Adobe XD

Adobe XD is missing a feature that would trigger the second state of a component only when the key is being pressed (just the way as it works on hover).When the key is released, then it would return to the main state. 

Hi I'm new to Adobe XD but I'm trying to create an interactive map using component states. I have several toggles set up as simple component states that I want to interact both indepenently and with one another.   So for example Image 1 below shows the 'General / Misc' toggle on...      while Image 2 below shows the 'No text' toggle on.     Image 3 below shows both of these toggles on.     But ideally I would like Image 3 to ONLY show the examples in relation to the first toggle pressed. So for example if I first press 'General / Misc' then 'No text' the map would ONLY show the General / Misc examples that have no text. So ideally it would look something like this (I did this manually with the eye tool)     I know I can change the component state for 'No text' to simulate this, but then it over-rides the toggle working independently, and doesn't logically work if I first pressed another option aside from 'General / Misc'.   I h

The cloud document in XD keeps saving every 10-15 secs. Which is supposed to be a good thing right? But while it does that it doesn't allow me to work for few secs. This happening every few secs is a night mare. Please fix this. Make me want to quit XD.

In the last few days I can no longer configure the link and mark "Assets for Download". This function is disabled. Has this ever happened to anyone?   <Title was renamed by moderator>

I'm a complete beginner to Adobe XD so maybe I have just missed something obvious but it would be great if someone could help me. I created a flow for designing a booking system (for a UX Design course) so it has a lot of screens and a lot of detail. I used the comments section to go through and annotate the entire flow - it took a very long time to do this thoroughly. Everything seemed to work fine and the comments were always there every time I went to continue working on them. About a month after when I was going to create my portfolio when I went back to the link, the comments panel had disappeared. I have no idea how or why this happened but I would greatly appreciate someone getting back to me as soon as possible as the information was critical evidence for my portfolio and I don't want to have to start again! https://xd.adobe.com/view/9f71162b-2c68-4492-afa9-8bee1600fcbe-ca22/ 

I am designing something for a Samsung galaxy tablet so I used the pre-made artboard for the Galaxy Tab10, but I don't understand how its handling px vs. dp. When I export for development it says that the artboard is 800x1280 dp (which makes sense for an hdpi screen) but also 800x1280 px, which it isn't - the tablet is 1200 by 2000px. So is there any way to show the actual pixels? Why is the developer view showing px, dp and pt as options when it isn't actually distinguishing between them?   This shows what I am seeing in the developer view when I switch between dp and px:   {Renamed By MOD}  

I'm trying to share a file with someone and XD shows a message saying it can't upload the file in the creative cloud in this moment and has a link to a 404 error. Is something on maintenance? Should it have a different message if it's the case?

Hi,about 6 months ago I had a free version of XD on my PC, did a bunch of designing/prototyping, etcMy computer died, and now I have a new computer, and I want to re-install XD, but now I notice that it is not Free anymore. More importantly, I don't have any way to find my old designs/prototypes. Help!If I buy the program (conneted to my Adobe account) will I re-gain access to my old designs/prototypes? Where were they saved, exactly?  

I would like some help as a begginer in XD.I am making a prototype for a car rental website wich has some drag triggered animations and a photo slider on the main page (Home page) which automatically changes from one picture to to another (time trigger).At the end of the project i will need to export my project with a plugin on html java and css code and give it to the developer.My questions are those: 1.Since im making everything on different artboards will the code be like one main page with the links that ive made or each canvas will be translated as a different page? 2.Is there any way to have that drag animation on one artboard? ( the goal here is to have eveything in the homepage artboard instead of 8 different artobards that i do now)I found out that the time trigger animation does not let you interact with anything when its triggered.For instance i have the animation changing pictures from image 1 to image 2 every 2 seconds and when these 2 seconds are on the page is

Hello. I'm having trouble with my hover states in XD. I'm trying to get my button to move up slightly on hover. But when I try to change the hover state, XD automatically changes my default state also, and vice versa. My hover states work fine when I am revealing a hidden layer just not when I try to move my layers. What I am doing wrong?

There was a problem with a design when I shared a link to my colleague. On one screen was the menu not OK on his laptop. It is not the first time such a problem appeared. What is the problem?

XD is probably the most usefull tool of the Adobe suit to create presentations. The recuring problem is a lack of accuracy in PDFs exports. - Space bitwin words are sometime deleted.- Masked images have offsets.- And a lot of other small errors. In other words the PDF you get is not what you created in the XD board. Please fix those issued because sharing PDF out of XD is a KEY FEATURE.  PS : NO IT IS NOT A PROBLEM RELATED TO THE PDF READER BUT TO THE XD EXPORTER. Thank you .

If you try to poportionally scale (scaling while holding shift) a bunch of items together, if any of those objects is a component that has been rotated. That rotated component will not proportionally scale, no matter how you change the responsive resize settings. If that rotated component has the rotation removed, it will scale proportionally fine.If the rotation is kept but it is changed so it is no longer a component, then you can scale it proportionally fine. Maybe im doing something wrong? Was hoping it would have disappeared with one of the updates, but i dont see others complaining about this, and it seems like a very annoying and obvious bug... I am using a mac with the latest XD, and the problem has been reproduceable consistently in new documents.

Hi - first-time post so forgive me if this has been asked. I did a quick search but didn't see anything. I'm wondering if XD will auto-number your artboards (ex Artboard 1 of 5) and update it if artboards are added or removed. One additional level of complexity - I would need this text to be printed on the artboard itself. We use XD across UX/UI and our wireframe functional specs are exported as PDFs and sometimes printed to make it easier for the engineers to move back and forth between sections as needed. And as projects unfold and more artboards are added we don't want to worry about going back and renumbering pages. This is where the auto-numbering will come in handy. Thank you!D

This bug/usability is now a blocker for my project. When trying to move a layer or layer group 1 pixel, the layer of layer group jumps right by 70 pixels, and up by 200.39 pixels. It doesn't happen for every layer, but I need this layer in my component. I have tried:Using the arrow keysEntering the number in the transform attributes panel.Updating to the latest version.Uninstalling, and reinstalling the app.to be patient, but this kind of thing happens way more than it should for an Adobe product.  I really don't want to go back to using Photoshop for my mockups.Please Please Please, instead of releasing gradients and drop shadows, focus on usability issues and bug fixes. This is not only a visual design tool. It's an application for creating experiences. And currently, the experience for the users of this app ranges from elation to cringey bad.

Anyone can help me, I can't see update at cloud and my project at the cloud
