2.22.8 for Mac OS. Is it possible to position a component in the Hover-state? When I move a component in the Hover-state, it is the same in the Default-state.   Regards Kenji

Does XD become slower as the layering structure becomes complex? For example if a single layout is using nested components, 10 or more states, and scroll groups. All interactions happen on the same layout. The file size is larger but not like Photoshop can get. All artwork in the layout is vector. Thanks.

Hi Friends,Short:I want to link half way down a page from other pages. Detailed:I have a navigation component that appears on multiple pages.  I would like one of the links in this navigation component to point to the bottom half of one of the pages (Products Page). There seems to be no trouble doing this when I override the navigation component on the Products Page itself, but XD does not let me create the link from other pages. Am I doing something wrong or is there a trick to this? Thank you.

Is it possible in Adobe XD to export in the xml? I have tried certain plugin but it all useless. Like Export Kit i coildn't even find that...

Hi,Is it possible to have the controls in my component states inherit their width from the default state?ORIs it possible to tell my controls in a component to take 100% width of the component itself?I have built a Tab component that I built that I need this for.  The same would apply to any other component that needs to be resized based on it's label - for example, a button. Thank you.

Hi,I've shared my app's Adobe XD link with my developer and I've marked few assests for export in SVG. When my developer download those assests from XD link he get some distored SVGs so I've to manually export these SVGs from Adobe XD and give it to my developer. I've shared the image for comparison. Is there any solution I can fix this problem.

Hi! I'm missing some artboards, they seem to have disappeared from my save files. And not just one save file, they're gone from every save file. What would cause this? I was editing back in August and came back to it this month, and they're gone in addition to some other glitches I mentioned on this forum. Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm a Creative Suite subscriber, and have been for more than a decade. About three years ago I installed XD on my Windows PC and bought an online course to get up to speed. The instructor was using a Mac, and showed how easy it was to change the default UI from gray text on a white background to dark mode (as I do with all other Adobe applications). However, the UI is different on Windows compared to Mac, and there's no way to set XD to dark mode. Gray text on a white background causes eye strain, and I immediately dumped XD as an unusable tool for my requirements. A request for dark mode for XD has apparently been active since 2016. This makes me wonder whether the developers are listening or whether they are some sort of Mac snobs. Why would the UI be different on Windows compared to use on a Mac platform? Will users on Windows ever be able to set XD preferences to dark mode?Irwin

I am using an M1 mac, with a 4k monitor, and when I select an object and want to transform it, the handles are way too small to actually select. It seems as if there is a very small 1 or 2 pixel movement I can make with my mouse where the handle to rotate, for example, appears...it's getting extremely frustrating. I find that  when I switch resolutions on my monitor it's still the same problem...is there any way to adjust this?

I can't figure out how to smoothly transition between the two artboards. I am trying to get the parallax effect on a time transition with the foreground coming up, the background coming down, and the text and arrows coming up.

Hi there,I just invested in the Adobe cloud licence to work on some UI / UX design for a company as a freelancer.I wanted to show the marketing team how the interaction could work by seding them the usual .mov file but it seems there is no such record button while previewing a prototype. Is there any way to record a prototype made with the latest Experience Design CC on windows 10, that'd be awesome, I love to work with XD !Thank you very much Anthony

Hi everyone, I would like to know if there is a plan to improve the User Experience when it comes to change owner of an XD file that has been shared for collaboration purposes with colleagues, because right now only the creator could be the owner and the one that creates links (and can update that links) to share them with dev team. This is causing delays on delivering prototypes when the owner is Out Of Office, because every time we have to face that, someone from the team needs to download the document and create a copy on their cloud so they can be the new owner, share it again internally with the rest, and then, create a new link to be shared with dev team. Also, I would like to know if I can create folders and organize on my cloud the files that were shared with me. Right now, I can create folders and reorganize the files that I created on my own cloud, but I can't do the same with files shared with me and it is not very agile when you work with tons of shared files.&nbs

Bonjour tout le monde, Est-ce que quelqu'un à une solution pour générer un lien XD en fullscreen sans la barre d'état qui s'affiche en haut. Je m'explique : j'ai prototypé une appli pour un client sur un format tablette mode paysage, lorsqu'on génère un lien, même en mode présentation, le rendu côté client n'est pas top car la barre d'état présente en header fait que la maquette est redimensionnée et ne s'affiche pas en plein écran. Pas pratique pour bien se rendre compte du rendu. Voilà ma 1ère bouteille à la mer, si quelqu'un à une astuce/plugin etc. à conseiller c'est avec plaisir.

Hi guys so im doing a design for a front end person to go and develop and one of the questions was about the spacing between the letters which in XD we call "Character spacing" but in the actual css code you call that "letter-spacing" Both the same thing. Anyway i know the letter spacing written in his css will be using px but what measurement does it use in XD?Example right now my titles are using "117 Character spacing" in XD however what is that in pixels for the css code?Thanks for the help

I posted several times about issues with XD and I'm still struggling with bugs and malfunctioning. Why do I need to shut down XD all the time as the typing tool stops working???  And even after restarting, it doesn't always work.This issue has been mentioned so many times by so many users and it's still bugged!!  What a waste of time and frustration when you need to speed up your productivity on clients' projects. Seriously, ADOBE.... 2 thumbs down.
