Adobe XD

When I'm trying to import SVGs created with Adobe Illustrator into Adobe XD import fails and XD shows the error of invalid markup. It worked fine before.When I copy/paste the same graphic from Adobe Illustrator to XD it works fine.Graphic contains only simple shapes (no special effects, strokes, gradients  etc). I'm using Windows 10 x64. This issue occurs within our whole team. Please fix that and let us know how to solve this problem.   <Title renamed by moderator>

When I'm resizing an icon svg file that I created using XD , while I'm using this in application by scaling from 200 x 200px to 50 x 50 px , border of that Icon is remaining same ex:5px for 200px one its remaining same 5px border for 50 x 50px one. In illustrator we having a feature (scale stroke...) and Expand option in Object to fix this issue but in XD we haven't. I tried using responsive resize but it also not working. we can't export to png's everytime it pixelate's. Try to include this feature : Auto scale border.

I have an already defined component and an already defined tooltip (as a group of shapes/paths/texts etc.).I would like the tooltip to appear when I hover over the component. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add my tooltip to the hover state of the component ! Could someone help ? I have looked at this Solved: How to add elements to an existing Component in XD... - Adobe Support Community - 10522793 but the solution would to recreate the tooltip inside my component hover state. As it's a fairly complicated tooltip, I do not wish to do that.

Hello , Does anyone know why I can't upload the last version of XD (45.1.62) on my MAC ( Mac OS Monterey version 12.0.1 (21A559)) ? 

New to XD here. has anyone ever had this issue where you drag and drop a graphic from CC Libraries but it doesn't load? I was wondering if there was a way to fix this. I've tried looking through the forums for a solution but I haven't found anything useful. Good morning, I finally managed to get a datagrid with 50 records built / imported into XD. I turned this datagrid into a component which is leveraged on 6 different artboards, but now, when I try to modify the master component XD is unusably slow.  Moving a column for example, takes at least 60 seconds.  I suspect this has something to do with updating the other instances of the component, but I'm not sure. -This was not happening when the datagrid held 15 records.-Nothing has changed with my machine, it is plenty powerful and has worked fine for the last two months. Just when I think I'm winning with XD...it will not stop beating me up.  I find I spend more time trying to come up with workarounds and less time actually focusing on UX design with this product. Any ideas or tricks to deal with the performance? Thank you.

I have a problem during the design of my prototype with the Adobe XD. I don't know the reason why the preview of my designs look bigger than they actually are.I explain:In PHOTOSHOP an image at 72pp of 300x300 pixels; If I visualize it at 100% it looks at its REAL SIZE. But with Adobe XD the designs are seen with a larger percentage of size.I don't know why you see the larger designs on the Adobe XD. Later, when you export, you see the design in its true size, but when you design, you don't.I have looked at the zoom options, but I don't see any options.Does anyone know why it looks big?

Hi guys,We have a UI design in Xd, but when we add the color codes into our software for the UI design, the colors come out differently than the actual XD design. Does anyone know why and what to do to fix it, so that the XD color codes are exactly the same in the app interface?

My Adobe XD home tab is empty. I can open the recent documents and the cloud tab workings. However, even when I try to use the file menu I can't add a new document. I am using mac

Hi there, I would like an object in Adobe XD to rotate 360 degrees ONCE when I hover over it.First, of course, I created a hover state in addition to the object's default state and entered 360 degrees in the "rotate" field. The number either kept jumping back to zero or the 360 entered was always set in both states, even though it should only apply to the hover state.Then I found a trick: Grouping the individual object or creating a component from it, I could double-click to enter the "content" - the element - and type in 360 degrees. Then it wasn't set in the default state and the object rotated. But unfortunately, the object always rotates two times in a row. Is there a way around this? It should only rotate once...One more thing: I wanted to add a little playful character to the individual parts of the logotype.It seems that the hover effects cannot overlap - they just don't want to play simultaneously. I used couple emojis in some texts (copied pasted from emojipedia) and while the design and preview are showing colored emojis, in the shared prototype link is showing the emojis as outlined icons only.I tested in Chrome and Edge and in both browsers the result is the same. In the picture below you can see the emoji in Chrome, Adobe XD and Preview mode. 

I really need to unselect the images one by one for don't export anymore? I'm looking for a link like "unselect all images" or something like this and don't find anything...

I have two domains that I wish to publish 2 small websites. Godaddy wants like 120$ for each site/domain to build the site annually. So my thought was to look at Adobe and see what you have. If you have a solution similar to former Spark Post that would be very helpful. In terms of complexity.

How do I close the right side menu in Adobe XD?

I am unable to update an existing prototype after making design changes. The only option after clicking share again is to create a new link. This does not happen consistently. Sometimes the update link appears and I'm able to update an existing prototype. Other times it appears but is greyed out, and periodically, update link doesn't appear at all. What should I do to consistently have the update link appear enabled when I'm trying to update an existing prototype? The below attachment should have the option for updating, yet it doesn't appear.

Hi there, can anyone explain how to make components change positions when you interact with another component?More specifically, i want to make a menu of buttons that, when you click one of the buttons, shows a text box and moves the other buttons down to fit the text box. Illustrated below. The way i have done this, is to make a main component with all the buttons, and then individual instances of each button to host the hover and toggle effects. If i create one component with all the buttons in it, i can't hover/toggle each button individually. Any advice on this?

How Can I configure the XD to have fonts in PX instead of PT? In my case, the artboard appears in PX, but the fonts are appearing in PT.

XD suck more than a blackwhole!! I was working for hours on wierframing and designing my websiteand just lost all my work because XD is crashing and not saving my work automatically!!!! I'm going back to Figma!! 

I have a mainstream monitor size, 23.5" with Full HD resolution (1920x1080), and I find it very painful to work with somewhat deep groups/component hierarchies and long names. I tend to use a "namespace" aproach to name my components and sometimes they became a little too big, but it also happens when I have a deep group or component hierarchy. What I ask is very simple: add an horizontal scroll bar to the layers panel, so I can scroll it without the need to resize and making my prototype working area even smaller than it already is. This is a very common aproach to IDEs on the folders panel, depinte allowing resizing, they always have an horizontal scroll bar to help navigation on deep levels or small monitors. An image to describe what I think that would be great: Of course, if I had and ultra wide monitor or a 2.5k/4k monitor that would not be a problem, but not everybody has that kind of tech, even more nowadays because of the shortage caused by the pandemic. &n

Hey, I try to make an slide-up keyboard overlay for an app prototype, I downloaded the UI kit containing the keyboard. When I copy and paste the keyboard to my project, the keyboard appears in the pasteboard and is not accessible as an artboard to refer to for overlay effect, would you please guide me trough this issue?

 When measuring the distance, I encountered some darker bottom colors and couldn’t see the distance data clearly. This tormented me for a long time. Can XD designers consider optimizing this? I really need it.
