Adobe XD

I haven't been able to successfully export any icons. Everytime I attempt to, my application tells me Something went Wrong. I've tried exporting in both formats with no success. Has anyone experienced anthing similar? And if so, is there a workaround? I'm running on a tight deadline now that I've run into this issue. 

I'm a complete beginner to Adobe XD but have been working on a project to design an airline booking journey for a course. I am ready to submit this project however when I create the share link and open it in a browser it only lets me so far through the journey and then it hangs up - always on the same screen, I have tried deleting and re-linking all the connections. I've also tried deleting the shared link and creating a new one (many times in various modes). I left a file open overnight, saved it when I woke up.  I had to do a restart due to an OSX update. When reopend my file I found that all my coponents were set to 60% transparency. Has this happen to anyone else? Mac OSX 11.2.3

Very frustrated.I have no top menu or a hamburger menu, or drop box etc.  Where is the top menu, how do I get it back?Please don't post reference to other posts I have gone though everything. I see the frustration dating back years.I need a walk though on how to get it for dummies please.

Can i prototype a mobile aplication using phone keyboard to do some inputs?I`m need to simulate an advance search using input with “asinged keyboard”. on desktop works… not on the phone

It just shows up as a line. I have the home marked, pages are connected but three or four innexplicably just show up like this.

Good afternoon Abode Community! So bascially I am creating something in Abode XD and following along on a video with how to create what I'm creating and in the video the person has a Mac computer and the menu bar for XD shows up on the top of the page whereas I have a Windows 10 computer and my menu bar shows up on the left hand side in XD for me. So is there a way to have my menu bar be at the top of my page? cause it's really annoying for me to have to keep hovering over the menu bar in order for everything to show. Is this only for Macs? if it is could you please make this possible for Windows users as well please?  So if someone knows how to do that, please reply to me as soon as possible and tell me how to do it step by step! Thanks so much in advance! -VeGirl

Hey guys, I'm looking for a solution of a problem and the Acrobat community coulnd't help me. I built a webdesign-layout in XD and now want to use that layout as a acrobat form. The idea behind: That way my client can write his content directly in the layout (via the Acrobat form). Bu I could not manage to convert the XD Text elements in form fields automatically. What I did is: I exportet the  XD design as PDF and opened it in Acrobat with prepare form. Usually Acrobat should then recognize all form fields/text elements automatically, but it don't work. Maybe I can change something in XD, so that it works? Any Ideas? Thx a lot!BR Sebastian

Hi, the mic in XD isnt working for me either. Ive tested it by recording my screen in Quicktime which works fine.Im running 10.13.6 on a Mac Book Pro. Im running XD version 33.1.12.4.I do not have any Sunflower extensions as far as Im aware. Ive followed previous answers but none work for me. Answers relating to later operating systems will obviously not work.Please advise, thanks.

I'm using nested components with instances to build a series of universal components with a shared file. I'm linking the universal components into multiple design files to have a single location to update common components. Some of the nested components are not maintaining the selected instance when applied to a different file? It's not an issue of updating the components either. I have everything updated.  Thanks 

Hello,In some computers shapes may not display properly. This are two captures of the same link opened in two differents computers. Some times the background isn't displaying too (my collegues see a gray background whereas I defined a white background).

Hi everyone! I have a problem with shared designs. Design and already coded website have the same font sizes but on web it looks bigger than in design. It's happening across all font sizes. 😕😕 Any idea why it's happend and how to avoid this problem in future designs? Many thanks in advance!

When I copy a chunk of type that has been formatted with character styles into another text box all of the formatting is lost. There has to be a way around this. 

Hello. I am using the XD application. Unfortunately, sometimes such artifacts appear throughout the interface. Is it the fault of the graphics card? Works on: Ryzen 2700X, 64GB ram, RX580, windows 10 (64bit)

Hello everyone. I am struggling to change the language on Xd to English. I have tried everything that has been suggested herein the community nothing is working. I've installed and unistalled the app, I've checked the region and language settings on my computer and I've even tried to change the language on the menu option within Xd(picture attached). Please help me solve this.     

