Adobe XD

Hi. I'm working on a project that requires the use of a Galaxy S7. Adobe XD mobile is not compatible with this phone (will not install). I could purchase a Huawei P10, which would give me the proper diagonal screen size (5.1") but am afraid it might not be able to install the XD app as well. Where can I find out what mobile hardware/software the app supports? It is important for our client to see the information on a piece of hardware the proper size.Thank you.

I've found that Adobe occasionally renders white overlays/modals as transparent in published prototypes. This is an intermittent issue, and sometimes even reloading the screen loads the overlay. I did see this thread, but the user's fix did not work for me. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have some auto width text boxes and I noticed that the height of the box changed depending on what letters where in it. In the attached picture you can see this is a problem since the buttons share exactly the same type face, type size, leading and padding but still get different heights. The characters used should not impact the height of the box.So far I have only encountered it with lower case j in the font Barlow so maybe it is the font file that is corrupted.  

Our dev team just reported me a strange, but surprisingly big bug! I'm using the vertical scroll groups feature on many pages. The developers are using the shared link (with the view specs view) but if they scroll the content of a vertical scroll group up (what they can only do now by switching first to the view comments section what is also a cumbersome solution) they are unable to read the properties of elements in the scroll group that have fallen off the screen (before scrolling away). By moving the mouse on the screen, only the data of the contents displayed by default on the screen (before scrolling) can be read here, even though they have already been scrolled away and other content (the contents of the lower part of the scroll group) is displayed!

I was working on a xd file that i have created a design review link for and was using that link for some time to get feedback from other peoples, Today suddenly the first 4 screens of the prototype stared showing blank when opened in the browser. Can anyone help??

Just a quick question on padding. I'm sure this was behaving as I would expect before, but I am just trying to add some padding to a button a component, but it looks like it is adding a margin outside the button, rather than padding within it. Have attached a screenshot. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thank you!

I was working in XD when my computer froze and I was forced to do a reboot. This almost never happens, but I decided to turn on my screen saver for once and MacOS froze at the password login. Anyway - I rebooted, and cannot find my XD file in the Finder fold I had it saved in, nor is it previewed in the recents area of the XD launch window. HOWEVER, I was about to see the file as a recent if I long clicked on the XD dock icon. When I click it, nothing happens. Another thing to note, when I logged back in it said my Adobe subscription wasn't connecting. I've been using the free XD version (unsure when it became paid), even through today until I logged back in and it asked me to update, so I subscribed. Has the happened to anyone? Unsure of where to go from here... Thanks,

I upgraded Adobe XD to the latest version, and now my Zeplin plugin has completely disappeared, making it impossible to export my designs to the shared team tool. I tried undoing the upgrade but since the file has already been altered I was not able to open it back up on the previous version. This is a huge issue for me as it totally blocks me from sharing my work product with my development team members. I'm also the lead designer on the team, so I can't even rely on another designer's files to roll back to the previous version. Can anyone help? This is a major blocker for me. 

Hi, I'm using XD app in english version, while my colleague is using Korean version app. And we both are using macOS Big sur ver.11.1.The file my colleague shared, is not showing as it should be. The Korean fonts are crashing. Not only the contents in the screen but also the screen names. The font it self is .AppleSystemUIFont. I have changed the XD 's system language to Korean and it shows well. Hope this problem gets solved so I can keep on using the english version. Thank you.  how it should be shownwhen crashing.

I have compatible device but it is showing not compatible in adobe cloud .

My internet faltered while XD was updating causing the update to fail, and now with everything back to normal, all updates fail.  The old version still runs, but I'd rather be able to update the software. Also, in windows control panel, XD isn't even listed, and in the Creative Cloud software, if I click on the three dots besides XD, "uninstall" isn't listed. Here's some more stuff: Exit Code: 183 -------------------------------------- Summary -------------------------------------- - 2 fatal error(s), 0 error(s), 1 warnings(s) FATAL: Error (Code = 183) executing in command 'RunProgramCommand' for package: 'UWPAssets', version:36.1.32.5 FATAL: Error occurred in install of package (Name: UWPAssets Version: 36.1.32.5). After uploading the content, can other users drag and use the text or copy it?

