Adobe XD

The Context · As usually, I transform my different graphic components ”components” in order to work with a well organized library and reuse consistant elements.  The Problem · When entering the Preview mode, some components are not showing. My Artboard is well connected to the others and everything in my Artboard is correctly displayed but my Top / Down Nav buttons… After some researches and tests, I've noticed that, if I rotate a component, it will not show anymore in Preview mode… In this case : My Next button (right arrow on a black circle) works perfectlyMy Top buttton – which is the Next button with a -90° rotation – does not appear in Preview mode. Any though guys? 🙂 

While replacing component on adobe xd on windows 10, unlike shown in tutorials, it does not show any green plus or arrow sign as a guide which would be helpful to release mouse on right location. Any idea?   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Hello, I am a student at the moment, and our current project is a group effort. My groupmates and I are trying to collaborate on an XD document, however when we all get on it says that one or two of us are using an outdated version of XD and are therefore unable to edit the document. We have all checked our accounts and they say that all of our versions of XD are up-to-date. None of us is able to update the app. Myself and one other person are working on windows, the third individual is working on a Mac. I'm working on version 38.0.12, while the other person working on windows says he's working on 38.1.12. We have no idea how to fix the situation, please help!     <The Title was renamed by moderator>

My organization doesn't allow publishing to Adobe Cloud for hosting my prototypes, so instead I have an option to "export prototype," which gives me a folder that I then upload to our own server. As of the last update (38.0.12), this functionality is now broken and all of my exports no longer show any text. Rolled back to version 37 and everything is working fine. However since I cant open projects I've saved in v38 in v37, I can't make any exports. Any help on this would be great!

I have been working in Xd for some time and today I've somehow changed certain texts into paths and now I can't return into the text? Has something similar happened to someone, and is there a solution without re-entering the text? plus I have no idea how I did it...:(   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Hello, this is a really weird issue. I just recently installed Xd on a Mac and evey time I open Xd, my USB webcam and microphone simply disappear from the Sound devices under System Preferences. While I keep this Sound preferences window open and while Xd is running, these USB devices randomly appear for a few miliseconds then disappear again for a few seconds. macOS Catalina 10.15.7, see attached for complete device hardware.(I'm not going to upgrade the OS) 

Hi Adobe Xd community, I'll keep it brief and to the point: when working in XD I quite often lose the ability to 'undo' - when this happens no undo's are possible if I move and object on the artboard that is it. When this undo bug occurs my ability to 'Save' (to cloud) also ceases to work. I also get these error when trying to not lose work and save locally: see attached. I love the product and the workflow in XD but this is a pretty serious bug in my opinion. Is there any others experiencing this same issue or is a known bug by your XD dev team? Thank you in advance for any help in the matter, Jesse

I'm very disapointed, I created my responsibe design with Adobe XD but impossible to share and show my design result to my client, the sharing option don't use responsive design, always show my deisgn in original template size, so when I resize the browser window, its always the original size that is displayed, so impossible to show for example the responsive version for different screensize, so that is completly stupid from adobe to get great responsive possibility but impossible to showing result, so how to do it? 

I have over the project formed the inscription"Amount of paint 1" what is it and how to remove it? 

When using the Google font Amatic SC in XD it is correctly rendered without letter spacing.But when I set a value for the letter spacing, the font is not rendered correctly anymore – it's substituted by some sort of default font. Does anybody know this naughty behaviour and how to get rid of it?

I'm trying to create a link to share to the dev team, but the link doesn't show the CSS code (see screenshot attached) even though I selected "Development" in the "View Setting" dropdown. I tried to find the solution in this similar post, but no final answer has been given. Can you please help? Thank you. 

I have a document with components liked to other documents. Since today (or the last update) I am uable to update my components. Everytime I try updating the Error "Adobe XD due to an error {cloudDocumentName} cannot be updated" pops up.  

Hi, my issue is that responsive resize produces the same result whether it's on or off. I'm quite familiar with illustrator and toggling on "scale stroke and effects" to do what I need but XD is not cooperating! Tried to search this a few times but haven't come across my issue yet, what am I doing wrong?! Attached a screenshot

Yo creo que al contratar y tener un plan cualquier miembro que pertenezca a un archivo, debería poder tanto generar cmo compartir un enlace, esto ha sido un problema porque en ocasiones hacemos revisiones con nuestros clientes y muchas veces la persona que creó el archivo no siempre está presente, y la verdad eso de estar esperando al "creador" del archivo cada vez que necesitamos hacer un minimo cambio resulta molesto.XD debería de crear las facultades para que el dueño del proyecto pueda asignar responsables que tengan la misma capacidad de él para poder actualizar los ajustes al archivo, Gracias.

Hi,Using XD 38.0.12.13. and company does not allow cloud so I export my Developer Specs to a local drive. Since the new verison the fonts do not render. This is a critical feature.  Happens on both Win10 and MacOS. I see the developers going freerange and using nothing but Helvetica. Please Fix. 

Is there a way (or plug-in) to horizontally scale type (using %) in XD, similar to Illustrator, InDesign and Photshop?  If not, they should add.   thanks

Hi everyone.I am a lecturer & instructor - i teach Xd for at least 2 years. I must say that lately, Xd is becoming very hard to work with due to a lot of freezes and crashes and more than that, in last two weeks, when it crashes it also doesnt save my work to the last action. I know that some people dont have these issues, but a lot do. I am in contact with students on daily bases and they all say the same - i see it on FB communities as well.I started moving my main work to Figma which is, lets be honest, stable as a rock and feature wise, beats Xd almost in everything nowdays.1. Whats with Xd's stability? Are you guys aware of it and doing something about it or if on your mac's it works ok than seems everything is ok? Just to make it more clear - people are deserting Xd and moving to Figma - thats a sure thing - i know it as a fact.2. Whats Xd's roadmao for this year? Any exciting feature coming up? I was working on my previous project in the Adobe XD and unfortunately my account gets signed out quick. I try to login again and it looks for a confirmation in my email address (hotmail). I send the code and it says it's a old code (BTW it was the only one there) and it was the current one. I try that 3 times and my account gets locked for security reasons letting my job stop in the middle of the process. Now can any of you tech guys tell me what is really happening here??

I am currently designing an app for a school assignment. I have linked the pages to grouped icons on other pages, specifically a "Start" button on the home page to another page. But when I use the "Prototype" function to preview it, it comes up with an all black page except for a white horizontal line accross the page. Please let me know if anyone else has had this problem and how to fix it.

What, precisely, is the point of a design tool that you pretty much can't publish?Am I missing something? Is this simply not meant to do anything but create nice designs that then just live as... nice designs?How, for instance, to get a web page actually up using this tool?