I am going back to illustrator and just going to use xd for presentaion and exporting to developers. I hate giving up, but it's too hard and too slow. Fonts changes and lacking of linking to images. Let's blend xd and Illustrator. 🙂

I've used a scroll group in a mobile design, it's fine on preview but when published part of the background colour disappears further down the design on some computers/ monitors. After a lot of testing, it's apparent that it's caused by a scroll group further up the page not being one of the top layers.  Below is a screenshot when the scroll group isn't a top layer...and it showing correctly once the layer has been brought to the front.... Any ideas why this is happening?

Hi!I just have a design question about the bootstrap 4 grids.The grid I'm using is:Container size: 1140 (12 columns, gutters: 30px plus 2 x 15px right and left of the whole grid - column size: 65px).My question is: Can any content go over the right and left 15px margins; or do they work as padding where nothing can be placed? Making the actual content area 1110px (ie, 1140 - 30 = 1110).I hope I explained this correctly. I can only find answers about not placing any content in the inside gutters, but it doesn't mention anything about those negative 15px areas in the grid. Many thanks!

Hello, my company is trying to use XD over a large scale now, but this problem encountered is really painful:I have a main Design System cloud XD file with all my components, and child files for conception of the screens.As I say in the title, some linked component won't update after being charged in the design system, causing an error and every updated component are unable to update with the update all button, it force us to update them one by one, but some component won't update at all causing an error (see file attached - translation: impossible to update {cloudDocumentName} because of an error ).Worse now, if I create a new component in my main file and add it the child file, it does the same, as if any changes I make in the main document won't update in the child files. It 's impossible to use XD for professional uses for now if this can't be solved. So I've been working on drafts in one workspace for a few months now and even when Adobe crashed occasionally, the work that I had saved was still saved. However, I just had it crash and I can't find the workspace ANYWHERE. It's like it never existed, even though I had saved it before and I would expect some variation available. What can I do? Or do I have to start over? 

I originally wanted to get into using Adobe XD in my workflows for concept designing web & interfaces.Unfortunately the software just has more issues than things which just work.Right of the bat, I'm forced trying to fix countless issues and bugs before I can even remotely start working... First 2h into the software.: - The UI Scale can't be changed. XD is installed in a protected Windows folder... So I can't adjust the Windows High DPI scaling either. This is not fun at all on a special high dpi screens setup... as I can't set a zoom level for the preview. - Fonts are so buggy it hurts. Not only is XD the only software getting font styles wrong, it also doesn't update windows fonts when they are changed. We have our own custom fonts made over here. So if an update gets pushed - its impossible for some reason to ever see it in XD...Every other Adobe software "Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop" works fine. Just XD never updates it. - Media files also don't update

I'm trying to add a hover effect to a button that appears in the hover state of another element. While the hover states can be applied to both the back of the element and the button in the prototype mode and works individually the hover effect of the button does not work in the preview. Am I doing something wrong? Or is adding a hover state to an element inside a hover state not possible? Using XD v. 38.0.12.13 on a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) running macOS Mojave v. 10.14.6 This simple ability used to work fine. One text box with some text set as one color and some text set as a second color. Suddenly stopped working. I have not recently upgraded. I just went through and cleaned up my file (removed all unused assets, style sheets, removed a ton of pasted-in multi-layered AI files). Still doesn't work. My file is only 35.8 MB. When I select a former text box where I was able to do this, selecting the Fill Color selector causes it to automatically register white, in all cases. When I create a new document, it works as I would expect it to work: I can set different color text within the same text box. When I copy a text box from my current doc into a new doc, it works. When I paste that same text box into my current doc, it doesn't work. When I re-save my current doc as a new name, it doesn't work. When I re-start XD, it doesn't work.&nb