Hi all,  I am using Adobe XD version 36.1.32.5. Recently I updated designs on a local file saved in a dropbox folder. I had made several design updates over the course of the past few days, and when I opened the file this morning found that only some of those changes were reflected.  To be clear, I regularly save the document and had saved and closed the XD file with my designs. But I believe after updating the app yesterday, partial designs have vanished. It is not a cloud doc so there's no version history. It's quite frustrating as those designs will now need to be recreated. I've searched for other documents and tried to find recovery documents in systems folders but have not been able to... Is this a common issue and is there any possible way to rectify this?

A few users have posted threads where their files went missing from cloud storage, etc. I tried all the steps recommended but still haven't been able to find my file. I worked on it for hours. I Pm'ed @Atul_Saini, but haven't heard back yet - if anyone can provide assistance that would be great! I worked on this for hours so I really would like it back. Thank you. 

Hi, Is it possible in XD to have an animation like the green progress bar at the top of this that isn't triggered by a tap? I would like it to just auto play (and loop). Thanks

Hey everyone 🙂So, I'm trying to help to a friend of mine, something is really confusing me..So she has a button that has hover state and it's a component.she said "I'm trying to make sure that if someone is scrolling, he can see the hover + component in the same position".Someone tried that before? to create a copmonent that has an hover state in? and of course, to be able to scroll without seeing them moving around?

I have found that XD is definitely not made to manipulate text. Sometimes editing a single title or line of text it seems to lose track of what it was doing. You need to switch to another app and come back to XD to get it to continue to edit the text.Also, when editing large bodies of text (T&C's pages and such), the performance is below optimal. It gets really slow or even freezes. You cannot apply saved styles to a selection, it automatically applies it to the whole text box. It's like surfing the internet with dial up.Sometimes you're trying to change the style manually from the right panel, just to get XD frozen, or changing your text instead of your text size, for example.And the ever missing option to justify text. Seriously, this is way more useful than animating paths!PLEASE ADOBE! Fix XD's text functionality. It's absolutely sad!

When designing a Design System (a UI Kit) we often create a web sites that share the design system with users. There is often a direct connection between the content of this site and libraries built in Xd. One thing that we frequently do with these sites is group content into buckets (i.e. Compontents/Buttons/Primary). I would be nice to mimic this in the assets pane. I would like to be able to group things like fonts and compontents. When we have a lot of colors, styles and components the performance and ux suffer when I have to scroll through huge lists. Just a thought, Please share if I am missing this feature. p.s. For those sketch users... I am looking for the same funtionality as naming symbols with slashes (i.e. "Buttons/Primary/Small" and "Buttons/Primary/Large") which resutls in:buttons--primary----small----large--secondary---- and so on...

When selecting a component instance, right-click on the element or in the name in the layers panel, and select Reset to Main State, the name changes to something like "Component 1..." Even when the main component has another name.

Adobe Animation allows you to export a file as an .exe file. I was wondering if there was something like that for XD. 

Having an issue where when I open up a cloud document I'm working where there are mac users and windows users working on the same document, I get this error 5752 which prevents me from working on this cloud file and instead forces me to save it locally. Any ideas on what is going on here and how to fix it? Attached a screenshot

I recently design a website and it is not working in the browser. it simply considers everything as a text. no animation, no buttons, no hovering is working  simply show the image

Please help! Adobe XD latest version 34.1.12 crashes, has huge loading times and memory used to maximum for files that previous took 20 seconds to load. After 10-15 minutes the file is somethimes loadedI'm using Windows 10, and Google Drive File Stream but tested directly on HDD and the same result.Any help counts. Thank you.
